You know, I wish that the fight with Kai Leng would have had more melee stuff in it. It would have been awesome if Shepard could have kicked the crap out of him before shooting and stabbing him.

No problem.
Do you want me to launch a few nukes against them?
(Sarcasm)
Nah, Jules and I have a passive-aggressive agree-to-disagree relationship... or something.
Yeah, I've had a few tangles with him in the past...
I just try to stay polite and kill with kindness. I'm a nice guy anyway so its my natural skin to slip into. Granted some days I just want to slam people because I've had a bad day and my tolerance level is low:devil: but those are relatively rare these days.
I'm not always very polite when I'm pissed, but I see no use in insulting people on the internet.
Also, you could say I grew up debating:P
My grandmother is a former priest, and I'm a shintoist, so I've been debating religion with her since I was 7. My father is a pretty well-known historian and philosopher, so I debate military tactics and philosophy with him.
My brother was always great in physics, chemistry and biology, so I've always debated scientific theories with him.
My sister is a gamer as well as military officer, so I've always been debating different games with her, which ones were better, etc.
So yeah, you could say I'm pretty much a born debater!
Cool. Our personalities are probably similar. I know Arian and I are similar. At risk of being rash, I might say most people who are open to IT seem similar.
And that's cool that you're a shintoist. I've heard of them but never met one. I'm a Deist myself...
Well, one of my best friends is a japanese girl who came here to Germany when I was in Kindergarten. Since we both were perfect in speaking english (my mom is an american, my dad is a dane), we spent a lot of time together, and she eventually invited me to one of her services. It was pretty illuminating, and I've been a shintoist ever since then.
Personally, I think the people here that are most similar to each other here are those who actually contrbute to this thread in a good way^_^ like you or Arian.
It also seems like you're one of the ITers who loves debating in an intellignet manner!
Well, I don't like to brag about my intelligence or anything but I am near-genius. Like one IQ point off. Probably higher now since I haven't taken a real test in 15 years and I study everything from paleontology to Theoretical Physics. I grew up watching documentaries with my grandfather and reading every book I could get my hands on. I have a bottomless need to experience and know everything I can before I depart this mortal coil.
But yeah, I try not to fling mud. It's really difficult some days. I find being as polite as you can even in the face of insults on a forum like this is the best method to debate. It disarms others and makes them less defensive. Even if they're not persuaded, you at least leave them with something to think about.
Damn, you sound a lot like me and my brother.
Me, I'm a literature, history, and language freak. I've studied several different languafges, and can speak 4 fluently, and 2 with basic knowledge. I'm pretty much seen as a master of language and literature in my university.
When it comes to literature, you can bet I've read almost it all. From Lovecraft to Orwell, from Jules Vern to Hobbs... Yup, pretty much it all. I do extremely well at analyzing literature and finding small hints among the lines, or interpreting its message or themes. I guess that's one of the reasons the IT intrigues me that much...
What intrigues me most about history is the military aspect of it. War more or less shaped our modern world, and is one of the sole reasons for technical advances in the last century. However, the best part of history is IMO the roman empire.
Also, I'll be joining the military as a supreme officer in two years, so I hope I can put my historical military knowledge and leadership skills to good use!

Honestly anything would be better then Kai Leng's boss fights. They are genuinely terrible and annoying.
To be honest, Mass Effect never really lent itself well to 'boss fights'. I found the verbal beatdowns much more satisfying.
Course, doesn't mean I'd object to being proven wrong. If Bioware ever did add in some epic boss fights, I'd be very happy.

Collector created minions, I'm guessing.
Though I was a big miffed that we never even saw a single Collector in ME3, even as a side mission.

They didn't have any "screen time" for the Collector's either (other than flashbacks w/Javik)...perhaps they were older "tech" and thrown to the scrap heap since Shep walked all over them.

The whole period of history fascinates me. Greek, Roman, Gaul, Persian, Hun... All very interesting stuff.
Though my personal favourite is World War 2. A terrible time, but the insanely fast leaps in technology and the tales of heroism through the darkest of times is inspiring.
Possibly why I love Mass Effect so much.

Btw, I don't know but it seems in some regard (diversity) ME3 is a step back if compared to ME2. Or maybe there are just different kinds of enemies.

Could just be a case of them not including them since we have 'replacements' for them in ME3.
For exploding kamikaze type attackers like the abominations we now have the swarmers and if you get swamped by them you're screwed. As for the Scion, you could argue that the Banshee's are their replacements since they can use those biotic projectiles to attack you from a distance and charge at you to force you out of cover, or the ravager's possibly with their cannon. As for the Praetorian, the closest thing I can think of as it's replacement is the brute, both are incredibly tough to kill and can wipe your squad out in no time.
