To quote a conversation on Thessia:

Liara: Goddess! This is a nightmare!
Shepard: We get to that temple we can end this and we'll all wake up.
Javik: ...50,000 years from now.

Javik is such a troll.

Plus didnt Garrus jokingly mention freezing Shepard for 50,000 years if the war went poorly once?

To be quite honest, I'm fairly sure I would be a troll too, if I were in his shoes.

Agreed. His life does kinda suck.

I am very disappointed with the EA portion of E3 in the fact that they didn't at least say something about EC during the BioWare portion. At least a mention of a date would be cool. Excited for Halo 4 though.

How cool would it be for a non-canon dlc where Shepard is frozen and waits 50,000 years? It would be like Javik but with Shepard.

@TJBartlemus
Bioware did tell us there would be no news at E3, and yes, Halo 4 looks awesome Posted Image

@Byne
I just mentioned up a little that line about freezing Shepard. The only reason I think it's a real possibility is because those cryo pods are a bit of a Chekhov's Gun; they've never been used yet

What pods? The things on the Normandy that seem to have no purpose or just cryopods in general?

The ones on the Normandy, I believe they were refered to as Cryo Pods in ME1, in a Codex entry you get for clicking on one

I think it said in ME1 that was where the crew slept, since the only actual bed on the SR1 was in Shepard's quarters. In ME2 and ME3, they have their bunkbeds in that one room on the SR2, so the cryo pods dont really make any sense

Because the "useless cryo pods" is what we should focus on lol
I agree, they don't really make sense, and I thought they were equally pointless in ME1 as well as 2 & 3, but one could make the argument that they are their as a backup of sorts, in case of some sort of engine failure or some other reason that would require some of the less important or "red shirt" crew members to go into the pods to conserve energy/resources.
But then again there is much in the mass effect franchise that doesn't really add up, and I'm not talking about "reboot star trek" type of non sense either

Nothing too earthshaking today (at least not that I saw).  I find myself having doubts about IT from time to time, but as I noted earlier, I continue to take solace from Casey Hudson's much-quoted "If you only knew what we had planned..." tweet.  I ponder that statement for a moment, and then I'm once again convinced that there is more to the end than meets the eye!:)

Not so, and also take solace from Casey's "I want you to feel what Shepard feels" interveiw as well.

Given where I found the ME3 beam audio as ambient sound in ME2 that should make this interesting.

Video is done.

Sound from after Harbingers hit in ME2 by the main
batterey as ambiant background noise. Headphones are likely required
and you'll need to turn it up a bit.

I know it's not the point of the video but does anyone else hear nightmare-whispers in the background of the beam walk scene? I didn't notice it before but maybe I'm just...hearing voices.

Yes, there are voices. There are some odd sounds in ME2 by the cryo pods too if you stand there long enough, but not voices.

I think its under 3000 where they die, and also no one should step out of the Normandy in that case but I honestly can't say 100% sure on that. Hope this guy can record it and show it, may just be a bug but if not it's a huge IT point.

Well IGN has this little EMS guide. Although I do spot one thing possibly wrong: I have heard Control is your only option instead of destroy with low EMS if you spared the collector base. www.ign.com/wikis/mass-effect-3/Endings

The marauder shields comic seems to be drifting to the idea that the crucible might be a trap.

Here's the thing about that, what if it is there but is a very rare occurence?  Like, for instance, it is something that only happens in 1 out of 100 playthroughs.

the reason I ask is because I could swear that on my very first playthrough with no mp I saw my squad dead on the ground and then they stepped out of the normandy and I was like what the hell. but I can't remember for certain if they were on the ground or if it was just the soldiers. that was a long time ago and I wasn't really paying attention to that stuff.
