No problem.

Do you want me to launch a few nukes against them? ;)

Nah, Jules and I have a passive-aggressive agree-to-disagree relationship... or something.

Yeah, I've had a few tangles with him in the past...

I just try to stay polite and kill with kindness. I'm a nice guy anyway so its my natural skin to slip into. Granted some days I just want to slam people because I've had a bad day and my tolerance level is low:devil:   but those are relatively rare these days.^_^

I'm not always very polite when I'm pissed, but I see no use in insulting people on the internet.

Also, you could say I grew up debating:P

My grandmother is a former priest, and I'm a shintoist, so I've been debating religion with her since I was 7. My father is a pretty well-known historian and philosopher, so I debate military tactics and philosophy with him.

My brother was always great in physics, chemistry and biology, so I've always debated scientific theories with him.

My sister is a gamer as well as military officer, so I've always been debating different games with her, which ones were better, etc.

So yeah, you could say I'm pretty much a born debater!^_^

That makes sense, actually. TSA would do a better job explaining, but what I see is a bassier voice from manshep, which causes analysis noise that increases as it approaches 0. If you go back and look at your Starbinger pics, the noise decreases as it approaches 0, indicating it is most likely intentional. If there is doubt, we can always isolate and pitch shift it to find out for sure.

Ah right, I was wondering if that was the case but since I'm a newb when it comes to analysing audio I wasn't sure.

I wonder if the Starchild has BroShep's and FemShep's voices played simultaneously with his voice, isn't their frequency spectrums somehow overlaid on his spectrum?

Wrong once again.  That's two strikes now.

Really, if this is the best you can do then I think you need to hang your head in shame.

Ignoring evidence and failing to even come up with a logical alternative is just poor show.  Sorry, but you have no place here.

I said it a few hours ago, it's really well done and edited. I encourage you to develop it further with new evidence that seems to pop up constantly. Those infrasounds might just be the proof we need to persuade the world out there that Shepard has been gradually indoctrinated the whole time (even in ME2 - I posted some pics earlier that suggest just that).

I cant develop it further without disrupting the dramatic flow. The reason it works so well is because it uses the standard exposition -> rising action -> climax -> conclusion format for a dramatic story. If I were to add any more exposition early on, or stick more in later on, I risk compromising the structure and either losing viewers before they finish watching, or ruining my artistic integrity. :D

I that case you might consider making a sequel one day. Posted Image

Perhaps. But I have at least 2 other videos that I really want to get done before EC, and possibly a third as well. If I get those three done and still have time left before EC, I may do a second Infrasound one unless something else comes up first.

The next video will follow a similar dramatic flow compared to the Infrasound one, so I'm expecting it to be met with a similar reception. :D I wont be revealing the subject matter though, because I want it to be a complete surprise for everyone.

This one will take much longer though. A week would be an optimistic estimate, maybe 2.

What's wrong about what I said? Even as an Admiral they went to war with the geth using civilians. And when Shepard allowed the code to be uploaded, they ignored Tali's order to stand down and Shepard had to intervene. So why would the reapers bother indoctrinating Tali?

I'm pretty sure you need Tali and Koris saying "Shepard speaks with my authority", or you can't make peace...

That's not my point at all this is the problem. It got lost a few pages ago.

The original conversation was about what factors about your squadmates would lead them to be indoctrinated. Tali being an admiral was one but I disagreed since, even though she's an admiral in one possible playthrough, it doesn't mean she'll be an automatic target since she isn't a very influencial figure.

The Quarians still go to war for Rannoch, they still don't listen to her when she orders the fleets to break off and it still took Shepard to actually make peace by doing the server mission with Legion and convincing the Quarians to stop firing.

She can also die in ME 2...that doesn't mean that she does not have influence.  Think of it this way...if you were going to start ranking ME characters on a scale to determinw who is likely to get indoctrinated and who is not...then Tali is going to rate higher than most (as is most of Shep's crew).

Yes, but that doesnt explain away the fact that the infrasound does not peak as it approaches 0. The way it looks makes it appear to be intentional, if I understand TSA's explanation on how it works.

Well, one of my best friends is a japanese girl who came here to Germany when I was in Kindergarten. Since we both were perfect in speaking english (my mom is an american, my dad is a dane), we spent a lot of time together, and she eventually invited me to one of her services. It was pretty illuminating, and I've been a shintoist ever since then.

Personally, I think the people here that are most similar to each other here are those who actually contrbute to this thread in a good way^_^ like you or Arian.

It also seems like you're one of the ITers who loves debating in an intellignet manner!

I just noticed something that may be of interest. A while back there was a discussion about the potential meaning of birds in dreams in relation to the scene before the credits. Well on Rannoch there are birds that circle above the Reaper base, this however is not the interesting bit. As Shepard goes towards the ledge to paint the target there is scripted event of birds passing directly in front of Shepard complete with sound effects. This is perhaps not the hardest evidence ever but it does seem to fit some previously identified symbolism and is in very close proximity to an indoctrination device!. Sorry if this has been noted before!

Oh... and the evidence! www.youtube.com/watch. Best not forget that!

Yep. That would be a lot of extra effort for something that doesnt mean anything. It's not like those birds particularly add to the ambience or effect of the scene. So I'm guessing they're symbolic in some way. Nice find. :)

Besides Tali being a great engineer, I don't see how she'd be of any value to the reapers. Reapers are more concerned about Genetics and Political/Military status. Tali has neither, unless she's an admiral. But even as an admiral, I don't think she's an influencial one.

I'd rank Shepard's crew as the following:

1) Shepard - Lazarus Project
2) Miranda - Genetically Perfect
3) Anderson - Influencial Military Figure
3) VS - Possible Love interest
4) EDI - Controls the Ship and is potentially hackable
5) Legion - Hackable and can convince the other half of geth to join reapers
6) Garrus - Awesome at Calibrations - can calibrate reaper beams
7) Tali - Engineering skills
8) James - No real reason unless he becomes close to Shepard
9) Jack - Biotic powers
10) Javik - Last prothean, no need for it since they're already harvested but can be done for psycological reasons

Well, I don't like to brag about my intelligence or anything but I am near-genius. Like one IQ point off. Probably higher now since I haven't taken a real test in 15 years and I study everything from paleontology to Theoretical Physics.  I grew up watching documentaries with my grandfather and reading every book I could get my hands on. I have a bottomless need to experience and know everything I can before I depart this mortal coil.

But yeah, I try not to fling mud. It's really difficult some days. I find being as polite as you can even in the face of insults on a forum like this is the best method to debate. It disarms others and makes them less defensive. Even if they're not persuaded, you at least leave them with something to think about.

I think he might be partially indoctrinated like Shepard which is why he tells Shepard AGAIN that he was born in London and some other wierd things. I have this wierd feeling that we'll have a mini-boss fight with Coats like Kai Leng but way better.
