Semantics aside..."Listen to yourselves. You're indoctrinated. They have us fighting each other, when we should be fighting them."

Is it just me or does the entire "discussion" today fit into one of the themes of the TIM confrontation...

We're just debating contentious topics is all. I dont think that qualifies as fighting. :P

Besides, if all we did was make postulations and neglected to challenge them, we'd probably be talking about how Starbinger is actually Admiral Hackett.

I couldn't help myself...Posted Image

I have actually enjoyed reading the back and forth...intellectual stimulation and all is good!

We didn't reach any conclusion so be ready for another round someday when our indoctrination progresses even further. Posted Image

It's simply artistic license for the sake of having a cool looking picture for the Silver difficulty. Same concept behind the reason why you can have Geth fighting Geth in multiplayer, even though there is no point in time within ME3 where that could take place.

Geth do fight Geth becasue if Legion gave the Geth free will, there are still programs that side with the Reapers....

Are there? Are you sure? I dont recall hearing that.

If the Geth are truly individuals then some would be different and still join the reapers I don't know for sure but true sentience would allow for this possiblity....

I doubt it. In fact, I think the Geth are the one truly incorruptible race now that they are sentient. They cant be indoctrinated. That could be one of the reasons why the Reapers dont want organics developing advanced Synthetics.

I agree that the reapers don't want any synthetics to be a threat... but I think that Legion giving the Geth free will allowas the Geth to make their own choices like any other race with free will, this allows for the possibilty that some Geth would still fight for the reapers...  Free will allows for this possibilty....

That is awesome

What is true? That is the full image for the background for the Silver level in Multi Player just a drawing they using to look pretty.

That's the moon isn't it?

It must be based on how the Citadel was positioned over Earth. Presidium is closer to Earth. On that art piece it's out of the screen.

I say it's the moon because the earth isn't on fire yet and they hit the moon right before they hit earth.

Also, BioWare wouldn't show Earth and the Citadel in close proximity months before ME3 release date. That would be a spoiler.

Aren't those giant things on thebside the citadel arms?

Yes, this is the Citadel.

But aren't those mountiain like onjects in the back? And when the Citadel is at earth, there is no battle going on in the wards. The arms are closed and earth is on fire.

It's from the artbook and it's depicting a situation we haven't seen (yet) so it is somewhat relevant, just llike all the other strange things in the art book.

The moon doesn't have clouds silly....

Somehow this scene is what I was expecting to happen at any moment during ME3, I was disappoint.
Maybe this is what is yet to happen?

People People it's just a picture they use in Multi-Player, if everything happened that they drew the game wouldnt make sense......

I dont see how it applies to IT though? It could fit into either context just fine. Maybe Reapers felt they had to go around blasting the wards before they could close it up over Earth.

This is what is going to happen in the real world after the hallucination since Cerberus HQ is over.

Don't the arms curve to a point like that anyway, it just seems like the tip of the arm to me.

For curiosity's sake...anyone know the page for the memorial wall?

And back on topic...if the MP background is to play some role in the EC (or other DLC), this gives me hope that we may see more of our "war assets" in action - afterall, I didn't build up the CDF for nothing...

If this is in fact the Citadel then this is very possible. Reapers are sloppy though. They could of just shut off the environmental controls.

No no, the Citadel pic must be from the general ME Artbook, not the ME3 artbook from the CE.
There is however the interesting pic of a Cerberus Nemesis(?) dropping through one of Normandy's roof windows.

That would work to kill the people, yes, but they would still have to blast the wards at some point, because except for the Presidium, my understanding is that the Citadel is essentially a blank slate at the start of each cycle. I think the codex talks about how most if not all of the development on the wards was done by the current cycle.

I think there's a discussion topic in the Indoctrination Theorists group on the Memorial Wall. I don't remember where it was posted in this thread.

CDF?

I remember them being a single pointy structure not two with one being shorter than the other. I still think it's the moon just before the earth gets attacked, but it could be the Citadel as well because of how some of the buildings look.

Can anyone get a pic of what the wards look like from any other documentation?

No idea. The arm on the left appears to be Shepard's. The background appears to be Earth. The arm on the right appears to be male. Not enough for me to form a speculation over.

I believe that this is actually Earth. I think I have spotted Europe, Africa and Asia:

Blue: The U.K.
Red: Spain
Yellow: Saudi Arabia
Green: India

Yes some Geth don't get legion's code and are loaded with reaper code.

I really dont recall hearing that, and have no idea where to look for it. Can anyone help out with that?

He's wrong.
When siding with the Geth:
Geth Prime: "Commander, your actions enabled this upgrade. Because of you, we are a people. And we are free."
Shepard: "And... Legion?"
Geth Prime: "Dead. I am sorry, Commander. It sacrificed itself to deliver the code upgrade to all geth units, and we will uphold its promise. We are already repairing ships, and our technology can help build the Crucible."

When making peace:
Shepard: "Legion?"
Geth Prime: "No. I'm sorry, Commander. Legion sacrificed itself to give us all intelligence. It will be honored. And we will honor Legion's promise. The geth fleet will help you retake Earth, and our engineers will assist in building the Crucible."

I know the context of the disussion and I know it's from the silver challenge pic, I was just pointing out that this would be awesome EC gameplay if IT were true....
