Also, reposting something I just put up in another thread, because I think there's an important point...

Here is the video of the end scene I am talking about.

A few thoughts:

1-I think you're probably right.
2-Holy **** is that how bad ME3 looks on consoles or is someone playing with settings turned down?

3-It's the audio again...

Before
you even get into the mako, you've got the dream sequence delay/reverb
on all the voices, just at a slightly lower level, listen to it.
Then
you go to the mako run, and the camera pointedly pans out of that
warning sign, Alliance with a sign pointing to the lightning bolt we see
so often next to the child, you know what you're headed for
Posted Image

There's the crash, then everything goes even more surreal.

Then
the run - and when you get hit by harbinger's beam that same music that
is ONLY in the dreams and the choice scene apart from here comes in
briefly.

I never thought I'd say this but it's actually kind of obvious...

The whole run looks surreal because I don't remember if there is any other scene in ME3 where the camera has such a wide and long-range view of the area. The only other similar is on Ilos when you drive (a MAKO) towards the Conduit.

Btw, when Shepard steps into the beam the sequence is similar to the one on Ilos with the camera pointing rapidly to the sky.

BTW, what did you guys think about my observation about the change in the code of conduct that came right before ME3 was released?

This has probably been addressed already but:

The code of conduct was changed as a result of a torrent of abuse aimed at Jessica Merizan. I don't know what started it(although a member I didn't use the board) but I heard it was pretty vile stuff.

Ok I'll bite, what set it off?

I'll need someone to fill in the blanks but it was a reaction to something Jessica said that wasn't too popular, the attacks got pretty personal. I don't know all the circumstances though

IMHO, one of the most convincing clues/evidence is still the picture of the red herring.
You can't really blame that on Biowares laziness can you?
Are there any candidates for the red herring besides the ending and the crucible?
(both of which strongly related to IT in that case)

What's the opinion regarding this in the anti-IT camp?

Edit: forgot the 'leaked' script as a potential red herring :D

I know this is not 100% on topic, but this is the only place that has people using their brains :/

Anyway, i just randomly stumbled upon this video called "Mass Effect 3: Hidden Trailer"

It shows the fleets coming to earth and fighting the reapers, however it also shows the "Stargazer" scene at the end.

There are some scenes in the fighting part that i don't think I've seen before, check it out yourselves:

The kicker? Look at the upload date.

edit: i seem to be unable to make the link clickable, sorry.

Interesting. Along with the Publishing date it's got way to much of Priortiy Earth in it to be anything but Bioware yet the lack of anything to distinguish it as being a trailer or offically bioware makes it very odd. I don't know what to make of it IT wise though. Maybe Bioware's just being weird for the sake of beign weird to screw with us?

Although, the trailer does have seriousily good music.

EDIT: Also, you're right, their are scenes in that that I don't remember seeing in the orignal battle.

I think some of the scenes (the destroyer landing on the turian ship for example) are taken from the worst possible
outcome EMS wise.

Is it possible that some of these scenes are going to be in the EC? (And if some of those were as it seems already finished back then, what are they working at now? Just one more reason for me to believe that there will be a lot of new content.)

That's my thoughts on it, though you are right, now much in it IT wise.

The video also has 160k views but not a single comment since 2 months ago.

I also just noticed that the channel has another video entitled Mass Effect 3: Hidden Trailer #2 which seems to have been made by someone who seriously hates DLC.

Note that it was uploaded 2 days later, although still before the actual release.

That's a possibilty. But I just did a check with the All Fleets ending and nothing between 1:10 and 1:24 appears in that ending. I'm going to go and do a look low EMS version and see if they are there.

EDIT: Yeah checked the Low EMS one and they are there. Still doesn't make that trailer any less weird.
EDIT 2: Although looking at Hidden trailer 2, it could be nothing than an early leaked version going by the disgruntled video.

True, although it kinda makes me sad i guess this find means nothing. I guess EA restricts playing a game on PC before relase the same way steam does, right? Is it possible that the person played on a console pre-release? I don't own a current gen console so i really have no idea if that's possible or not.

Edit: Although, if some of the scenes only show in the "low EMS" it is weird that we can see the destiny ascension and some others that i think are "optional"

My guess is the creator preloaded the game so he could just open the bik files (as these are all prerendered videos). My guess why you didn't see some of them is because they occur with different EMS levels.

No you don't see the DA, you just see an AD. The DA has an additional fin on its top.

Can someone else with a hex editor check I'm not being really stupid - I think this is part of the single player code for submitting your ending choices:

Quick thought, are there any other scenes in the game in which you get reverb/delay?

I noticed earlier that you get it when talking to anderson right before the final Mako ride, it's fairly subtle at that point but certainly noticeable.
