Anyone have thoughts as to how Savage could tie in to SP? The "with so many planets conquered in Council space" bit implies they are deep into the storyline, but it is vague.

Arias mercenaries?

Yeah, seems likely, however you can do those at any point in the storyline, so we cant use that to narrow down the MP events to a specific point in the chronology.

Not exactly related, but I hope they add mercs as enemies (as well as collectors) so we can fight normal enemies with barriers.

Maye. Wait maybe the reason why they are doing operations is because the rate of how many missons we succed in depends on the total endings it's self. Think about it why would they let your MP characters go into the story line if they are not going to see them fight in the battle at Earth and why do they let us name our characters even though we don't seee there name. Plus when Shepard wakes up Bioware way us our Mp characters that we promoted to help retrive Shepard from enemy lines or they will support hammer in varies spots.

A nice thought but I highly doubt our characters' names will be in SP.

well maybe not there names but still I wonder if they will help Shepard in the Story line since they are 75 War assets point that are worth more than Shepard's squad ( which I find very messed up).

That would be really cool if they could tie MP into SP so profoundly. Not sure how they could do it without pissing off even more SP-only players than they already have, though...
Still, I personally think it would be nice!:D

*cough* Yeah, if I ever play ME3 again I still need to figure out a way to get the breathe-scene "legally"...MP? Never spend a single second on that...

My personal speculation by now is that MP was only implemented into ME3 anyway to keep the players occupied and tied to the franchise until the end is revealed...

Could mean they set Retake Omega at about now. Also I'm sure not everything is to solidify a specific point in the game.

Damn, Slenderman videos are scary! Scarier than what my brother posted here yesterday!

Great, now I'll probably have nightmares for the next few days!

Btw, BW uploaded new wallpapers on masseffect.bioware.com/images/wallpapers/ and the last pic is one that was already posted here in a smaller version by someone else.
The remark by that person was, that it had this stylistic presentation as if Shepard was on the Reapers side:

Posted Image

Another funny thing that got my hopes up too early was that I thought the lights on the Reapers were green. But it's only the sidelight, the other lights are still blue. So close...

But still, the choice for the cover is always Shepard with the Reapers in the background.
It might be because this is now the standard cover for generic FPS games.
On the other hand, we always had at least two of Shep's teammates on the two previous games' covers. But here it's only Shepard, the Reapers and the whole world.

It does make me think...

Reapers - Blue/Green
Shepard - Red

Well gee Watson, let me think about this for a moment

I remeber Casey said to watch out for clues about what happened at the end by pics, gameplay, and tweet's.

So if he is telling the trueth then the red ending is on SHepard's side because he his glowing red with his omitool blade, while the Reapers lights are blue, and green plus the Reapers themself look like blue, while the clouds look greenish.

If that's true, then there's a clue right there when you boot up the game and Bioware and EA show up on Shepard's red omnitool.

It would be funny to hear. N7 7777uuuuuuut reproting for duty sir.

Hackett: N7 7777uuuuuut who gave you that name.

Hackett: Um was your mom um drunk when she gave you that name

N7: No sir, but my farther was, and he wrote my name on my birth satificate.

Hackett: I thought it was your mom that ...oh was your father an Asari?

N7:....Yes.....

I have an exam tomorrow, and I'm currently reading through the tasks another class got in that exam before us. And there's one answer I'm not sure of, the question is "How does a DHCP Server know which client he has to contact" (as in, for giving him an IP adress).

Odd, I just noticed that there are what looks like paper scraps falling through the air in the Citadel Tower right before the final confrontation with Saren. They look almost exactly like what we see in the dreams and London in ME3. Anyone ever pointed that out before?

I have fun with it, naming them after my favorite characters in fiction, but Geth are more fun because I just name them something like UNIT 458394M4T9 just random numbers and letters like I imagine Geth would identify themselves as.

MAC Address

edit: http://en.wikipedia....hnical_overview

That section of the wiki covers the different ways DHCP can allocate addresses. In the context of TCP/IP protocol, until a client has an IP, the only way to communicate with it is by MAC Address.

The server has the MAC address of the client and with that he can identify it.

I named one in honour of the traitorous Major Coates.
If I end up fighting alongside Captain GobblesCoque in the SP ending I'll be very surprised indeed.

Question!

If Shepard is waking up on Earth after the beam hits him/her... Doesn't that means that the two squadmates you brought are most likely dead?

There's no way to tell?

That would kinda suck though, no?

"Congrats! You did the right thing and completed the game with SUCH a high score that we're going to kill your squadmates for some arbitrary reason..."
