So far this entire page has been dedicated to maleshep vs femshep. Really people?

There isnt even a single post on this page that people can use to engage in on-topic conversation. Maybe I should come back later when you guys are finished.

edit: 'd by TJBartlemus, but still, my point stands.

(Thick Scotish Accent) Of course Commander, it's all friendly.  (I believe that's Ken's line.)

His accent isn't that thick. You can still understand what he says.

As someone of very strong Scottish stock, and I've visited Scotland, I can tell you what a thick accent sounds like. Something like this.

Ou 'corse Cmanda, Iss ah frrrendleh.

And even that's not as thick as it gets. Donnely has just the hint of the music to a good brogue.

How long until the posts crying about femshep/manshep posts outnumber the actual femshep/manshep posts?

OK, I just want to go on record saying that each has strengths and weaknesses. I prefer MaleShep, but I acknowledge that there are MANY who think FemShep is better. And I respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them.

2- Only male Shep has gone back for EC and the Fem Shep actor has admitted in not having lines in EC.

Where did you hear this?  This can't be true.  I mean, this litterally CAN'T be true.  How would the EC work if FemShep isn't coming back?

Currently I'm trying to find the article, maybe BioWare took it down, but in it I read that The Femshep actor had no more lines with ME and wasn't invited for EC.

No.  Stop.  Come back.  Serriously, don't go.  It's all just fun and games.  I'm personally of the opinion that this thread has become a subforum of sorts.  It's like a forum specifically for IT believers.  'Cause we ALL know the reception that we'll receive if we venture outside these walls.

Edit: Also, doesn't that quote from her hint that there's more going on here than meets the eye?

Well in my opinion I believe that BioWare personally prefers MaleShep cause:

1- He IS the face of Mass Effect
2- Only male Shep has gone back for EC and the Fem Shep actor has admitted in not having lines in EC.

Shut up. No, Just shut up.

Argument done, and I am not giving my opinion one way or the other to encourage you incorrigible people.

Is this your opinion? ;)

Either way, enough.

And I really sound more like Coates, sans accent.

well it was actually the "enough" part that made me think of it.

and agreed, this is all opinionated stuff anyway, no need for people to take it too personally.

Well I do a very nice impression of Meer.

YOU WANT PROOF!!!!! HERE YOU GO!!!!! <_<

http://www.ibtimes.c...bioware-dlc.htm

"Interestingly, the voice-over talent for the female Commander Shepard (Jennifer Hale) confirmed, in April, she was not contacted by BioWare, for further projects and, specifically, the forthcoming DLC.
"I prefer to live in denial about it because it makes me too sad," Hale told Edge, when asked about her commitment to ME3 being over."

Edit: Semi 'd by Dwailling. Not exactly the same site but same interview I believe. The site I posted was the one I saw.

@TJBartlemus

LOL... That was in April before any of the voice actors were contacted, she's already said on twitter that she's been back in the studio and has signed an NDA.

Not to mention that article is two months old.  she could have easily recorded her lines by now.  I thought someone on the site had stated they had heard she was recording lines already.  Can't remember who though.

I can't imagine that they would give Meer lines and not give Hale any, unless Femshep's story is going to be told in black and white with subtitles and nothing but piano music.

Besides, FemShep doesn't have a face scanned from a model. I've never actually understood why.

Is the 2nd point true?

Actually the one I posted was released last week. (check my post) And I am sure they would be up to date to what Jennifer was doing to avoid being false.
