Just wanted to say, after the screamer-storm a few hours ago I'm now in my usual state of post-scare-anxiousness, expecting monsters behind everything. Great.

Never watch Slenderman videos then. Especially not TribeTwelve. God help you if you do if you are that sensitive.

No it is too fool Shepard. Destroy is essentially the uncorrupted part of Shepards mind according to IT, by picking destroy you reject the Reapers and break free. This is supported by the fact taht just about every good character in the game has a line of dialogue telling you to destroy the Reapers.

But the Catalyst aka the Reapers dont want that and paint Destroy as bad by making it the option where you accoding to them sacrifice the most, in the form of EDI/Geth/Technology.

On the other hand Control, aka TIM´s choice (who ended up Indoctrinated) is painted in a better light and Synthesis, Saren´s Choice (who also was Indoctrinated) is painted as the ultimate solution, something that ends the problem once and for all.

But the last two are traps. They are the Reapers philosiphy as shown by their two Indoctrinated servants we fought, Saren and TIM. These choices will lead to Indoctrination so the catalyst tries to make Shepard pick them by amking them appear reasonable.

Oh... I think I get it. That can make sense.

Thanks for the answers, everyone.

Happy to help ^_^

It's all about MarbleHornets, brah. B)

TribeTwelve is better. MarbleHornets is 20 minutes of boring, 5 minutes of Alex being a d*** and maybe 2 mins of Slendy at most.

I'm not planning to watch anything about that creepy thing. I tend to avoid anything that could be remotely creepy. Strange thing is, I wasn't creeped out by the monastery mission in ME3 at all.

Anyone see this video yet? Pretty interesting.

All this proves is that the eccentric volus is indocrinated and trying to dig up a reaper artifact. Or something worse, like Zhentil that might be able to be made functional again and used by the Reapers.

I liked the beginning where he talks about a greater threat than the Reapers and how Starchild's logic makes sense but from there it's mostly fanfiction. The most laughable moment was when he showed Shepard vaporized and a text appeared "Being of Light". Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

this shodiswe guy is really getting on my nerves, comparing our methodical analysis to religion. This drives me up the wall, especially since, as a Deist, I am an agnostic atheist and I take nothing on faith. I rely on facts and analysis.

It really feels like projection when they call us a cult and a religion and compare us to the Catholic Church. No offense to believers, but I find it inflammatory.

Just try to remember how much fun it'll be if/when they're proved wrong.
Unfortunately, I suspect many of the trolls won't hang around for my gloating Posted Image

Or they'll start denying IT was planned and blame us for influencing BW on making IT a reality.

Which one? The "happy wheels" one, or the earlier one?

You don't need to be afraid of the happy wheels link, that's just a funny game I found today.

But for the love of god, don't press the earlier one. The only thing you'll ever get from it is nightmares.

even if we were to take the endings at face value, the "shepard lives" in the destroy ending is an impossibility.

there we were, we picked the choice, equipped the gun, pressed the ****ing trigger and then we blew the citadel sky ****ing hiiiigh!

in me2, we had armor, shields and the explosion was small scale when compared to this ball of fire in me3.

also we have no armor, no shields, we're weakened and no breather helmet.

possibility of survival: 0%

and yet, here we are alive and breathing in that scene.

That is great news! Now, if that procedure actually works, in the medical, scientific sense, then I hope it's better than all previous claims of having found cures.

So, no one is actually finding that strange? Nothing? Everything fine with that, cameras always work that way, our eyes are like prisms and we see white light in red green blue?

Rather keep talking about flash games an banshee camel-toes?

Guys, I'm behind on the thread since I'm working on the video, but I just realized something that I had to share. I'm still at the conceptualizing and storyboarding phase of my video, and mulling over subplots and themes (please PM me any ideas you have or post in the discussion board thread!), and I realized something about the Mordin/Genophage/Salarian/Krogan arc.

Which theme does that subplot arc fall under?

Control vs Freedom.

Salarians basically used Control on the Krogan, causing a massively depressing and regrettable storyline arc for the Krogan.

Now look at Mordin and the Salarians.

Mordin in ME2 is a character of deep insight and morals. One could say he symbolizes the better judgement of the organic perspective against the concept of Synthesis at some points, and the better judgement of the Freedom of growth over the Control of uplifting races.

Now look at ME3. The Salarians are continuing to make mistakes, trying to uplift races, only to have the Yahg literally burst out of their cages and wreak havoc. The Dalatrass is a complete tool. Now Mordin? He represents the voice of conscience for the Salarians, and sacrifices himself in the name of Freedom over Control.

That is some DEEP and subtle symbolism, there, folks. Blows my mind.
