Dont let this one get off topic guys. I'm really hopeful for the indoctrination theory being true, but from the response we have seen from bioware, I'm starting to have my doubts... I just hope Bioware doesn't let us down again.

Your right and yeah the IT I hope is true as well if not then there are more questions. I wish bioware would say anythin about their thoughts on IT or anything about EC I secretly think they like to torture us with anticipation lol

I don't have one for my XBOX. The one I do have is barely sufficient to post here but I need it. And as I said yesterday I will find a way to get the EC DLC. I'm speaking to the larger point about MP affecting SP. About needing an Iphone or a data pad. About companies in general requiring the acquisition of one product that you don't need or want to get a product that you do. Ouch, I understand that it sucks, but it's most of the industry at this point, video games are mainsttream, and the ones that make the most money (WoW, COD) are are online/multiplayer focused...... and over time they water down ideas with rehashes and adnaseum for the sake of selling you entertainment.

Really though, it's just a sea change. The best new games we see are from lesser known companies and / or they are single player driven. I'm going to buy a PS3 just for "The Last of Us" personally, but I have no self control. 

I get that, and I know that you understand the broader, social implications of that sea change, and I didn't take your 'all caps' post as you screaming at me, and Byne is just the best. I just been seeing this trend in alot of aspects of life for a long time and it bothers me. So, I yelled at people I like. And for that I am sorry.

I understand, it's like when you see one of your favorite bands sell out and start producing s*** music, it's sad and infuriating but after a while you just say they suck and discover a new band, (or just stick with the old classics).

I guess I've just never gotten attached to any bands that aren't already past their prime.

My old guild in WoW had an official policy of "Blame it on Byne"

We blamed me for everything that ever went wrong. Even if I wasnt in a raid group when it wiped, it was still my fault.

LOL! I'm actually the same, most of the music I listen to is AT LEAST 15 years old. But the anolology still makes sense right?

EDIT: I was going to fix the "ololo" but it made me laugh so I'm going to keep it.

It does. Most of the music I listen to is "old", but I've never become so attached to a band as to be annoyed by their new direction in sound. If I don't like it, I ignore it. I think the only modern band I listen to is QotSA, and I haven't listened to anything from them that's newer than the Era Vulgaris album I bought when I was in Iraq.

You made an innocent comment and I heaped upon it years of frustration. If I didn't like the ME universe so much it wouldn't even matter. It's just the whole thing has rapidly moved from a customer focused game, product, to a profit focused multi-leveled marketing strategy. I play as a paragon and this all feels renegade.
