My only speculation on this pic is that in our last dream, we saw an alternate version of ourself, the Shepard that  sides with Starbinger and burns, this pic could be hinting at ANOTHER Shepard, the true Shepard or Shepard's "super-ego" if you will, pulling up the real Shepard from the ground after the hallucination...

The symbolism is hard to avoid in that picture...it is clearly someone helping the other up. And as we have only ever seen Shep in the N7 armor the assumption could be that Shepard is the one offering assistance...but that's not what I thought. When I first looked at it (and I don't really have a good reason as to why) I immediately thought, "Who's helping Shep up after he wakes up?"

Bolded the last part for emphasis...like the idea that it could be a N7 Op from MP helping Shep up...how effing crazy would it be if it was meant to be Shep being helped?  It would be a huge clue towards proving that not only IT is real, but was planned from the beginning (keep in mind I am not saying that this is the case).

Another interesting thing about the picture from the artbook is that there seems to be concrete and rebar on the ground...just like in the breath scene

I still can't get over that my first thought was the bolded statement above...I don't think I had realized that IT had taken such a grasp until now...and funny enough (given the discussion earlier today), you could argue that we are indoctrinated (notice the bolded/underlind small i)...

The only thing that kills that idea is that the armor covers up whether the person wearing it is mail or female. The arm is definetly a male. That would kick the FemShep fans in the rear if it was IT related.

It's not at the very end on Rannoch where it's mentioned. It's mentioned on the Normandy after the misson. Now I gotta look for it.

Actually (lol feel like such a nerd saying that) the Asari councilor says it after the Rannoch mission. She commends you for brokering peace between the quarians and geth ( with enough paragon, of course) and mentions there are still pockets of geth (I'm assuming those isolated who did not receive Legion's signal) who still have reaper code. Not sure if she still says this if you didn't attain peace, though.

(lol I never expected to be backing up Epyon, but he's actually right)

It's in the dialog of the game and in the multiplayer. Therefore, Geth loaded with reaper code exist in the ME universe after Rannoch.

Man, that picture is pretty easy deciphered. Note how the hands are in a joint collaboration, and not one man offering the other any assistance.

You could say in a matter, that it's connected to the Destruction Perfect Ending. Where both the self-concussious Shepard and wounded Shepard affirms what happend, and they know that they've managed to deal with situation.

The art has a message, but the interpretation is really anyones guess, claiming that it has no no real message, then you're a lost cause. For one, where we see the Citadel being attacked by the Reapers over Earth, it confirms the situation. Bioware wouldn't exactly create- self-fiction in their own universe. What they create, both in terms of visual-art and off-side game-wise stuff and misc stuff, is all legitimate and canon. Much like this picture of two hands comming in connection.

It's simply artistic license for the sake of having a cool looking picture for the Silver difficulty. Same concept behind the reason why you can have Geth fighting Geth in multiplayer, even though there is no point in time within ME3 where that could take place. 

Geth do fight Geth becasue if Legion gave the Geth free will, there are still programs that side with the Reapers....

Not sure if this was answered, but that is inaccurate. There are still pockets of Geth, but they are just Geth bodies loaded with Reaper code... not upgrades enslaved or upgrades with free will, just pure Reaper code. Hijacked hardware.

Yes, but Rahn (sp) mentions that there are still hostile Geth but they are just Geth bodies with Reaper code - not upgraded Geth - just straight up Reaper code.

Sheploo has been the face of Mass Effect on all three games, only sharing representation with canon femShep in ME3. I'd hardly call it a kick in the rear, seeing as it's just art. Not everything they draw even today has a male & female version.

Those hands are just of random Organic and random Synthetic. It's the symbolism that matters. Creation of a new form of existence.
