And really, blaming a lost bet for doing something improper is just another way of passing blame. If you really care about people's opinions of you, you will always come out ahead by manning up. I think I understand what they intended.

Red ending: Do we sacrifce the geth, Edi and all reaper tech including every thing that is based on Reaper tech/Shepard.

Blue ending: Do we sacrifec Shepard's will to fight, the galaxy under Reaper law, and the Normandy.

Green: Do we Sacrifice Shepard, and all of the galaxy's organics so that they all can be Synthetics, and ubtain ever lasting peace that seem's to good to be true, or maybe doom the galaxy.

Basicly what I am saying is what are we willing to do to get the job done, and that's what Bioware wanted us to understand. By picking one of the three chocies you my either save the galaxy but at a price that you may not like to hear about, or you can doom the galaxy but you my come out alive depending on what choice you pick.

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting, but I've been a lurker here for a while. I just finished the game a couple of days ago and from the moment I entered the Citadel I had the distince impression I was missing something, or something was wrong. Things kept throwing up little red flags, yet oddly enough I completely forgot about it once I met the Catalyst. I initially chose Synthesis so didn't see the "Shepard breathes" scene, and was left after the credits feeling, again, vaguely unsettled. Once I looked into the Indoctrination Theory everything made sense. I find it more plausible that the IT was at least partly Bioware's intention, than the idea that they suddenly lost their minds and wrote a nonsensical, out-of-nowhere ending. Anyway, it's always great to come on here and see all the little clues you guys dig up. There's one thing I've noticed, and I don't think anyone else has mentioned it, but when you choose the Destroy option, as you're approaching the tube, does anyone else hear the shrieking of the Beam faintly in the background? Or is it just me?

Also, I was looking at analysis of the "breathes" scene and the rubble surrounding Shepard. While most seeme to agree that it looks like concrete and rebar from London, others pointed out that the Catalyst chamber had wires and tubing that resembled rebar, and some of the architecture could be mistaken for concrete in the right light. I had an idea that maybe this was intentional. We know the final scene was heavily choreographed, which means we have to assume nothing is mere coincidence. Could it be then that the materials of the Catalyst chamber resemble the London rubble because Shepard is still there, and his mind is creating the area out of his surroundings? Others had pointed out more similarities between the chamber and the Beam area which would support this.

Finally, what exactly do you guys think the EC will be? Assuming the IT is correct, will it be explained? Or will the EC extend the indoctrination process, showing us the "consequences" of our choice: Control, Synthesis, or Destroy, at least as they would appear in Shepard's mind. Maybe there would be another hint for those who chose Destroy?

Yes, sometimes I really enjoy lurking this thread...can't wait with what they come up next!...sadly its not in 3D...

Oh I also forgot that Casey said something like " we thought it was best to leave text evidence in the game so the players can see what was happening during th course of the game", and he alos was trying to point out that he really does not belive about us realing on tech all the time, and that's probable why destroy is there because we must learn to live without tech that we realy on all the time and start to make our own future without some much from technology.

A misinterpretation? How so exactll?

Kid is the representitive of earth. You can't say Bioware lied about the game, then believe some random thing about the kid that they also said. We can't pick and choose when Bioware is telling the truth which is why we use evidence from the game.  We know the kid is more than a representive of Earth. Why else would the Catalyst take its form to manipulate your emotions?

Point is, Infrasonic noise that we wouldn't even be able to play on our speakers was put into the game in places related to reapers and possible indoctrination. Infrasonic noise, which is silent, is what is used by Reapers in their Indoctrination. That's solid.
