I agree and disagree. To me, the breath scene is the top spinning in Inception.  It changes your perception of what you've seen, even if it doesn't physically impact the content preceding it.

It's a major suggestive component that changes one's outlook on the game's events, and people wh play offline are currently not able to have their perception altered.

Yes, you can still get the "best" data-driven ending in single-player, but you're lacking a pretty important jigsaw piece to complete the picture.

In this day and age though, how many people who own an xbox/ps3/pc don't have access to the internet? If you don't have an iPhone, or you're too stubborn to play MP, does that mean you're also incapable of accessing internet forums and youtube? It's not like they're totally left in the dark.

Bad writting? Joking aside you make some interesting observations. I'd like to hear a literalist explain electro-magnetic waves putting out a fire.

Ah yes, Posted Image "Bad writing", we have dismissed that claim.

Hope it works.. Photobucket has resized them I hope it's okay to see.

Edit: Damn it's small. In Destroy there a little pecks at the right top of it. Well I need to find somewhere else to upload.. I guess

Another thing is the birds. Destroy is the only ending where there are birds at
the end on the planet the Normandy crashed. In dreams birds are a symbol of
freedom, the spirit and inspiration. So in that regard it would fit nicely in IT.
But what do you guys think?

I think you're awesome for bringing that question to light. I'll have to confirm it, but that would be something significant if true.

Yeah I just saw how small Photobucket made them. Sorry. In Destroy at the upper right over the Normandy.. Little black dots.

Not to mention the train sounds are very obvious once you know to listen for them.

Son of a... Dude!  That's awesome!  This is great!  I'd like to hear what the anti-ITers have to say about this.  And, for when they see this, I have a challenge for them.  Don't blame it on bad writting, don't blame it on bugs or glitches, and don't just dismiss it.  Actually provide a reason for WHY there are no birds in Synthesis and Control.

Edit: If anyone's looking for the birds.  Look right above the right fin on the Normandy.  In Destroy, there's a flock of birds there, in Synthesis and Control, there are no birds.

The destroy ending should have birds flying during the crashed Normandy scene. They can be interpreted as a symbol of freedom.

You see! How much good Control does. It even brings that poor boy who died because of Shepard back from the dead. Posted Image

Do you realize how people would primarily find that information?

Searching for "best ending" or "Did Shepard survive".

Those are critical things to search for, only to discover that you can't physically experience the scene in your form of the fiction (currently). There is a very profound difference between experiencing something---even fifteen seconds in length---in physical context of the fiction instead of as a detached subsegment on the Internet.

Exactly.  I'm, what's the phrase, calling them on their bull****?  I believe that's the appropriate phrase, right?

Do you see the planets in the sky? This is the same planet Stargazer is standing on in the last scene.

Synthesis does have birds at 4:09 while the others dont. www.youtube.com/watch

for comparison:

www.youtube.com/watch

(control 4:21)

www.youtube.com/watch

(destroy 4:16)

edit: something is fishy here... why is edit not there in control?

Can anyone tell me a better site for uploading pictures?
I could provide more pictures - concerning my other questions aswell- but the size is terrible with photobucket..

Edit: Really?? I had no birds in Synthesis.
