And dont do it by redefining the meaning of rebel to mean 'doing what it was designed to do' like you did earlier.

The logic makes sense if you consider a broad meaning of "rebel".

.................................................................................really?

Rebel as any form of disagreement.

The Reapers weren't created by the Starchild. He never admits that, merely stating that the Reapers are his.

Paxxton, since I like you, I'm going to stop talking about this with you.

The more you defend godchild's ridiculous logic and jump through mental hoops to justify what he says, the more annoyed I get, and eventually if this continues I'll probably yell at you or something, since I'm kind of in a bad mood already, unrelated to this discussion.

OK, let's leave it where it falls (to paraphrase Harbinger).

Wait, so does that mean their section on the Zha'til is correct, and that they never once rebelled until the Reapers forced them to do so?

BTW, another theory: Zha'til are seeker swarms.

Was it explicitly stated in game? I honestly don't remember, but if it was, then yes. I doubt they have time to clean up every article all the time, so it could be wrong.

Well you know if any of it is true...then looking at the unidentified races section under the Zha'til it looks like the deadliest force to organics aren't synthetics like starchild says. Instead it is ourselves generally with nuclear war or pollution, meaning that starchild is a liar. CASE CLOSED ^_^

I do wonder why can't you get Shepard's N7 helmet from the Normandy crash site back along with all the other stuff you find along the way. It would be nice if you had all the stuff you once had on the Normandy, but the Alliance had to mess up Shepard's ship/ play with the collection of ships Shepard had.

I know this is of topic so don't shut this down Chris but what was the consequence of cheating on your ME1 LI? I never wanted to tempt what would happen but it's been bothering me, and maybe it could have something to do with the end?

Liara grumbles about it in LotSB if you cheated on her. Ashley/Kaidan don't care (the romance scenes happen after Horizon in ME2).

Well I really can't think up anymore thought about IT because we all have pretty much thought of everything we could think of . All we can do now is wait for the EC and hope we are all right about IT.

Until Tuesday then. Posted Image

Um refresh my memory but I thought it comes out in September the 9th.

Michael Gamble tweeted a few days ago that they are going to show something during Comic Con in San Diego.

Where did you get that date??

You know what makes me sad is what they posted on the official Mass Effect wiki:

Heres whats on DLC page:
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut
Cinematics
Summer 2012
Free

And what is on the official page:
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut[/b] is an upcoming DLC pack for Mass Effect 3. It will be released in Summer 2012 for all platforms, and be available for free download until April 12, 2014.[1][2]
Following Mass Effect 3's release, a number of players complained
that the game's original ending was confusing and lacked closure. In
response, BioWare's Dr. Ray Muzyka announced new content would be created for Mass Effect 3 to address fan concerns.[3]
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut was revealed to be that new content. To
develop it, BioWare re-prioritized their post-release downloadable
content schedule for the game.
Content
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will feature new cinematics and epilogue
scenes that will expand upon Mass Effect 3's original ending by
providing more closure to Commander Shepard's story.[1][2] The endings will vary, depending on the choices made in the trilogy by the player.[4]

So as far as we know it's just cinematics. They are also making it free until April 12, 2014. What is up with that?

Here is the link:
http://masseffect.wi...te_note-Press-0

I'm pretty sure the wiki folks don't know anything more than we do.

I'm not sure how it is in ME3 but in ME2 you only get to talk with Yeoman Chambers about Ashley/Kaidan.

So....MP "Earth" map pack that includes London. Around the time the EC should be due out. Yeah. My excitement is beginning to increase.

I also thought that maybe they have some deadline in place for releasing Mass Effect 4 in 2014. 2 years after ME3. But why would they cease to offer a DLC because of that? Seems to make no sense.

All I know is that either Bioware does something mind blowing IT or something else for the EC, or they just try to explain what happened in the game and not talk to the fans instead.

If someone believes that the Bible is the Word of God, then no matter what evidence you show them in favor of Evolution, you will never convince them that Evolution is real.

Not trying to offend anyone either (if you really care, my girlfriend of 3 1/2 years is religious) but I agree with that too. If they have one solid belief that underlies everything else, you can't change someone's mind without first altering that.

