Also, what are these explosive rounds? I have an PS3 and thus only have the Genesis comic.
Explosive rounds are rounds that explode, and basically overheated your weapon in one shot.
Here's a clip I found.

BTW, what did you guys think about my observation about the change in the code of conduct that came right before ME3 was released?
This has probably been addressed already but:
The code of conduct was changed as a result of a torrent of abuse aimed at Jessica Merizan. I don't know what started it(although a member I didn't use the board) but I heard it was pretty vile stuff.

That's okay, I rarely go into weapon details, I stick with whatever I'm comfortable with, so far it's either the vindicator for light weight when playing as an engineer class because I want my tech powers to recharge fast or mattock for fire power and ammo conservation when playing soldier class.bigstig wrote...
I wish I had some of the dedication that some of you guys are demonstrating here, tbh my knowledge of the weapons in the game and ilk is shockingly poor. It is somewhat self inflicted though as I tend to find one weapon and stick with it rather than experiment with others.

I just spoke to Javik about Legion, and what truly left me speechless was when he mentioned the order of the machines versus the chaos of the Organics. I immediately thought of the starchild and his view on the 'chaos of organics.'
It's just me rambling, but er..dang.
Remember though, you're talking to Javik. I mean, I like him, but I wouldn't trust his opinions of other races, or his morals (etc)
Honestly at that point, I was even thinking he kind of sounded like a reaper (considering what Starchild is..other than a liar, of course.)
On a completely random note, the disciple is a pretty solis shotgun in my opinion.
When you think about it, it would make perfect sense for the star child to repeat and twist words Shepard has definitely heard before. If IT is correct, Shepard's entire hallucination is just a scrambling of everything she's encountered until this point.

the conversation between kahlee sanders and the reaper seems really similar to the conversation between shepard and the starchild doesn't it ?:innocent:
http://social.biowar...ndex/12241848/1
Retribution Novel (Conversation between Kahlee Sanders and Reaper-controlled and enchanced Grayson)
"Why are you here? What do you want from us?" - Kahlee Sanders (KS)
She wasn't sure if the Reapers would even reply. All she was hoping for was that she might be able to engage the Reapers enough to give Grayson a fighting chance. A fighting chance to do what, however, she couldn't say.
"We seek salvation. Ours and yours." - Reapers who control the body of Grayson via indoctrination.
"Salvation? Is that what the Collector's were doing? Saving those human colonists? Is that what you did to Grayson?" - KS
"He has been repurposed. He has evolved into something greater than a random assortment of cells and organic refuse." - Reapers
"That randomness is what made him unique. It made him special." - KS
She noticed that their pace had become more measured and deliberate. If Grayson was still inside there, if he had any influence at all, he was using it to slow the Reapers down. He was trying to buy her time to escape. The best thing she could do was try to keep them talking.
"Why can't you just leave us alone? Why can't you just let us live our lives in peace?`" - KS
"We are the keepers of the cycle. The creators and destroyers. Your existence is a flicker, a spark. We can extinguish it - or we can preserve it. Submit to us and we can make you immortal." - Reapers
"I don't want to be immortal. I just want to be me" - KS
They were barely moving at all now. Grayson had managed to bring their hurried escape from Academy down to a crawl.
"Organic life lives, dies, and is forgotted. You cannot fully comprehend anything beyond this. Yet there is the realm of existence beyond your understanding." - Reapers
There was something odd about the things Grayson was saying. She knew he was speaking on behalf of the Reapers, but it seemed like he - or they - actually wanted her to understand their position. It was like they were trying to persuade her to agree with them, but they didn't know how to frame their arguments in a way she could relate to. Or maybe there simply was no way for organic beings to relate to hyperintelligent machines.
"We are the pinnacle of evolution. Yet we see potential in your species. You can be elevated. The weakness of organic flesh can be cast aside. You can transcend yourselves." - Reapers
The words didn't really make any kind of compelling argument, but she felt as if there was some deeper meaning to them.
"Your understanding is limited by genetics. You cannot see beyond the brief instant of your own excistence. Yet our knowledge is infinite, as we are." - Reapers
The more Grayson spoke, the more his words seemed to make sense on a deep, almost subconscious level.
"The laws of this universe are inviolate. Immutable. Your resistance will only lead to your extinction. What are - what we do - is inevitable." - Reapers
Kahlee was so far under the Reaper's spell, she wasn't even aware she was nodding along in agreement.

I tend to base my weapons on my powers. If I have high power use I will stick with a light pistol M77 (I think) whereas someone with low power(my Krogan) I load up with a heavy shotgun(GravallThrower?)
I do find MP addictive as hell in short bursts though

But Javik is from the DLC... that means some Shepards haven't heard him at all.
However I always had this thought, that Harby was like Shepard in the previous cycle... If Harby is behind the starchild and if he was a prothean once, that can explain the similarities between him and Javik and their views on some matters.
But as we know, Harby is also considered The oldest reaper

I played the final assault on the beam using the kinect commands and found that I can pwn the three husks and the marauder (with the help of the predator hangun mind you). do you think this is gameplay proof for the indoctrination theory?
if the indoctrination is true, then wouldn't somebody try to wake the commander out of his/her presumably psychotic, spazzing trance as the commander goes mental toe to toe with harbinger?
the only thing is that theory doesn't explain joker and the normady running away which is really sad because joker had felt guilty about being part of the reason why shepard died in Mass Effect 2.
the theory does explain the sudden appearance of Anderson and the Illusivie Man near the final part.
until the Ending Dlc arrives, I'll be on the fence, leaning towards indoctrination.

Which is precisely why he wouldn't really do it
Part of getting you/shepard to accept the indoctrination process is to make you believe that the people you care about are okay, that you can stop fighting...

That whole silence might mean either that EC is not about IT and thus not considered very important by BioWare or they really believe that telling us anything at all would spoil the fun/cash flow.

A few thoughts:
1-I think you're probably right.
2-Holy **** is that how bad ME3 looks on consoles or is someone playing with settings turned down?
3-It's the audio again...
Before
you even get into the mako, you've got the dream sequence delay/reverb
on all the voices, just at a slightly lower level, listen to it.
Then
you go to the mako run, and the camera pointedly pans out of that
warning sign, Alliance with a sign pointing to the lightning bolt we see
so often next to the child, you know what you're headed for [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]
There's the crash, then everything goes even more surreal.
Then
the run - and when you get hit by harbinger's beam that same music that
is ONLY in the dreams and the choice scene apart from here comes in
briefly.
I never thought I'd say this but it's actually kind of obvious...

Implications...highly interesting.
A reaper MP crate?
Those crates shouldn't depend on the class of the player, rather by whom they are given to the player.
Speculation: Maybe, if we are to recieve Reaper crates, then for some reason, either the players are supported by the Reapers (or some faction of it) or those are crates that are stolen from the Reapers.
The former needs some heavy story arc development and just can't happen in blog-entry form. So, it must be something that could happen after the next SP DLC release.
The latter I can imagine might have to do with Retake Omega, since that involves Cerberus (acc. to Invasion comic).
Or something else. But either way...BW seems to have had cool plans for MP.

Anyway, i just randomly stumbled upon this video called "Mass Effect 3: Hidden Trailer"
It shows the fleets coming to earth and fighting the reapers, however it also shows the "Stargazer" scene at the end.
There are some scenes in the fighting part that i don't think I've seen before, check it out yourselves:
The kicker? Look at the upload date.
edit: i seem to be unable to make the link clickable, sorry.
