extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings

In no way can IT be considered an ending.

BioWare will expanding on the ending

Again this is implying the ending is already there.

http://sticktwiddler...shley-williams/

"The sessions I’ve had so far have been really simple, and Bioware’s not changing the ending, but it’s explaining and justifying it more.”

Again
fairly obvious here, says there not changing the ending which IT would
certainly be.. Justify the ending also goes against IT. Also note it's
implied the ending is already there.

Also, denial is a two way street.

Even
if you believe IT is correct 100 percent it's not readily apparent , so
denial cannot be applied to anti-IT without streching the definition of
denial.

Wait, what's the part I'm good at answering? I dislike arguing about semantics. It bugs me....

Can you imagine you run across the beam, you gonna end the Reaper thread, once and for all. You are sad, so many terrible things happend you might have saved the Quarians and Geth died just because you love Tali and the she dies infront of you, together with Garrus your best friend?
Do I need to say anymore?

Well for those with too low EMS and their friends die, this would be a better way to show they died instead of finding their body in front of you later.

With the echo.

I'm still of the opinion that the whole "Crucible + Catalyst = Defeat of the Reapers" thing is very doubtful, but we'll see.

I agree :)

As I said before, I still think the Crucible is a Reaper device "used "in case a Cycle has become too dangerous. "Dangerous" doesn't necessarily mean that the Cycle would be able to defeat the Reapers. But it means that this Cycle might be able to inflict some serious losses on them.

EDI said that "self preservation" is one of the Reaper's key motives - if not THE key motive. So I believe taking heavy losses is something they would try to avoid at all costs. And we can be sure, that the united galaxy of "our" cycle would be able to do so in the final battle about to take place. Remember in a normal cycle there would not be a final battle, since the Reapers would take control over the Citadel AND the Mass Relays immediately. It would simply not be possible for the organics to gather all their fleets.

As for the "Catalyst" itsellf I'm still not 100% sure what it could be (but I doubt it is the Citadel or the Starchild ;))...I have a few thoughts on it though. But they aren't well thought through yet to be honest...it is more of a quick brainstorming:

As far as I can tell from the word, a "Catalyst" normally enables, speed-ups or directs a reaction. So if the Crucible is some sort of Reaper trap, maybe sending out some sort of Indoctrination signal, the Catalyst might be something that enhances this very signal. As Indoctrination ultimately breaks someones will, a huge Indoctrination Device might need someone strong-willed as a "Catalyst".

Maybe THAT is the reason why the Reapers try to indoctrinate Shepard. If this "remarkably strong-willed" person would "fuel" the Crucible, the signal might be strong enough to indoctrinate all organics in a certain area. Avoiding the losses of a final battle.

I agree with your reasoning in all of that. In fact I take it a step further in one area and believe that the fact that Starbinger says "The Crucible changed me" is intended to be a clue that he literally is not a catalyst by definition. <_<

Interesting. The same echo is applied to both Starbinger and Shepard, so I would think if there was significant unintentional infrasound byproduct, it would apply to both voices in that case. I'll wait for TSA to confirm, but it looks solid to me at first.

observations we've made and how they fit the lore.

So who's the unreliable Narrator for ME3?

Bioware, of course. They're the writers.
of course they could also be doing Lying Creator or some combination of both.

Well if IT is true then Bioware is certainly the second one since they tell you Shepard ended the reaper threat and the story is over.

They also say you should buy DLC.  Its a 4th wall break, and shouldn't be considered 'part of the story'.

You know, it's funny, on a thing I was doing for Biology class, one of the things I had to do was give the definition of a catalyst.  The first thing I wrote was, "A lying scumbag."  Of course, I replaced it with the REAL definition of a catalyst afterwards, but still.

If you don't understand what we mean, we can't repeat it million times.

To give you some counter.
1.  Bioware already lied about the ending, so even if you believe everything they post on twitter and interpret their answeres, everything is still possible. (non-IT related argument just for you)
2. I can't remember the "existing ending" was stated to be the absolut end to the reaper war. (If you don't interpret and be literal, thats what if implies. The end of the game doesn't need to be the end of Shepard OR the Reapers.
3. And finally, if IT is true, its not changing the ending because its an important part of whats going on and only extend it.

I'm not sure why you would be in anti-IT threads. All we have now is clumping together with people who have the same opinions to comfort us until this whole wait is over. Convincing other players that IT is plausible won't make it more plausible.

The first and second images are star brat talking, third and fourth are Femshep.

First image is him saying "That depends on you."
Second image is him saying "Yes, but the peace won't last."

Third image is her saying "But you're doing it by wiping out organic life."
Fourth image is her saying "I don't know."

Agreed. Some people act like this is a war, the winner of which will get to decide the contents of the EC. <_<
Thats why I take a passive, "decide for yourself" tone with the wording in my video, rather than the in your face "SUCK ON THAT, LITERALISTS" tone that CleverNoob uses towards the end of his documentary.

Hate to break it to people, but the EC is probably done already and already in the playtesting/bugfixing stage. Working up a sweat trying to convince each other to switch sides is pointless, and no different than trying to convince someone to change who their favorite sports team is.

What's wrong about what I said? Even as an Admiral they went to war with the geth using civilians. And when Shepard allowed the code to be uploaded, they ignored Tali's order to stand down and Shepard had to intervene. So why would the reapers bother indoctrinating Tali?

I'm pretty sure you need Tali and Koris saying "Shepard speaks with my authority", or you can't make peace...

That's not my point at all this is the problem. It got lost a few pages ago.

The original conversation was about what factors about your squadmates would lead them to be indoctrinated. Tali being an admiral was one but I disagreed since, even though she's an admiral in one possible playthrough, it doesn't mean she'll be an automatic target since she isn't a very influencial figure.

The Quarians still go to war for Rannoch, they still don't listen to her when she orders the fleets to break off and it still took Shepard to actually make peace by doing the server mission with Legion and convincing the Quarians to stop firing.

I don't really have an opinion regarding whether or not Shep's squadmates are being indoctrinated, but I think the fact that her squadmates are so close to Shep is itself a sufficient reason to indoctrinate them.

I must admit I can't even remember what it was.

That being said, it depends on the context and what it says.  If it references something outside of the game universe, then no its not part of the story.  If its more like a report done in an 'inside the lore' style then I would probably count it.
