Infrasound is one of the things cited by the codex as a Reaper Indoctrination tool.
Infrasound is a real life thing that can and does cause psychological effects. In fact, the same can be said about most, if not all of the things the codex entry cites.
That's all well and good, but normally we rely on the game to tell or indicate to us when any of those things are present. However, most large speakers can reproduce infrasound, but it is usually a pointless affair since we cant hear it, and it can be damaging to the speakers at high volumes. TSA has some professional audio equipment that allows him to filter sound down to very specific ranges, and speakers that can safely reproduce them. He claims to have filtered out everything above 20hz, and is still getting heavy woofer movement.
What we need is either a video like this that proves the existence of infrasound on the Normandy through woofer movement, or something like this (the view in the upper right corner), which displays a visual representation of the frequencies within the audio signal.

here's an interesting video about infrasound in a tiger's roar
Cool video! Didnt realize that animals used infrasound as a weapon. Perhaps the Reapers arent as clever as we give them credit for....
I'm pretty sure no one has been indoctrinated by a bat so far... xD

Or is it a sign that the Reapers are real...and Bioware got the whole idea for the game by looking at Liara's time capsule?

I know you're joking, but keep in mind that once upon a time Cavemen threw rocks as a weapon in combat. Thousands of years later, guns operate on the same concept, except using the miracle of technology to propel the projectiles to ridiculous speeds in order to cause far more damage than throwing a rock.
It's safe to assume that Reapers have similarly advanced the use of sound waves for their evil purposes.

Did you know that one of the early versions of the Mass Effect story had you (Captain Anderson) hunt a rogue Specter called Saren who had a following of a bat-like race... the BATarians?

So what was the Easter egg was it the breathing scene or was it the Stargazer scene?
I ask this because I want to know was it a fan that started this or was it a staff member in Bioware?
I hope your right Paxxton because if it's not then Shepard this is goodbye old friend.
I was the one who first called it an easter egg (I believe.). But when I called it an easter egg, I meant it like the Legendary Planet that you see after the credits in Halo 3 if you beat it on Legendary. The Chief ends up there whether you see the scene or not (Halo 4 confirms it.), it's just that you only SEE it happen if you beat the game on Legendary. I view the breath scene the same way (Unless the game files contradict this.). The breath scene happens no matter what, it's just that you only SEE it happen if you have the right EMS.

Red/orange: Shepard wakes up, and kicks the Reapers ***
Blue; Shepard lives, but is indoc but has the will power to finish the mission, or kills him,or her self.
Green; Shepard becomes a Reaper, enslaves all organic, and Synthetic life, supreme ruler of the galaxy.

I was away this weekend so I missed stuff and got no link but from what I know it's from the same account that posted stuff about the last DLC. The DLC name is "Earth". Maps are London, Rio, and Vancouver. New weapons: Acolyte HP, Typhoon SMG, and Piranha Shotgun. The six new classes are all human N7 and called: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury.SirLugash wrote...

Omg I'm away for the week end and when I return I see this again >.>
Btw heard of the new DLC stuff posted on reddit? Sounds exactly like AD predicted.
Considering that the last leak from this guy was accurate, I'd be inclined to believe that this is accurate. Also, even our founder, the mighty Byne, agrees that Arian is officially the finest of us.
Byne is not the only one who thinks this! Arian is the best the IT has to offer, and besides of that, he's just so nerdy that it makes him awesome!
Here here! I believe I was the one who suggested that he was our finest originally. Good to see I'm not the only one. Byne and lex0r also agreed at the time. There might have been others who agreed when I originally suggested that, but I can't remember them.
I was one of them, but seriously, he has done a lot to help the IT, which is why I find him awesome!
While I don't feel the need to pick a single person who is the "best" IT theorist, Arian certainly has been one of the major creative forces keep this thread alive and interesting. I don't think I've come up with even a single useful or original thought, but I love coming back here to read--and occasionally comment on--the fascinating and hilarious things people are thinking up. There are a lot of really interesting people here, so give yourselves a hand!

The problem with that is that the game files indicate the bolded (or Control) is "BecomeaReaper"...

I was watching random ME3 stuff and then there's this renegade action moment in this vid and I SWEAR there is a buzzing/ringing noise in the background. It's around 1:14.
Do you hear that? Is that normal for renegade interrupts?
