Wha... it's actually written in the game code that characters actually address each other specifically during dialogue?

I'm mostly working on what the discoverer of this bit of code said, but my experience with Unreal says yes. I think it's something to do with the way the sound is directed.

Yes, also used to turn the heads in the right direction.

That explains the bug during one of the first conversations with Liara in the Normandy's "Shadow broker" room where Shepard's head keeps hilariously following the drone as it floats about behind him.

Didn't know if this had been covered yet, but the same tunnel and computer terminal used in the Citadel and TIM's base is also reminiscent of a tunnel on the Citadel in ME1.

If you go to C-Sec, go left from the Wards or Docks elevators and follow the hallway down, up, and then down again, at the end is the same stairs and tunnel as on the dream citadel and at the top is the same terminal Anderson stands at. The room in ME1 you enter there is the room used by the Citadel personnel to direct traffic

From the extracted files there seem to be different versions still in there, even when Hackett is calling Shep:

"Shepard, Commander!"
"{Groans}"
"Nothing's happening. The Crucible's not firing."
"I-- What do you need me to do?"
"It's got to be something on your end."
"I don't see-- I'm not sure how to..."
"Do what you can. There's got to be something."
"Commander?"
"Commander Shepard!"

Looks like they removed the line "Do what you can. There's got to be something." on purpose.

Looking at it critically and with the surreal nature of the scene in mind: "Do what you can. There's got to be something." gives Hackett more desperation and humanistic properties, instead of the other blunt, mechanical words.

It also means he hears Shep, but you can't be sure of that without the line.

Yikes.  Chalk that up as a case of overthinking and missing the obvious on my part!

Then
-Add multiplayer
-Make it so that people who want to "win" the game are required to play multi player.
-Sell weapons to people who can't be arsed playing properly.
-Keep multiplayer events going, slowly mapping out the real conflict.
-Eventually
get to earth multiplayer event, announce new ending DLC at conclusion
of multiplayer event to vaugely tie it into the plot.
-Sell even more weapons to people who can't be arsed playing properly.
-Release DLC
-Get massive press coverage for surprise ending.
-Critical praise, ship another few hundred thousand copies, sell even more weapons to people who are new or just plain suck.
-Build new east wing for golden money-palace.

Sorted.

Why thankye :D
Does seem like a viable (if slightly controversial) business model.

I think it's right on and if they pull it off right they will be loved for it.

Btw reading the comics (finally got them :P) TIM was pro human even before he touched the Reaper artifact.

Jack Harper well remembers his first meeting with Ben Hislor. Young, brash, enthusiastic -- and a master of munitions. A perfect recruit for Harper's prohumanity movement.

(Ben was the one who actually touched the artifact.)
Also TIMs eyes switch between glowing and being normal.

I'll check it out later, but didn't the traffic room just have the usual notebook terminals?
But, if it is indeed a terminal of the same design, care to post a pic of proof?

The beam sucks things up, even Shepard and dead bodies presumably. It's wierd that there is no water up in that keeper room if it's doing that though.

Just being cautios, but of course I got them :P

Concerning the water streams: Someone (DJBare?) here gave a good explaination. There seems to be a great deal of wind in the conduit crater. With enough speed, the wind can cause waves going uphill.

Nah, the last one got locked because Chris Priestly couldn't deal with it's impressive length... I don't think anyone here had seen one that long before.

So we can't get the ending we want after all? is nearly twice as big and didn't get locked.

In that case, it's clearly not the absolute length that's important, but what you do with it.

wise advice that can also be used in other.......areas.  =]

edit:  I had just seen them...... wasnt sure if they were jokes at the time...

You never noticed? Got brought up some times. There is a strong wind, but not strong enough to get the water up some of those slopes (dunno if that's the right word, not native)

New beam strategy.

1.Employ skydivers.
2.Give them wingsuits.
3.Drop some distance away.
4.Aim for the beam.
5.????????
6.PROFIT!!!!!(or death)

Yeah, that's like the ending of Spider Man 2, where a properly gravitating sun would've just sucked up the water instead of being 'extinguished'. <_<

I don't have a PC so I'll use what I can find on the net. Anyway, yes along the walls the computers are the notebook terminals but the interface you face when you come up the tunnel looks like the ME3 dream citadel's.

I can't find a picture of the tunnel leading up to that room, but I'm very sure it's the same as the ME3 tunnel up to the Anderson/TIM room.

1: The huskification process as shown through a vid on Sanctuary is near instanttenous. We see a green cloud (the nanintes i presume) envelop a civilian and moments later the civilian is  husk, that is fact.

You can clearly see that there is an interrupt where the camera shows Shepard's face. Then we see some husks. It's debatable if they are the people we saw earlier. As to the green color, that's room lighting (it's a fast answer! I have to think about that).

Raistlin Majare 1992 wrote...
2: As I have mentioned multiple times, the nanites that create husks do not control them, they are only used for the conversion process. How can we know that, well look at the codex entry for a husk:
*snip*

Reapers communicate with nanides and through them control the husks (as by the log on Sanctuary). MegumiAzusa showed the evidence. The husk codex entry hasn't been updated since ME1.

Raistlin Majare 1992 wrote...
Where in sanctuary do they say Indoctrination include nanites? Direct quote please.

Huskification is the decay mentioned in the codex entry on indoctrination.

POST IN THE UNIT THREAD!!!!

Actually, I believe the decay is something closer to what happens to the Salarians on Virmire.  Remember when you find the Salarians in the cell and they're so indoctrinated that they've just become a bunch of blubbering idiots?  Yeah, that's the decay, not the huskification process.

Thanks for the screenshots! The first one is remarkably similar to the way to the Cit control room. The only thing missing is the strong light.
