Do you see the planets in the sky? This is the same planet Stargazer is standing on in the last scene.

Similar, yes. But I am not convinced they are the same.

The bodies in the sky are the same as those in the Paradise planet scene, just a different time of day (night) and year (winter).

Yeah I noticed. What do you think of the possibility that this scene is also part of the dream? Just Shepard imaginng herself as a legend many years later?

Those are rather descendants of those who crashed in the Normandy.

The whole scene is an Easter Egg (it plays after the credits) with possibly reused assets.

Ah well.. I'll maybe check it out with another Shepard again, later..

No hard feelings, and I give you credit for looking. Even if this turns out to be bunk, don't let it stop you. You may find other things that have been glossed over by the rest of us.

:)

Indeed. Not to mention I wouldnt have found the "corporeal starbinger" bit if I hadnt been inclined to review the endings again because of his find. ^_^

Look at this video.

It happens in a split second when the camera snaps away from Joker/EDI hugging, but there's a fourth character in scene that walks behind a bush as the third steps out of the Normandy. You need to be looking in the right place at the right time. And I can say without a doubt that it's a Turian, and not Garrus since he's stepping off the ship.

Wow, the train noises are obvious! Also, you can see him turn into the "real" kid as soon as Shep first grabs the thingy.

If there's this in Control, and the Predator in Destroy, what small thing are we missing in Synthesis? Posted Image

Good question. The sad thing is I noticed the train sounds (at least the Horn part anyway) when I initially picked control on my first playthrough, but I dismissed it as if I was just hearing things.

I'm not sure what we could be missing in Synthesis. Unlike Control and Destroy, its a fairly straightforward beast. Shepard leaps into the beam, huskifies, and disintegrates...

No! I'm in control! Nobody's telling me what I'm hearing! Posted Image

Youre assuming that what the face value of the scene implies is actually the case. I'm surprised you would be so quick to come to that conclusion, considering you believe IT, which is essentially refusing to take what we see at face value.

Why would you choose Control??

If we want to examine the Synthesis ending to look for something unique, we should probably start with examining the odd sound at the beginning.

It sounds like some kind of deep, pitchy thrum that suddenly ceases when Shepard jumps. That could mean something, but I'm drawing a blank.

Because it was blue, and because like my sig implies, I got greedy.

Have you seen Inception? The dream is real when you're dreaming.

I think I saw Garrus's eye piece, and given that it was moving in the same direction and speed as Garrus, I'd say it's another Garrus, doing the same animation somewhere else at the same time.

I don't know about that, but what I do know is that this is the only ending where ReaperBieber isn't present in any capacity.  That's something unique.  I also just saw the fade to white again, and if you look, the soldiers don't cheer in Synthesis.  That's definitely something different.

I see it, he's hiding in a bush when Garrus is stepping off the normandy. Look at the bushes in the lower center of the screen.

What? You have to watch it. I hope my remark didn't give away anything important.

Check on the lower left bushes. Just as the camera shows the normandy and garrus stepping out.

I mean that it's not important to the main storyline. Even if it's Shepard dreaming, he can dream of Normandy Crash Survivors' descendants, can't he?
