I do hope Hellish's vid opens up more minds. Not for the sake of "converting", but for the sake of, you know, being open minded. It's a good thing, like the heal powers of laughter.

And then Cameltoeus and Seboist will ruin the whole damn thing. Just watch.

I still can't believe Seboist called me trash.  I nearly lost it that day.

it sounds like these two are proof that humanity in general is too immature to use the internet...

I'm 95% sure they are both just internet trolls, and not even good ones, at that. I will offer Seival a sincere apology if I'm wrong about this, but I'm fairly sure he is the #1 troll on BSN right now, and very few people realize it.

Hey, you never know. With the anonimity of the internet, alot of people may not be who they seem to be..
But no, i wasn't really implying anything. I just thought i would mention it since people were talking about earlier.

That is... suspiscious...

Not to sound cynical or anything, but I think we may be over-analysing things now

This was brought up the other day and I also advised everyone not to look deeply into it. But its not my place to tell people what to speculate on... <_<

I'm not going to look at it any further... I'm just going to give it a Spock eyebrow lift and leave it at that.

If Seival is a troll, he's a really good one because he seems genuine in his zaniness.

Sorry guys. :( Lots of people bringing up great topics that I want to spend time replying to instead of just saying "cool!", and it's a bit too much right now. I have about 6 or 7 tabs set aside that need replies... I'll probly have to get to them tomorrow.

If it's any consolation, you can take it as a compliment, because I want to pay extra attention to your posts rather than reeling off a quick reply. :)

Exactly. As much as I abhor trolling, you almost have to admire the subtlety and elegance of a master level troll. I've only seen a few, but damn, theyre good.

Watched the Saren death video linked a page or two ago, and it's really funny how he is clearly talking about Synthesis, but it's portrayed as a crime against nature at that point (Code 89?) in the story.

Also, Bailey could never be a squad mate. He's a spineless bastard that helps Cerberus invade the Citadel.

Code 89! I found that definition Posted Image

Wait, where was it implied Bailey is working for Cerberus? Posted Image

Just an idea I have. He's very odd in the Citadel mission. He's the only C-Sec officer left alive. He is found BEHIND Cerberus lines. He has been known to take bribes before (ME2) and I believe Cerberus even shows intent to hire him in the future.

Then at the end where you think Kai Leng is coming through the door to attack the Council, it's just Bailey and some other random dude, and their explanation is that they scared them away. BS in my opinion.

I think Bailey regretted his decision when he saw Shep land and shot himself and just decided to help Shep since he was the scariest person in the area. I don't think Bailey is a bad guy, it just makes the story more interesting to me. Fits with his character, too, imo.

If you play the mission again sometime, just look at it through the perspective of assuming he is a mole, and you should see it. There's no proof, but I think it's very subtley implied. ;)

At the end of Thane's loyalty mission in ME2 in the mission report it's stated that Bailey might make a good "candidate for Cerberus recruitment" but it's never stated in either game whether or not they tried/succeeded in recruiting him. The only thing that makes sense with him being a Cerberus agent is that Kai Leng and Phantoms suddenly ran away when they "saw C-Sec coming" when you're facing off with Udina and VS.

I don't think Kai Leng would have ran away unless he knew what was happening on the other side of the door, and it's not impossible they have Udina bugged for surveillance. So it could make sense he ran away when things weren't going his way with Udina dead and the VS either dead or with Shepard.

I had an opposite impression of Bailey. He seemed like he wanted to be on the straight and narrow once he got his new position. I think he really did chase Kai Leng off because Kai Leng is just that lame.

It would actually ****** me off because he seemed to have become respectable. Guy has lost his family to the Reapers, why would he join Cerberus. Maybe he was a good candidate in ME2 but not now.

I think if bioware had a different owner (someone else than EA) mass effect 3 wouldn't have been rushed out, and we would have gotten a more complete game.

I blame ea more than bioware for how the game has ended, even if the IT was planned, I think ea wanted to rush it out, that's why we have huge plot holes and no boss fight, every game needs a boss fight, yeah yeah it is suppose to be artistic and all that, it's a video game, I wanted a boss to fight. A cutscene after walking to a beam doesn't feel like an ending.

anyway, sure hope bioware does have something up their sleeve.

I agree for two reasons: one, I liked Bailey and hadn't even considered this my first few playthroughs and two, Kai Leng. That's all. :P

This may have already been covered, but I'm curious...has anyone analyzed the first two games for infrasound? Looking for anything around TIM or Saren? That would be interesting if it's been a consistent thing they've done for all the games. Maybe take a listen to the Thorian while you're at it ;)

Hugely agree, ever since EA stepped in Bioware's quality has degraded absurdly.

Have you guys considered that you actually might both be right?

Bailey was with Cerberus, then reconsidered, and chased Kai Leng off because he is just that lame.

Makes sense. :D

Sad thing is, I'm only half joking.... :?

Someone analyzed Normandy pre and post-IFF, and found no differences. Thats been the only ME2 analysis done so far, I think.
