Damn, you sound a lot like me and my brother.

Me, I'm a literature, history, and language freak. I've studied several different languafges, and can speak 4 fluently, and 2 with basic knowledge. I'm pretty much seen as a master of language and literature in my university.

When it comes to literature, you can bet I've read almost it all. From Lovecraft to Orwell, from Jules Vern to Hobbs... Yup, pretty much it all. I do extremely well at analyzing literature and finding small hints among the lines, or interpreting its message or themes. I guess that's one of the reasons the IT intrigues me that much...

What intrigues me most about history is the military aspect of it. War more or less shaped our modern world, and is one of the sole reasons for technical advances in the last century. However, the best part of history is IMO the roman empire.

Also, I'll be joining the military as a supreme officer in two years, so I hope I can put my historical military knowledge and leadership skills to good use!

Have fun with that. I wish you well in that pursuit. We must always have lions to protect us from the wolves.

Indeed. I'll be serving with my sister.

What I'm looking forward to most is all the tasks I'll have to do in different countries.

One of my frinds has a father in the navy and he gets to go to a lot of exciting places, and since I love exploring the world (been to 18 different countries), that is something I really look forward to!

Ah, now I'm really jelly. :P

To how many countries have you been?

I have this wierd feeling that we'll have a mini-boss fight with Coats like Kai Leng but way better.
Honestly anything would be better then Kai Leng's boss fights.  They are genuinely terrible and annoying.

To be honest, Mass Effect never really lent itself well to 'boss fights'.  I found the verbal beatdowns much more satisfying.

Course, doesn't mean I'd object to being proven wrong.  If Bioware ever did add in some epic boss fights, I'd be very happy.
I loved every boss fight from ME1 .-.

This is OT, but does anybody know why Bioware chose not to include some of the more ancillary Reaper minions from ME2 - like scions and abominations - in ME3? Not that we don't already have a nice variety of Reaper baddies, of course.

Could just be a case of them not including them since we have 'replacements' for them in ME3.

For exploding kamikaze type attackers like the abominations we now have the swarmers and if you get swamped by them you're screwed. As for the Scion, you could argue that the Banshee's are their replacements since they can use those biotic projectiles to attack you from a distance and charge at you to force you out of cover, or the ravager's possibly with their cannon. As for the Praetorian, the closest thing I can think of as it's replacement is the brute, both are incredibly tough to kill and can wipe your squad out in no time.

I always thought that the Brutes were a cheap way to include Yahgs...w/o saying they were Yahgs...As for Praetorians - what about the Harvesters as their replacement?

Only 'boss fight' was Saren, really.  Unless I'm forgetting something...

The rest were just waves of enemies led by a slightly tougher mob (the Thorian, Benzia) or were so easy I'm not even sure they can count as a boss (Fist).

Oh, and that Krogan Battlemaster leading a squad of Geth just after you mean Liara.  I hated that part so much.

That being said, we did have plenty of Thresher Maws.  Those things were nasty if you didn't move properly in the Mako.

Oh I know...my brother was always the artistic one in my family...for my family I was the smart one - but more of a lazy smart to be honest with you.  I was also fairly athletic and IMHO the most attractive child that my parents sired.  Funny thing is I can see the creative connections quite well...I just never seemed to be able to translate that to being able to share it with others.

I thought there were like Harvesters ( i think u can encounter few in ME2) and in ME3 there are enemy harvesters which are indoctrinated harvesters...or something like that :P
