I theorized that the shockwave from both endings metaphorically highlights the "tool" used to make that choice. 

In the Destroy ending, Shepard's tool is his "good guy Predator", and no longer is stuck wielding "Scumbag Carnifex"

In Control, Shepard's tool is the persuasions of Starbinger, so Starbinger becomes highlighted as vent boy for a moment when the shockwave hits. I think the implications of that are quite clear...

We looked at these tweets in the first IT thread (she also stated that she liked IT)... and came to the conclusion that they mean nothing. Jessica Merizan is not a writer, she has no special intel, she is under an NDA, she just runs Bioware's social side. She says herself repeatedly that her twitter account is her own personal account and not representative of Bioware. Her tweets caused such confusion and upset that she apologizes and now refuses to comment on anything EC/ending.

This can't be used as evidence for/against IT.

I'll see if I can boot the system long enough to transfer the video I took of the scene and get it posted. I use WMM 2.6 so I'm not sure if I can manipulate the brightness but I'll do my best.

I like it.

Me too, and not just because I'm biased since it was my discovery. Personally, symbolic evidence is my favorite kind of evidence. I think it is more meaningful than the other, more "tangible" types of evidence, like inconsistencies. And this is definitely a piece of symbolic evidence.

Thanks. I do think we owe most of the credit to Bioware though if IT turns out to have been their intent all along. None of this wonderfully enjoyable speculation would be possible without their creativity and hard work.

Second place is right in the middle (time wise) of the scene and where I caught it.

Still not seeing the clock where you outlined it, and the angle to view it in the distance seems way off. That circled portion with the question mark though is Shepard's bloody leg.

Has anyone ever wondered about looking at the concrete itself for any subliminal messages? Like little tiny writings maybe hinting as to indoctrination, like an easter egg?

Haven't seen anything yet but maybe another couple hundred views of my birghtened Breath scene recording I'll notice something as tiny as that (NOT sarcasm, just a couple days ago I found what looked like pipes in the very beginning that I hadn't  caught in my previous hundred or so viewing).

Did you notice that the first tweet in the list was from MassEffect and Not Jessica Merizan. At least they know what is going on. They pretty much admitted that the ending is not what it seems. The ending was purposefully intended to be confuzing and dreamlike.

I think the textures we have available in the assets have been examined in detail, but I dont think anything like that was turned up. Could be worth a look with that mindset as a new approach, but if I had to guess, I'd say there is nothing there. 

As for the concrete in the breath scene, we cant fully confirm which textures are included there since it is prerendered. So our ability to examine it is limited.

In fact I have always believed that the breath scene was prerendered specifically so that our ability to examine it would be limited.

Maybe, but I believe the individual responsible for the official Mass Effect twitter is probably a plebian staff member that is being kept in the dark about the truth of the ending so that they literally can not give anything away even if they slipped. If I were Bioware, that would be my move.

There have been loads of tweets from Gamble, Priestly, Hudson, all of which sort-of- vague-ly point towards-maybe IT. It's clear they are being very, very schtum about it- which again poitns to IT (because if literalism was true, there'd be no reason not to spoil it).

But we tend not to discuss them too much here because they are so vague as to be meaningless.

That said, the moment any Bioware employer tweets anything remotely relevant, report it here immediately!

I could send you my brightened  video of it for a look if you don't have one already, but first I need to figure out how to email with attachments larger than 25mb. Last time I tried youtube a lot of the quality was outright lost.

I tirelessly reviewed almost all of Jessica Merizan's tweets and MassEffect's tweets (MY EYES HURT). If anything comes up I'll be there to catch it. Ninja Style.
