It'd be like hiring Mark Meer, but only having him voice vorcha, and giving maleshep no lines.

Indeed.  Though is it weird I think Shepard is actually his weakest performance?  His Vorcha voice is amazing.

Off topic a tad, but did he come back to record new dialogue when the Vorcha were introduced in the multiplayer?

Since the IDT-2 thread is the best I've seen for casting doubt and suspicion upon what we saw in ME3 ... I ask you this my friends...

What ever happened to these at least FOUR distinctive REAPERS we saw in the end of ME2? Look closely at the picture, at least 2 of the "unidentified reapers" have multiple copies, ( especially the one if you look close enough you can make out dozens maybe hundreds) certainly more then the soveriegn and destroyers we saw in the game.

And before anyone replies with "its was cheaper not to put them into the game" yes we are all aware that bioware/EA is a corporation(s) and earning profits is their #1 goal... my question is about their "artisitic integrity" in this matter.

And there are some more that can be identified, but yes there are only 4 cylon reaper models. The ones I circled red are actually ingame, at least as a hologram.

Misinformation abounds:

One thing we need to remember is history is in the control of those who author it. All of the codex information that has to do with Reapers or cycle patters or any of the technology/AI info we get is a product of the preceding cycles going back millions of years. This information has likely been tainted and spun by Reaper influences and thus; based on Reaper math, the cycle will continue. They have created predictive algorithms using biological creatures. Sapiens are predictable to a degree, but with Reaper tech, pacification devices (Citadel in the least) and Indoctrination devices, random behavioral factors can be reduced.

What I'm saying is the cycle is a mathematical probability based on alteration to historical events and a little meddling; Beings of light, The inferred controller or master of the cycle, the incorrect assumption that organics and synthetics cannot coexist (even Javik tries to push this logic using Reaper language.)

These little bits of information are the most subtle form of Indoctrination (slanting of ones views) because other than them simply being historically inaccurate or outright incorrect; due to the source likely being Indoctrination subjects from perhaps hundreds of cycles ago, they are occasionally corroborated by multiple sources and perpetuated indefinitely by people who have never come in contact with Reapers until they flood through the Citadel.

Liara even contributes to this with her 'gift'. Just including the Crucible plans perpetuates the cycle. She likely also included info on the fact that the Reapers can't be defeated conventionally.

The pattern is there, hidden in the data... we just need to find the right pattern.

I've been away from the forums a bit while getting back into Skyrim after the 1.6 update, glad to see they got the engine a little more stable with better performance, anyway, just watched Hellishfiends video on ifrasound, Kudos to you Hellishfiend for a great video, though it has me somewhat nervouse, I use surround sound headphones that are capable of reproducing audio as low as 20hz and I have the bass boosted, now I know why I picked synthesis on my first play through, I was indoctrinated!

Exactly, where the hell were all these different models? ( I refuse to go back andplay through the SP again until the ETC DLC is out ) but I know what you are talking about with the holograms and there are the "destroyer" models in that cut scene from ME2 that we are showing as examples, I simply find it hard to believe a galaxy at war at we only see THOSE 2 models...and harby?

Mine does 20Hz (to 20KHz) too, but I still wanted to pick Destroy, but I felt soo exhausted I just ran straight ahead as I thought I get to do the choice there, also I just couldn't remember which one was destroy and which was control. Then on my second try I still mixed it up and chose control. I first thought I was just too tired, now I know why. Damn you Reapers!

I did a frequency spectrum comparison on the sounds of ME2 Normandy's Captain's Cabin. Both pre-IFF-installation and post-IFF-installation are mostly the same. To be honest, I'm not sure how to interpret those results (whether the infrasounds were introduced deliberately by BioWare or are just environmental noise).

I was running around the cabin while recording. The interesting thing is that the sounds in higher frequencies seem to be dependant on Shepard's position in the cabin while infrasounds are constant.

UPDATE:
This is a frequency analysis of the soounds in the Reaper Core room in Mass Effect 2.

Also Harby is pretty much just a modified Sovereign class Reaper.

Wait, since when did the certain Reaper classes have anything to do with IT? The only difference is the lighting color. If you compare the bluish Reapers with the more common Reapers, their structures are the same. My postulation is that Bioware thought yellow lighting would be better. No idea why.

My guess is they are constant because they are added in manually, also I don't think Sheps cabin is so much relevant but it would be rather interesting if you could check the place where the IFF is, the derelict Reaper, the mine with all the Husks where the Mission beacon appears in ME3 and maybe Object Rho depending on how close you are, when it gives you the vision, and in the fight where it increases the power. Also maybe the "beacon" on Thessia and Eden Prime.

Uh no, the shape is certainly different in that screen.

I'll try. The derelict Reaper especially might reveal some clues.

So, this is off-topic, but I realized I hadnt yet watched my recorded episode of Legend of Korra. Just finished watching it.

One of these days the show needs to have an episode end on a happy note. I mean damn.

Hello again. Did hellishfiend complete his video? And if so, could someone possibly provide me with a link to it?

Thanks to everyone who complimented me on the vid while I was away! Much appreciated. :)
Remember a large portion of the credit goes to TSA_383 since he made the initial discovery.

For that matter, everyone in this thread gets credit for it as well, since neither TSA nor I would be here if not for this amazing IT community here on BSN.

Here is the link for anyone who hasnt seen the vid yet.

Spread the word!

shep. is going to wake up shortly after he touched the beacon on Eden Prime. Then we'll have to insert Mass Effect 1 to play through the story to again, to see what happens.

:crying:

The sadness of Spider-Lin was at least balanced out by the awesomeness of General Iroh, though.
