Remember on Garrus and Samara's recruitment missions, and Kasumi's loyalty mission?
Remember how the appearance of a gunship meant you immediately failed the missio- ohwaitaminute! You just shot the damned things down!
It was ostensibly just to add forced difficulty into the battle against an otherwise pathetic nemesis (inb4 he's a phantom, not a nemesis <_<). Even after reading Retribution, I still dont have much love for his character as an antagonist.

Also, Catalyst, Y U NO on OST?
I'm really hoping they make a Trilogy Soundtrack that has every track. Even all the remixes of ME1 and ME2 tracks in ME3. I'd soooo buy that.
And yeah, I'm actually listening to the Catalyst track right now.

Yeah, that seems to be the case for a large portion of the playerbase. Too much for it to be a coincidence. I think it is a combination of factors that contribute to that effect, and the music is likely one of them.
So I guess you could say it had a..
mass effect on the playerbase
That raises the question, is Mass Effect actually a metaphor for Bioware's goal with the trilogy? To have an unprecendented effect on the masses?
We're on to you, Bioware!!

I so wanted to force grip that thing and bring it down on Kai Leng's head...never made sense that thing was suddenly indestructible, especially since in one of the cutscenes leading to the temple a gunship is shot down by a ravager (I think)...

Do you know what happens when Shep steps into the transport beam?
I mean, do you know EXACTLY?
Well, check this out.
www.youtube.com/watch
Yes, he disintegrates into smoke. Wtf?
Also note that the game cuts away about a second before he takes the final step into the beam, so the smoke is never seen ingame.
Sadly, during the TIM convo the game crashed when i alt tabbed out for a moment, and i dont feel like doing everything again, so someone will have to do the filming for me.

Just a thought... what about using a cgi image of fem/male shep since they look better when compare to in-game? I think might look pretty cool. Maybe off google images?

I definitely noticed that this music was off.
Maybe my audio settings were a tad messed up or something, but every time I get to the part where the elevator starts rising, and I hear that music, I can almost feel it in my head.
Its really weird music.
I actually really like it. I've listened to the whole 10 minutes quite a few times. I find it quite soothing.

My favorite music in ME3 would probably have to be a three way tie between A Future for the Krogan, I Was Lost Without You, and The Fleets Arrive.

I think half the issue for Shep and co in that scene was how skillfully that gunship was being used.

No "leaving earth?" Or “an end once and for all"?
Its a five way tie for me.

The fight on Thessia was definitely harder on insanity than the one in TIM's HQ.
Probably because somehow bright lights have gained the ability to stun Shepard (Seriously, the hell was up with that?)
The fight at TIM's HQ was fun because Kai Leng was all 'You're slower than I expected!' and Shep is all 'I'm only slow because I'm not running!' and I was all 'You guys, Shepard is a vanguard, and is literally speeding around the room like a biotic missile, how fast do you want her to move?'

Odd. Seems like extra work to have his model disappear rather than just letting it sit there for the rest of the scene, since it is off camera anyway.

OK so i was trying to take a video of starchild materializing in synthesis now, and something REALLY strange happened. Video as soon as the damn upload finishes.
Edit: Here it is.
www.youtube.com/watch
(It's still being processed, so for 1080p you'l have to wait a bit.)
Interesting. I already find it odd that you don't see the Catalyst's reaction in the synthesis ending. You see a close-up of him in control, and he fizzles out in destroy. Is it always like this?
He's not there at all?
This also happened to me but instead of it happening after choosing something, it happened right as you were given control of Shepard again. Starchild was no where to be seen. I cannot remember if he reappeared in the cutscenes after choosing or not. I think its just some really werid glitch that happens at random times. I had completely forgotten this had happened to me though lol.

"Thessia is Lost" and "I'm Proud of You". I also really like the "Mars" track, though I doubt most would put that in their top.
So it's a 9-way tie for me.

Are you seriously defending the "invincible gunship"? And suggesting at the same time, that we have never face a pilot that had the same "skill" as the pilot in that sequence? You are joking, right? Please tell me you are joking.

Of course! But at some point I stopped listening to Leaving Earth because...well...
But also awesome tunes like Dream, which is only a slowed down version of LE, however is still too emotional.
