Totally bumpin in with something random here, but I started this last night and finished it today, so I just now have seen it in its entirety. And the comment Gamble makes about the IT is very interesting in my opinion.

His response to whether they have any comments about the IT.

He was definitely prepared for that question, and he basically answered with a sort of disguised 'we'll let the EC answer that for you'. Very interesting, IMO.

What about you guys - Interesting? Or it means nothing?

Oh man, can you imagine if multiplayer had thresher maw fights?

Work them in as a wave 11 bonus that appears randomly and gives extra credits.

It'd be all 'Get to the extraction point! Hah! Just kidding, theres no shuttle there, just a thresher maw!'

Then you'd have to kill it while also surviving the regular wave 11 enemies.

That'd be cool, but I still want a game mode that's only Husks & Swarmers, but lots of them, like Halo's Gruntpocalypse

Hmm, platinum level. Ends with a Thresher Maw on Tuchanka, a Cerberus Gunship at Firebase White, and a Harvester on Firebase Giant. In addition to final wave. And you have to survive. Killing the boss nets extra credits.

I'm curious as to what planet you think Firebase Giant is on, Arian.

Anyone else find it kinda strange that the lengthier version of the launch trailer is labeled the "Extended Cut Trailer"? I understand that it is, yes, an extended version of the original cinematic trailer. But that language ...

Well, all that stuff has yet to happen, with the Normady, Alliance & Turian ships, Shepard on the ground with Makos & Hammerheads...

And they also look like they're on the offensive, not just trying to get to a beam (or similar)

Yeah but the events in the cinematic trailers don't necessarily happen in the game.

For example: This ME2 Cinematic Trailer.

Uh every single one of those events took place. the assasination of Nassana Dantius, Jack's escape from Purguatory, Grunt's rite of passage, the assault on Horizon, all of them happened, not exactly in that manner but they all took place.

I want whatever mods Grunt had on his Claymore that allowed him to explode a thresher maw's head in one shot.

I want a gun that shoots Thresher maws lol

I'm still in favor of a level/mode where you go against the Reaper horde + a Destroyer. Take it out with an oribtal strike, if you can survive long enough.

I think his comment on IT is very interesting. I mean sure he
doesn't confirm or deny it, but when he says "we don't want to be prescriptive with how people intrepet the ending [...] want the content to speak for itself." if IT is how we interpret the ending then we're interpretting the story as continuing, so....?

To me he gives off serious mixed signals here. At the beginning he seems to be almost mocking the theory by saying how "committed" the fanbase is to come up with it and then laughing at it. But then at the end when he talks about wanting the game to speak for itself and giving that little "knowing" look I feel like is certainly suspicious. Difficult to say either way.

Anything interesting been updated about the "Ending DLC" recently? I've been out of town for awhile.

Only that they aren't going to be talking about it at E3 or revealing a release date. Priestly said they are taking their time and not rushing things. So... that's a win in my book.

You really think Bioware would mock their fans for being committed so publicly in the midst of the ending insanity? He also only laughed, nervously, in response to the crowd laughing, then went back to a being professional. It certainly didn't seem to me that he was laughing AT IT

To answer your previous statement Byne, I was a little surprised to see how common metalbending and bloodbending (yeesh.) But enough about Avatar:Lok.

I just spoke to Javik about Legion, and what truly left me speechless was when he mentioned the order of the machines versus the chaos of the Organics. I immediately thought of the starchild and his view on the 'chaos of organics.'

It's just me rambling, but er..dang.

Just wait until Bioware releases the Extended Ending. I don't want to read any more theories about the ending since Bioware is working on the Extended one, which will hopefully explain it...

Or say that the Indoctrination Theory was right. Who knows with Bioware's writers?

Until then, I would like to say that everyone is tired of hearing about the ending... I know I am, and I HATED the ending!

Remember though, you're talking to Javik. I mean, I like him, but I wouldn't trust his opinions of other races, or his morals (etc)

Ooh, right.
Honestly at that point, I was even thinking he kind of sounded like a reaper (considering what Starchild is..other than a liar, of course.)
On a completely random note, the disciple is a pretty solis shotgun in my opinion.

Meh, my favorite shotgun in single-player is the Wraith, since its really powerful, and still allows for a +200% cooldown on my vanguard.

In multiplayer my favorite shotgun is probably the geth plasma shotgun

So I found out the Javelin can shoot through the floor of the sniper's nest on Firebase: Dagger so that's a thing. It's got x-ray vision already but Geth hunter-mode makes for a fun time when enemies start hiding under there.
Somewhat off topic I know, but we're movin kinda slow since it's late.

I was hating my single-player infiltrator runthrough until I got the Javelin.

The Javelin with the armor piercing mod on it was hilariously fun.

Probably Explosive Rounds X from ME1 along with Two Scram Rail VII (higher damage bonus than the X version) in a M-300 Claymore.

Remember using this combiantion to one shot basicly anything in ME1, well except the the shotgun was HMW and not Claymore off course, hilarious as you basicly kill anything at which gets close in 1 shot...though the Claymore´s power with the above modifications...

I've never bothered putting the mod on it since it's already got crazy piercing abilities, but hey maybe I can shoot through half the level with a level 5 AP attachment. Usually use the damage mod so I can better one-shot stuff on Silver, and the extra ammo.

Man, I remember doing that to my sniper rifle. Having a sniperzooka was the best thing ever.

I miss explosive rounds.

I WAS just going to use the wraith on Vanguard, but the disciple impressed me.That and plus I want to use a SMG  (with Ultralight materials of course)+HP+SG combination, even though I'm not sure that the end result IS a 200% cooldown rate.
Eh, worth a try.

Also, what are these explosive rounds? I have an PS3  and thus only have the Genesis comic.
