Cutscenes must be really frustrating for you.

We seem to forget that Mass Effect 3 is an AWESOME game. It's way better than ME1 and ME2. The end is the problem. Don't let that change our feelings about the rest of the game. If IT is true, or if Bioware makes EC worthy with another ending, cool. If they don't... never forget that 99% of the game was AWESOME.
The ending, as it stands is enough to drop a 10 to an 8. With IT, an 8 becomesan 11over 9000.
Fixed it for ya. Yeah, its just my opinion, but there it is.
Over 9000 would require hookers to blow you while you play it, a bottle of 40 year old scotch and for them to pay YOU 60 dollars for taking it out the store, I highly doubt that would be the case.
Well there is the possibiilty the rest of ME3 with EC and DLC with be comparative to said activities, never know. I guess we'll know for sure if someone hops on the forums after playing it all and says "Hot damn that was better than having hookers blow you while you play with a bottle of 40 year old scotch AND getting paid for it all!"

And we have our inside joke for when IT is confirmed, people!

Out of everything being discussed, this is all I'm going to remember and repeat in the months to come.

(to your friends comment) Oh c'mon now ME3 has more story and plot than all of the CoD's combined, or at least the recent ones. And it's more than cover and shoot combat, the power use and combos are quite fun.
It's my opinion that Bioware didn't let any of their fans down with ME3, but judging by everyone's enjoyment up until that point they could have better handled the ending of the game as we saw it.
To be fair, there are people who wanted ME to stay an RPG with shooter elements, and it only existed in that form for the first game, and became more mainstream TPS shooter with each sequel. Those people still feel let down.
I know that's besides your point, but still, some people do feel let down.
I absolutely loved the first game for it's story but the combat was just moderate compared to most games with combat. Second game the story might not have been as strong, but was still great and the combat had evolved and I loved that. ME3 combat, for me anyway, really driven the game past "amazing" I mean not only was the story and dialogue great but now the combat was even funner than the previous two games. I guess for me the combat was mostly icing on a cake I already enjoyed but I suppose I can see why/how some people don't want any more icing.

Maybe you're right, but.. hey! Hookers? I happen to be very loyal, thank you very much.
Since I dont need that aspect, does that give me +1000 towards my over 9000 requirement?

Anyone else is preparing to receive a face-value EC? While I continue to support IT and I will seriously make IT as my personal canon... I think it's actually a good idea to be prepared for everything. Currently, counting evidence, twitter jokes and silence, I think IT has a 85% chance of being true and intended. But... prepare for the worst and hope for the best

Isnt that basically Arian's theory of the EC though? That the EC wasnt actually planned and is just something to subdue our rage until the actual IT DLC is released? Or am I confusing Arian with someone else?

I did have a twinge of that, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling I assure you. Feeling doubt about this sucks, but well it makes ME feel better when I just think about it and decide "Even if the ending to ME3 is not the best, ME3 is still a fantastic game and I loved it. Even after this, I intend to continue supporting Bioware, since they are simply the best at what they do, and I am still going to be excited for Dragon Age 3."

You know what I liken it to?
"The one that got away"
You had her, it was perfect. You enjoyed every moment with her, and now she's gone. Problem is, you dont know if she's coming back, so you have no closure. You agonize over whether or not you'll ever enjoy her warm embrace again, and you force yourself to feel hope instead of worry, and remind yourself that you'll always have the memories, if nothing else.
...And then you start to look forward to Dragon Age 3.

Actually, I liked the ME2 story better than ME1, yes I know it's heresy, but it was nontraditional and more character driven, as one guy described it, a very "Dirty Dozen" kind of story. ME3 I REALLY love since it's a war story, rather than the very traditional Hero's Journey we got in ME1 (not that that's a terrible thing, it's just been done over and over and needs things to spice it up.)
