wait what day does summer end exacttly, because Bioware said it comes out in the summer time, and if you think for a momunt why do they need more time to complete the Ec?
Remember I told you that it comes out in Sept 09 but you thought and I thought it was the trailer but i meant the EC.

As most of you know I am not much of an analyst. I listen to other, more analytical people and decide what 'feels' right. That said, when I came to this thread IT made sense to me because of the 'white fade' after harby's beam. I had a weird feeling during the whole game and it got progressively worse, but the 'white fade' after the laser blast was the first time it hit my conscious. (oh look, pretty lights, something must be happening) I believe the IT is completely true. A puzzle presented to us by bioware. A puzzle that Bioware wants, at least some of us, to figure out. ( this ball wants to be caught )
Could the 'white fades' (and 'black fades' like after the mako crash) be used as a code key for analyzing the ending? Three dreams, each getting progressively worse, and each punctuated with a 'white fade'. (I don't remember if there are any 'black fades' associated with the dreams)
For someone like me the 'white fade' just says "HEY, pay attention" BUT, for people like so many of ya'll, who have the ability to dissect this thing on the molecular level, it could be sign post for a side by side, sequential, parallel analysis between the dreams and the ending. Look here & compare to here, THEN, look here and compare to here.
Like I said, I'm no analyst, but Contact is a very good movie and it got me thinking.
When I saw that Stargazer scene, I instantly got reminded of the scene between Ellie and her 'dad'. So the last thought I left ME3 with was a positive one. Maybe that's why I didn't give up on the game and found IT and didn't become...one of the other folks at BSN.

Hence why most of my responses are one liners and requests for him to kindly get the hell out.
Well we never established whether he is actually a troll or just overly prideful regarding his opinions, but either way, just take the high road.

Contact was ok, one of the few movies my senior year astronomy teacher (undeserving of that title by the way) showed us that I actually liked. (the other was Michael Bay's "Armageddon"... which he felt was a realistic veiw of what would happen if an asteroid was going to hit Earth.)
And also the white fade DOES have significance in other media. http://tvtropes.org/...ain/FadeToWhite

If he's a troll though, getting annoyed and resorting to cheap shots is doing just what they want, and you're still doing it because they control you!

Michael Bay? *shudder* don't say things like that. You'll give me nightmares. I forget who they got, but I recall it being someone who was fairly good, if unknown. Though push comes to shove, might not like him much, but they could get Joss Whedon, he did a pretty good job with The Avengers, which, genre wise, is pretty much what I expect a Mass Effect Movie to be.
And that's no bad thing.

I loved Contact. Very underrated movie IMO. I think it speaks directly to the imagination.
I've never thought about whether the screen going black during the mako crash means anything. I did think it was strange how they go from a crash to the very next instant being outside the mako conveniently at the edge of that ridge where they can then run down towards the beam. It all just seems a little too convenient, even considering the need for creative liberties.
I cant think of any other "black screen transitions" off the top of my head though, so I'm not sure where to go with that.

agreed, this thread isn't about forming an IT army or getting a bunch of supporters, or at least it shouldn't be. I don't care so much about the IT that I will be devastated if it isn't true, just as long as we get a satisfying ending. I happen to like IT because it offers alot of interestng information about things we didn't originally expect to find in the game and it brings alot of people together who can think critically and discuss all this information out there surrounding BioWare's upcoming plans. if trolls want to attack this thread because IT is proven wrong in the future so what? For me it isn't about anti-IT vs Pro-IT it is about being mature and thinking about the situation instead of just getting angry about it.HellishFiend wrote...

Ready for what? I think we're on different wavelengths here. Getting defensive or going up in arms is not going to serve any positive purpose whatsoever. And it certainly isnt the point of this thread, to be sure.
Hope is an important thing ME fans could use right now and this thread offers it with alot if contributions.
That's the way I see it anyway, sorry for rambling on.

I can see why. I mean it wasn't a bad movie as long as you're just looking for special effects and typical Bruce Willis crap, but... realistic? The only part of it that was realistic was that all hell broke loose when people found out the world was going to end. But I'm pretty sure sending an oil driller up there with the biggest hydrogen bomb you can find isn't how it would work out. They didn't even have time to make an H-bomb for that purpose and all existing ones would be far too small for that purpose since they're made to be detonated on Earth.

Yes linear combination is the addition of vectors (multiplied by scalar values).
