Did I miss something in the last 24 hours?
Also, I had a dream featuring Slenderman tonight. o.O Not cool man, not cool.

I warned you people. But you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

You know the saying "curiosity killed the cat", right?
Also, pandora's box.

If a person explicitly tells you not to do it, it will only make it more attractive to do. In the end, curiosity will overcome you, and you will do it, even if you deep inside yourself know that it's wrong.

It's just basic human nature.

So did you see the Slenderman yourself? Posted Image

As far as I know, he's only been seen in the US thus far.

However, I will be going to the US next week...

OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! SLENDERMAN WILL KILL ME!

Wait, my sister's a soldier, so I'll probably be all right! She's allowed to carry a gun, so if Slenderman shows up, My sister will blow his faceless head off!

Just in case, I'll bring a cardboard box with me. Just so, you know, to be safe!

I'm not sure how much you know about the Slender Man, but people have rammed him with their car, and they woke up in their basement. That's right, they didn't even fall asleep. They just woke up from being awake elsewhere. Someone shot him, and it did nothing.

Also, in TribeTwelve I'm pretty sure he takes out a whole unit of ****s, so I'm not sure having a soldier with you will be of any use whatsoever. Posted Image

Looking for another suggestion, guys. If you were to play the role of an angry literalist and think of an insulting Shepard quote to point at Bioware over the ending debacle, which one would it be? Can be from anywhere in the series. Something like the one from ME1 where he tells Saren "Instead, you surrendered! You quit!"

Can anyone think of something more appropriate than that?

wtf? Does the word "ansatz" exist in English? Because that's German. :P

Looks like it's only among scientists and engineers, :pinched:
eigenvalue (ger. Eigenwert), ansatz (ger. Ansatz). Other examples are of course rucksack, kindergarten.

Those are not romance flashbacks. All those people have one thing in common. They are GUARANTEED TO BE IN THE STORY WITH SHEPARD SINCE ME1.

According to the game files it is: the third flashback is titled as "flashback_rom".

There's also ersatz, schadenfreude, weltschmerz. I know what eigenvalue is! Posted Image

Yeah, the constraint is "to be an LI" AND "to be with Shepard since ME1".

So I was thinking...

What if the ending sequence with the Starchild was just set in place by the real Catalyst or something to ensure that the one using it isn't indoctrinated?

Yeah...had no clue if those would be the events or not, hence the question marks.  But given the VS example, thought that might be appropriate places to look...

I always thought that the London goodbyes were very somber...the only one that I ever felt where my Shep was in character was with Miranda (its the only one where I feel like Shep comes across as having hope).

Yeah, I felt the London conversations were more like goodbyes. Like they knew you wouldn't come back. In the other two games there were no good byes. Expecially ME2. And that was a suicide mission!!!

Perhaps one of the renegade quotes from the TIM confrontation...

Hmm, I like it. Needs something to go before it, though.... I'm also thinking a renegade response to TIM is probably fitting, but I cant think of one off the top of my head...

"Cerberus was supposed to be humanity's sword not a dagger in their back."

Sorry, that quote was too poetic not to correct lol

Edit: but you could change Cerberus to BioWare or something

Weird stuff. Namely those low-res people running towards the Reaper, the child suddenly appearing (was looking directly at where he runs from) and the magically teleporting Reaper (he's much closer all of a sudden, then further back).

No idea what that's about :P

Shepard: We're on the brink of our F****** exstincion, and you would sacrifes our humanity to get your own personal gain.

Tim: That's NOT-

Shepard: Your selfish desiers to save humanity from the other speacies have all been for the Reapers own doing not your!

Tim- i just need t-

Shepard: YOU COULD HAVE FOUGHT  ANY TIME YOU WANTED TO  BUT INSTED YOU QUIT LIKE A FRITGHEN LITTLE B****!

and momunt's later

Tim: [Gun goes off] [ Tim is dead]

OR like Paxxton said

" Cerburs was suppost to be humanity's Vanguard, but instead it became a tool for the Reapers own gain.
