Wouldn't it have been awesome if they actually could have taken it down? You know, if you've built up a massive army, then they actually succeed in destroying the Reaper. That would have been awesome to watch.
Would've been amazing to see, but realistically unless every one of them had Cains and other insane heavy weapons it seems futile to try and take down a Destroyer with just infantry. And without air support or artillery of some kind.
And yet a bunch of forces hiding under rocks carrying generic "Everything I've got" weapons manage to finish off that Destroyer after the previous attempt didnt even make it flinch. <_< Highly suspect.

Ok, this will be a bit off topic from IT.
I've been playing me3 again since my Internet went out ( posting On my iPhone). I just talked to Bailey for the first time. 3 things stood out to me. Udina hand picked him for the job, he didn't lobby for the job, and he is not too sure why he got picked ( though later he said it was for outing the former executor for illegal activity of some kind. Couple this with what we know from me2 I am now dAmn sure Bailey helped out Cerberus in some capacity during the coup. Didn't think so before.
On iPhone, Udina = urinal apperently.

Does anyone have new proof about the IT?? And not the infrasonic noise...something that hasn't been discussed. Otherwise I feel that we...I don't want to say it...have hit dead bottom of the proof barrel. *Shocked gasp* I seriously think that new proof has slowly been coming in less and less. (At least good proof) We need something new!!!!

Also, I highly reccommend checking out the "waterfalls of blood" in the chasm before meeting Illusive Man and Anderson. You can see them by turning around...

TBH this is one of the weirdest scenes in London for me.HellishFiend wrote...

I'd like to think it's because they're only screaming in Shepard's imagination, but I have no evidence to think that aside from already doubting the reality of London as it is.

You would not expect a Reaper because the whole reveal is that the Catalyst is the master behind the Reapers, not a Reaper himself. He is might be associated with the Reapers, but remember he is not one himself (perhaps that's your IT bias coming in
A computer-like voice could have been good, probably even better than the kid, but I don't think he is manipulating to choose destroy to get indoctrinated . As far as I am concerned, he is just making sure Shepard listens to him; if he presented himself as a Reaper, the idea that his evidence could be given objectively would have been in jeopardy.
The Catalyst is instrumental in making sure the Crucible works (the reaction in this case) but he cannot make the decision himself (the Catalyst can't be used up). His name fits.

IT MAKES NO SENSE that they would rage like that for real. maybe the 'your gonna pay for that!" works but damnn what is up with that screaming nonsense LOL
it has to be a hallucination

Vega's reaction works I guess since he's known him the longest, as for the others yeah it's really wierd. May be pent up stress coupled with being back on the ruins of Earth? Frustration losing one of their own crew? Maybe the voice actors were told it was going to be a different kind of scene? Your guess is as good as mine.

The melodrama of all 3 is quite consistent, leading me to believe it was intentional. One, or even two, I could understand, but all 3 being cheesy, poorly acted, and melodramatic? Someone told them to ham it up.
