That was just Casey not being sure where the final save restarted you at after the ending.  But he meant you start playing at the Cerberus Base attack and that leads up to EC content.  

I'll stop being negative in this thread.  The interview just dissapointed me.  Keep the hope alive though.

Which makes sense. It is not a suprise if they come out and reveal it before the EC itself. Perhaps they even went one bit further with the vagueness this time to try and throw of us one last time...

I think the 2 GB compensates for the many different endings possible. Plus, the DLC people aren't able to "crunch" data to make it fit better, which is what they do on the original game disc. I'll be surprised if there is game play difference. They've said numerous times that EC will be just dialogues and cinematics.

The only new real information we have is the size of the DLC. Anything else is just the same thing Bioware has told us since March. Why are they going to spoil the surprise the week before EC is launched? No sense.

IT may be false, IT may be true. We won't know until next week. What we know is we are going to download a 2GB DLC. Even if IT is false I think we can be sure about EC being AWESOME.

This.  I hope people who beleive in IT don't let their belief soil how great EC will be.  EC will make the endings better and solve many of your qualms.  Give Bioware a break here, they have been working for months to give us free content because we felt hurt by the current endings.

I still can't understand why Bioware just don't come here and say "guys, EC does not involve anything about indoctrination, get over it and enjoy what we made for you". It doesn't have any sense at all... they could perfectly soft the blow...

Some thoughts:

The fact that the EC size is 20% of the original game size is a good sign. And I assume (somebody correct me if i am wrong) that there are plenty of assets already in the game, which would be used in the EC but wouldn't need to be part of the download.

The statements they're making do give me some worries, however it's pretty much what they've said the whole time, and I doubt they would want to spoil any surprises now if they haven't done so already.

Somebody should try to a dev on the record about whether or not the EC will have additional gameplay.

it was 1.51GB.

LOTSB was 1.52 GB from what I can find online. 

So at 2GB that's a lot of "stuff" for EC.    New Cinematics can take up a lot of that though.

The truth about the size is cinematics can take a lot of space. Still, all game cinametics (for all choices and possibilities) are 3.2 GB. So...