Yeah, but the Bible doesn't say how the species were created; therefore, Judaism and Christianity are not really affected if evolution is how the species originated from bacteria.  The reason so many religious people balk at evolution is due to probability grounds - the odds of having:

1.  A living creature
2.  All the DNA required to code for the entire creature
3.  Remember that the simplest possible version of this creature is made of many nanomachines working together, with many intricate and advanced parts and processes that bend and break down matter and reassemble it into new nanomachines and nano-infrastructure at the molecular level
3.  Food for the creature to live, grow, and reproduce
4.  A common language for the DNA to encode in that can be understood by the nanofactories that have to read the DNA and convert them into selected amino-acid chains
5. The ability to mutate without killing the creature

Having all of that magically appear all at once in the same place at random, on a world in the universe that is in the habitable life zone of its star with a circular orbit, in a universe that is fine-tuned for life, in a position within the galaxy that is optimized for scientific discovery.... the probability of that involves MUCH smaller numbers than the reciprocal of the number of atoms in the universe.  Abiogenesis itself is so improbable that it defies rational thought.  That's what religious people care about.  Evolution is a completely different issue and religiously irrelevant besides.

After my thoughts on some similarities I found between parts of the Citadel and Cronos Station as well as the Satellite dish from Projekt Overlord (if you are interested - my post can be found here: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/12047832/581#12474519) I'd like to share some of my thoughts on the idea most of "Priority: Earth" being a hallucination.
I hope I'll get lucky again and can contribute something useful and new

So, in this thread some people thought about the possibility that not only the part after Harbingers beam takes place in Shepards head, but in fact the majority of "Priority: Earth".

If this should be the case, I would assume that much like the Citadel in the ending, London might contain elements from Shepard's memory. So I kept my eyes out to spot something familiar.

And I actually believe I found 2 things, which reminded me A LOT of places I visited earlier in the game.

1.) Is this Earth or Menae?

After taking out the AA Battery, you'll find yourself in the Forward Operating Base. A place which I felt was a little too peaceful with all the fighting going on just a few blocks away. I can't describe it in better words, but I just got the feeling something was "off".

Posted Image

But for some reason, the atmosphere and even the base itself seemed very familiar to me.

I was almost certain I had the same feeling of "nothing is happening here" with a war raging on just outside before - in the turian base on Menae during "Priority: Palavan" in fact.

Posted Image

So, I tried to find some similarities between them. This is what I gathered:

- As stated above, the mood in both encampments was actually kinda peacefull given the circumstances
- On the right side of each base, you find a communication terminal (in London used to contact your ME 2 Squadmates, on Menae used by General Corinthus to contact Palavan)
- In the middle of each base is a turret in an elevated position
- Which you have to use in both cases to defend the base against Husks and Cannibals
- Even the provisorily lamp posts are absolut identical (though this in fact could really be a case of reused assets)
- And surprisingly Primarch Victus is in London, too (Shep himself wonders why he is there),  which even further establishes a connection to the mission on Menae

Oh, and remember the briefing with Anderson and Coates?

Posted Image

Looks a bit like this, if you ask me...

Posted Image

2.) Is this London or Vancouver?

After you got your briefing from Captain Anderson, the push to the Conduit begins. For me, this is the moment where "Priority: Earth" actually starts, as this is the final assault.

So, after fighting some Reaper troops you'll end up in a parking lot. Via a ladder you enter the first buidling in this part of the mission. And then you come across this door...

Posted Image

The moment I saw the husk I immediately thought of the beginning of the game. For those who can't remember, while fleeing from Vancouver in the first building you enter you come across a door, were the exact same thing happens to you.

Posted Image

And to be honest, I couldn't remember another instance, where a Husk attacked you through a half opened door like this in Mass Effect 3.

But what happens after this in Vancouver? Well, of course it is time for our favourite little boy to appear in a ventilation duct to the left.

Posted Image

So naturally, after getting attacked by a Husk in London in the exact same fashion I took a look to the left as well.

Posted Image

And there was an airduct, too.

But that's not all - right beside the airduct is a console which can be interacted with. And on it, you'll find a message of a boy who tried to contact his parents. That's another nice coincident, isnt it? ^_^

Also, Vancouver is the last time you saw Anderson in person before London. So, after meeting him again in London there is a deja-vu like this for now reason whatsoever?

Oh, and in both cases you use a ladder moments before you reach set door. Which is another strange similarity.

Of course, this is no proof that these part of "Priority: Earth" take place in Shepards head. I'm still not 100% sure myself whether to think this part is real or just a hallucination. But at least I think I can say now, that there are indeed some strange things going on in London :D

So, what do you think? Are there any resemblences? And if there are, are they intended or just coincidences? :)

What the wiki says is 'It will be released in Summer 2012 for all platforms, and be available for free download until April 12, 2014.'

I dont know why you guys are interpreting that as it saying it will no longer be available after that date.

By that point I'm guessing the EC will be included with all new copies of ME3, so the EC will probly just become paid DLC that they leave up for people who buy old used copies.
