Makes sense that BW would hire an evil genius as a community manager, to be honest.

I really don't know if I see it but there is a very small part in only the destroy ending where some kind of blue surge goes though it cutting it in half.

He basically made you anticipate his "secret" of how to make peole anticipate something.
In other unrelated news, did you know that the word "gullible" is not in the dictionary?!

See, THIS is a really good concept. you took my initial idea and brought to light thing I hadn't even thought of! It is amazing what can be accomplished when people share ideas.
Now if only other countries could try doing that with one another...
Aye, most of the ideas, theories, and evidence we've come up with have been a collaborative effort. That idea you two masterminded is a particularly good example. I do believe I like it even more than the "mass indoctrination device" concept, which was my previous favorite.

Yes, someone did do this. It was several weeks ago though, and I have no idea where its at. We had a discussion on the subject that spanned several pages, I think. If I can remember some key words from the conversation, maybe I can find it using google.

Thats a great explaination.but i have just one question.
If the crucible does not stop the reapers, how are we supposed to stop them?
Well, i have a idea that maybe IT can do that...
You know how in me1 after you killed saren, soveriegn was diabled?
Maybe here, in this more direct mental battle with the reapers/harbinger- if you choose destroy, something similar could happen.
Perhaps harbinger ends up destroyed and since the reapers have a consensus the perhaps get a blow as well, like getting their shields disabled.
This then allows a decent chance for the fleet to win, and is also a pefect momento show off your war assets/decisions.
Thoughts?
This is essentially what I was thinking. Well more like this:
Choose destroy and you wake up on Earth. You have not been on the Citadel or Crucible in real life. You run to the beam for realz and get transported up and activate it. Only Reapers are destroyed, the Geth thing was just Harbinger lying to you in the guise of the Starchild. You reuntie with your friends on Earth. GAME OVER. What happens with your love interest and all other sub-plots is left up to your imagination. (Note this is completely normal in fiction. You shouldn't need to be hand-held on every single story element.)
If you did not choose destroy you wake up indoctrinated. This possibility is hinted at in the Geoff Keighly app that details the development of ME3. There WAS going to be an indoctrinated Shepard running around but they couldn't get it to work in terms of "gameplay". Maybe your friends find a way to reverse it, maybe they shoot you in the head. Who knows. But I see three options here:
1) You die or are just sent back to the loading screen with a failure
2) Your squad helps you
3) You actually run around indoctrinated and help the Reapers (really tough to pull off)
The destroy ending plus option 1 of indoctrination above could have been done & released in April I think. The fact they are working until summer & were asking for what the community wanted is for me the biggest evidence against IT.

Also, for the record, that split second image occurs in all of the endings except Synthesis, as shown in this comparison shot:

That's great and you may wish to link the side-by-side ending video because I'm sure that "blue surge" doesn't appear in any other ending aside from the destroy. And if the Normandy did get ripped in half (which is what I'm guessing) then the point when the Normandy crashes on that garden world would make no sence since the camera actully pans BEHIND the Normandy showing the back-half still intact and joined.HellishFiend wrote...

Possibly but mostly it's just a joke. Saying "soon I will" and "stay tuned" will "build anticipation" no matter what the topic is.

I dunno. Any good community manager will do their best to keep attitudes positive regardless of the current situation. I dont think we can derive anything from his happy demeanor.

Edit: In the link it is much clearer that the Normandy looked like it broke apart I'm just saying:o and since you already have discussed that then it makes this argument pointless but it's good to be reminded.

Also, for the record, that split second image occurs in all of the endings except Synthesis, as shown in this comparison shot:
Hmmm, maybe Synthesis will have a slightly different conseqence than Control. Maybe the lack of dreamy whiteness indicates that Shepard won't be able to tell the difference between what's real and what's not anymore? Or, to sound less dramatic, Synthesis is the final form of indoc.
Think about it, there must be a reason why Synthesis is considered the best ending by BW and the Catalyst! Within IT we assume that both of those are trying to indoctrinate the player and Shepard, respectively. Take that and add to it how in order to get Synthesis as a choice we must gather enough EMS, or, be around more Reaper tech.
So to me it makes sense that Synthesis must be a sort of stronger form of indoc. than Control, since it's supposed to be more special.
EDIT: Or, of course, following from what Synthesis does: Do androids dream of electric sheep?

@Hellish: Yeah, but joking with that if EC is going to be more the same, knowing (first hand!) how the community feels... that would be irresponsible to say the least.
The unfortunate truth is that it doesnt matter, really. A hyperbolic example of what a community manager's job entails would be the infamous "Iraqi Information Minister". To try and keep the population calm, orderly, and happy, regardless of what's going on behind the scenes. The EC could be the ME equivalent of the musical episode from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and he'd still be behaving the same way, I think.

Maybe, but that would mean he's a terrible Community Manager. Personally, I don't think that's the case. I had to handle myself this kind of "problems" during Stargate Worlds development. I joked about things I knew people would like when they were revealed. I never made a joke when people started talking about cancellation.
