Want to make your hair stand up on end and your skin crawl at the same time.
Load the run to the beam... go forth.
Get hit, get up and listen.
Load ME2.
Find a save on the Normandy... anywhere.
Go to the crew deck and walk towards the gun battery. Put on headphones if you have them.
Walk about half way to the door to the battery and listen. Move closer to those stasis chamber things and get ready to be freaked out.

Not sure what sound you're talking about, but we've never actually used those thing for anything, and Garrus did make a joke about freezing Shep for 50 000 years if things go badly...

Tempted to start a counter on my phone and keep track of how many times indoctrination is mentioned in the game, for the hell of it.

I think it is highly possible that the control panel is symbolic of Shepard's decision making ability.
Up until that point, "Anderson" had unfettered access to it. But at that point, he loses the ability to manipulate it: "I'm just going to go ahead and...*staticgarble*"
The source of this loss of control? TIM, or more specifically, the manipulation of the reapers. Neither Anderson nor TIM are able to directly manipulate the control panel, and even Shepard can only access it when both Anderson and TIM are out of the picture.
When Shepard opens the arms of the Citadel, it could symbolize the exposure of Shepard's mind to the final indoctrination attempt. Once the arms are open, Anderson dies, leaving us alone with our Shepard to face the final portion of the indoctrination process, and not even having any dialog/investigate options to help us along the way.
Ah that's really interesting. I like it

I'll make a video... I wanted to anyway, so the sound from 2 play right after 3... it's the ambient noise after you get up; kind of the sound the beam itself seems to make...
Also, I just went through my ME 2 vids quick and noticed the gardener in the bar says 'it would be easier if we all had the same DNA." Yeah, NOT.
As for Garrus, you need to watch him too. He says "now if only you can appease the Reapers, then maybe we have a shot at winning this." WTF? He also depressed me and put more doubt into how it was all going to play out with the London chat... he really took the wind out of Shep there. Not sure if he's that much of a downer romanced.

Yea...the Turian Groundskeeper on the Citadel. I'm finishing up another ME2 playthrough and I heard him say that. I immediately thought Synthesis and looked at him weird. He may be indoctrinated.

That sounds familiar, but I forget, when did he say this? Also, I romanced Garrus and to me he wasn't really a downer. I'm on my second playthru now and romancing Liara, so I guess I'll end up seeing what he says if he's not your LI.

He said, "Now if you can make peace with the Reapers, they'll make you a saint"...
And he was being sarcastic, as Garrus is prone to do...

How cool would it be for a non-canon dlc where Shepard is frozen and waits 50,000 years? It would be like Javik but with Shepard.

I am very disappointed with the EA portion of E3 in the fact that they didn't at least say something about EC during the BioWare portion. At least a mention of a date would be cool. Excited for Halo 4 though.

To quote a conversation on Thessia:
Liara: Goddess! This is a nightmare!
Shepard: We get to that temple we can end this and we'll all wake up.
Javik: ...50,000 years from now.
Javik is such a troll.
Plus didnt Garrus jokingly mention freezing Shepard for 50,000 years if the war went poorly once?

Then in two out of the three endings, you make peace with the Reapers, and are referred to as 'The Shepard'
Sounds kind of saintly to me.

To be quite honest, I'm fairly sure I would be a troll too, if I were in his shoes.

@TJBartlemus
Bioware did tell us there would be no news at E3, and yes, Halo 4 looks awesome
@Byne
I just mentioned up a little that line about freezing Shepard. The only reason I think it's a real possibility is because those cryo pods are a bit of a Chekhov's Gun; they've never been used yet

What pods? The things on the Normandy that seem to have no purpose or just cryopods in general?

Personally, Im glad i was disappointed with EA's portion, I want them to sink.
Ubisoft was good.
But hands down best game of all that was "the last of us". In fact, im considering buying a PS3 just to play it!
