So.....the idea that the ANN twitter and multiplayer events will sync up to the "true" ending kinda intrigues me. My head will explode if they release a London map around EC time, N7 Objective:Find Shepard.
Hmm. Kind of like Where's Waldo, except Waldo's armed with a rocket launcher.

This a 1000 times, heck I had not even noticed the colors on my first play through, I based my choice on what the catalysts said and Shepards own goal to stop the reapers, of course I realized my choice was in error still, but it was not because of colors.Arian Dynas wrote...
Basically pointing out that you can't make judgements based on some arbitrary colours.

Now that would be impressive.
I kinda doubt it though, again connecting MP to SP that heavily is not favourable.

Well, I hope they are keeping us single player only folks in mind while doing something like that.NoSpin wrote...

I doubt they would do something like that though. That's taking the connection between MP and SP a step too far also it would be very difficult to pull of... MP is a horde mode and I don't think that's changing anytime soon... Also, who's Shepard would they find? There's up to 4 players lol with who knows how many Sheps they have in save files each.
Unless they make it a map where all the announcer talks about is buying time for another team to find Shepard.

I don't play multiplayer much but I'd definately join that N7 Weekend if it had any significance for SP.DJBare wrote...

That would be just... epic. Not directly "finding Shepard" as an objective or anything, but something to do with the actual battle for Earth, leading up to the EC and an expanded ending possibly involving indoctrination... I think I'd have a hard time explaining to the doctors as to how I managed to get a priapism without involving a spinal injury or sildenaphil.

Dear diary, I learned a new word today!
I wouldn't be surprised at all if we do end up with some MP stuff about taking part in the Hammer attack. If the game had any sort of ship combat mode, I'd think Sword too if just because damn I want to destroy some capital ships. But oh well.
On an unrelated note, I noticed the aliens in ID4 had a giant frill on their heads not unlike the shape of protheans. Curious if there was any other similarities (looking for material for jokes, not trying to draw a serious parallel), I put Javik's name into Google images. ... My point is, don't do that with safe search off. Srsly.

But whats the point of destroying capital ships? I thought we couldnt defeat the Reapers conventionally? Why waste resources destroying them?

If they'd only implemented scripted NPCs as quasi-followers (ala World of Warcraft story driven dungeons) for example playing along side Grunt and Aralakh company on one of their missions prior to the Rachni one or, hell, any of the major recruitable factions ground war shennanigans would've been interesting.
Then, leading up to the EC, following Anderson or Coates around London, or out in the willywags before they arrived in town.
EDIT: A pipe dream I know, but dammit, wasted potential. >

As long as the NPCs we have to follow around arent as slow as that damned tauren in Wailing Caverns used to be.
I think they should have implemented the MP characters into single player. Theres really no reason we need to name them otherwise, nor any reason for why I cant give two characters the same name.

Hell, they could've just not had her ever say any lines containing her name, and Captain Riley from firebase Reactor could've been your MP female human soldier/vanguard. She has the same armor. Just change her color scheme to the same one your last promoted character had.

Conventional defeat of the reapers is the only thing that would have made the ending epic, an all out galactic war against the reapers the likes of which had never been seen. I mean wasn't Legion very specific in ME2 about making your own way and not using the technology that was left by say reapers/protheans.(Though they character assassinated him in ME3 by having him want to use reaper tech rather then allowing his people to evolve on their own)
As my hero would say "That's just my opinion though, no reason to go spread it around"
