That was awesome!! That was so worth the wait. Good job!! I don't think the dreams are a sign of indoctrination attempts that have happened though, but instead they are actual indoctrination attempts on you while you are sleeping and your subconscious turns it into something recognizable. Thus seeing a dream.

Thanks guys.  Let me know if you have any feedback on the explanations and whether they are well-worded. 

Oh and TJ, I absolutely agree. But I didnt want to be too aggressive with my wording, because my target audience is people who are on the fence/unaware. If I jump straight out and say "These are indoctrination attempts!!!", I will turn people off. Best to use open-minded wording and let people make their own decisions.

@Hellish Now after seeing that and finding out that infrasonic noise has actual affects I am afraid of seeing ghosts... jk. Really though the only reason it's there could be that it's unintentional, they purposely put it there so people could determine times of indoctrination or they are truely trying to indoctrinate us!!! Maybe having the volume up sooo high isn't a good idea anymore....

Take a break.  You've done plenty of great vids. More than your fair share of contributions already!  I'm planning on doing at least 2 more vids after this one, maybe more depending on how long it takes for the EC to come out. So hopefully I can start to help keep people entertained and interested.

I dont tweet either. I'm probly gonna PM it to Priestly since he's a community manager. I figure if he wants it distributed to the developers/writers he can take care of that for us. Though if someone wants to tweet it, that's cool with me too.

Well done, my friend.  If I could make one recommended change before the video gets too many views to be worth replacing, it would be a really cool opener to start with the part of the "Indoctrination" definition:  "Reaper "indoctrination" is an insidious means of corrupting organic minds, "reprogramming" the brain through physical and psychological conditioning using electromagnetic fields, infrasonic and ultrasonic noise, and other subliminal methods.  <slow mo> using electromagnetic fields, infrasonic and ultrasonic noise <super slo mo> infrasonic and ultrasonic noise" transitioning into the definition of infrasonic noise.  Cheesy?  Maybe a bit.  But I like it, if that counts for anything.  I just find it very relevant that the definition of indoctrination specifically mentions infrasonic noise, but no one bothers mentioning that over the simple "THEY PUT IT IN IT MEANS SOMETHING" approach.

Likely, viewers of this video will have already seen at least one video that reviews the codex entry, or otherwise will proceed to go view one of those videos after this one. So, rather than add more time to an already fairly meaty video (5+ minutes is a lot of time to ask out of someone these days), I figured I would rather leave it as an "A-HA!" moment when they either recognize the phrase "Infrasonic noise" from the codex entry, or when they go watch another video that covers it. Sometimes "A-HA!" moments are much more powerful when they span across multiple works. *cough*masseffecttrilogy*cough*

The low bass when the child catches fire in the dream sequences always seemed such a huge and menacing hint that something sinister was going on.

Oh, also, watching the dream sequences again, I had a question for the thread, not sure if it's been talked about before:

In both the first and second dream, when Shepard is watching the child burn, Shepard's face is alight reflecting the red glow of the fire. But both times just before the dream ends, the light goes dark and throws Shepard's face into heavy shadow. Shepard is still looking where he was before, his expression shocked or terrified. Why the sudden fade to shadow? It feels quite ominous, but it's also as if he's suddenly seen or recognised something that we through the camera don't get to see. Any thoughts or ideas on this?

And yeah, that thought crossed my mind many times as I was editing that video, because I had to watch that scene over and over. That scene can be flycammed, so if anything weird was actually there, we'd have seen it by now. However, that doesnt mean Bioware didnt actually intend for something to be there. The only things I could think of were that the child was replaced by something else Reaperish after the flames died out, a pile of ashes, or Shepard himself/herself. 

In any case, I'm hoping we find out in the EC, because I'm curious!

Nice job Hellish. Something about your video made me watch those scenes in a different way. When watching those scenes, it made even more sense that the Reapers would continually use this boy as an indoctrination device. They just kept hitting Shepard with it over and over and even used the boy's image to present the ultimate decision.

Also makes sense for Coats to lie about no one surviving the Crucible Run if he's indoctrinated himself.
