Better question would be who doesn't, as it can also be achieved by doing them on insanity in SP. I would have it in any case though...Salient Archer wrote...

I doubt it was symbolic at the time, but likely became so after some programmer looked and said "Hey! Funny coincidence, we keep using the Predator model for these type of scenes, and we keep using the Carnifex model for these. Weird huh?"
Yeah, since they were working under the dark matter ending at the time, they probably didn't give Saren different guns as foreshadowing or anything.

Actually not quite, the whiteout also happens two times in the end for <0.5s eachNauks wrote...
Sure, it may be a coincidence about the white-out, but it's weird how time seems to slow down instead of seeing Shepard get hit by the beam outright, then waking up, the camera coming in the same way as it does in the first dream, it's this whole sequence really that is suspect, the fact that the white-out only appears in certain areas is just adage.Orange Tee wrote...
I don't like that piece of "evedence" with the white-out transition in particular, it's much too easy to knock that one off as "just another transition effect"
I also can't agree with the "piecing it from his mind" bit either. Not only is the Shadow Broker ship DLC optional, we learn giant ships like the Shadow Broker ships need complex generators like that.
Although, I'll take IT anyway I can get it, whether it was all dream or only the Catalyst was a hallucination, both of them have outcomes I favour for the series.
DLCs and canon, another thing people don't seem to like is how some of us point to Arrival and object Rho as a way of cementing this indoctrination plot for ME3.
Yes, they needed to tweak the story for people who didn't play it, but the fact that Bioware made this DLC intentionally as a bridge to ME3 is telling in itself.
Same with the Shadowbroker ship memories in the Citadel, some people didn't play it, but it still exists, and taking it away would not impact the story either way imo.

- Shepard has the role of the executioner (Carniflex)
- TIM uses a Predator to kill Anderson, Shepard, and himself, meaning that all three are indoctrinated, freeing them from it with the Predator.

The Predator.
Completely sure?
Looks like it to me but I can't be sure. If it is it means Saren switches guns over the course of the game, if it wasn't symbolic, why wouldn't he have a consistent weapon?
- he has it already at the beggining of conversation, the same look as Predator.
I doubt it was symbolic at the time, but likely became so after some
programmer looked and said "Hey! Funny coincidence, we keep using the
Predator model for these type of scenes, and we keep using the Carnifex
model for these. Weird huh?"
Yeah, it might be just a glitch in ME1. In ME2 - easter egg, like "This model looks the same like one Saren used to execute Nhilus, so what about calling it Carnifex?". But gun switches in ME3? Coincidence? Easter egg? Hints?
(I wish I could write better and faster in English ;/)

I have the achievement but I got it by completeing all SP missions on insanity(nice touch Bioware, I hate games with MP only achievements)

Maybe because the carnifex doesn't have gameplay stats, but then just give him a predator on eden prime. Why make a unique model for him and then replace it with a normal game weapon, seems pointless extra work.

I like to point out that the flash is only for two shots, other shots, even some in about the same angle doesn't have the flash that completely cover the screen.RavenEyry wrote...
Even if the white out was a 'general transition' as some have said, that wouldn't explain why it is used while shooting the pipe as Megumi has pointed out several times.

Shepard uses the Predator to kill Samara´s daughter. It´s an execution, too. I don´t know if there´s an intended pattern...

The difference is again: you first have a paragon interrupt, then have to choose the renegade answer and then the renegade interrupt.Macgummi wrote...

The same pattern is also in other scenes with the Good Guy Predator.
Example again the Udina/VS scene.
First you have a paragon interrupt to put down the gun, then you still can choose renegade stuff to kill the VS. Also Udina is indoctrinated, that would be a death like Saren/TIM.
Additionally you can't be sure if Samaras daughter or the VS are actuelly indoctrinated.

Can't say I ever have the problem, usually I only wait 2-3minutes at most, although I leave all setting to Any, are you looking for Gold/Silver or specific areas/enemies? Perhaps that is what is causing the problem

You can't know for sure if they are at that moment, but they surely would end being indoctrinated. If Udina was, he can influence the VS to get indoctrinated (at this point, the VS is working to protect him). The same with Samara's daughter, maybe she's not indoctrinated now, but she is going to stay there with Banshees and in some point get reaperized or indoctrinated.
And as I said before, TIM uses a Predator to kill Anderson, Shepard and Himself, meaning that all of three are indoctrinated.

Yeah, since they were working under the dark matter ending at the time, they probably didn't give Saren different guns as foreshadowing or anything.
Since the Klencory text gives a disturbingly apt description of starbrat's... rape of logic, then it's quite possible that they have indeed been planning it the whole time.

Ah, yes. Arian made a good point yesterday. Seems there may be some general meaning to the guns' names. But I still don't understand a connection between Predator and Freedom (does a predator fight its way to freedom by hunting for prey?estebanus wrote...

So.....the idea that the ANN twitter and multiplayer events will sync up to the "true" ending kinda intrigues me. My head will explode if they release a London map around EC time, N7 Objective:Find Shepard.
Well, I hope they are keeping is single player only folks in mind while doing something like that.
I doubt they would do something like that though. That's taking the connection between MP and SP a step too far also it would be very difficult to pull of... MP is a horde mode and I don't think that's changing anytime soon... Also, who's Shepard would they find? There's up to 4 players lol with who knows how many Sheps they have in save files each.
Unless they make it a map where all the announcer talks about is buying time for another team to find Shepard.
Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I just woke up!
Basically there would be no "story" in the MP portion, just a blog post from Hackett saying something like "N7 forces converge on London, Shepard is missing, kill 10gajillion banshees to buy recovery forces time." And upon the completion of that event the single player DLC would be released.
I think that's pretty cool.
Edit: And yes, MP characters should have a cameo in SP. If they don't I'm not sure why I take 15min to come up with legit canon names for them.

Maybe there would be more than one Destroyer to be destroyed. Also, remember all those capital ships landing on Earth before Shepard is knocked out.NoSpin wrote...
