Yeah, I've actually been working through another play-through myself, where I just finished up the Geth Dreadnaught. This is coming at a perfect time for me.

1.9GB. That's a lot of game.

I have my original perfect Shepard still parked at chronos after the endings so I'm pretty excited too since I'll be able to jump right into it.

Guys, relax. Ofcourse they will not acknowledge the IT.

There's no downgrade in IT possibility, it just the same as weeks ago.

They would spoil the whole experience if they released it with the date of the EC. We're supposed to play it as "OUR" Shepard, and we should discover it as "OUR" Shepard.

You wish. By the way, I replied to your constant nagging way back when and you never replied back. So I'll accept that as a concession on your part.

Did you really, due to your continued reluctance I didn't actually look at the thread. I shall view your comments now

No I didn't take it as a concession, I was just being a smartass since you said that to me so many times. So don't take it personally. I'm just teasing you.

You succeeded.

I really feel no ill will towards you. We just disagree about a video game ending. A disagreement about something that is kinda insignificant doesn't mean either party needs to be hostile.

I understand totally. I will try and shut up anyway until it actually comes out.

I just had a thought - Gamble tweeted that we were going to have really great weekends, but the EC doesn't come out until Tuesday, and I wouldn't say that waiting around with breathless nervousness and anticipation is all that much fun. So what's going on this weekend? Are they going to tie the weekend challenge to the EC in some way?

I don't really understand why suddenly all evidence, all theories, all discussion made in this thread about IT is no longer valid because Bioware released the same things they've been saying the last months attached to a release date.

We have 2 more things to discuss, everything else is the same story.

1) EC DLC is 1.9GB. Full ME3 is 10GB and all cinematics are 3.2GB.

2) We have a screen showing Joker and a transmission from Hacket "All Fleets: The Crucible is armed. Disengage and head to the rendezvous point."

This is how I feel about the issue. They'd hold the curtain closed and keep the illusion going until the last moment if IT is true.

I think LOTSB was 1.7 GB. Any sources for whether there'll be gameplay or not? Still hoping for IT to be right.

LOTSB was 1.52 GB from what I can find online.

So at 2GB that's a lot of "stuff" for EC.    New Cinematics can take up a lot of that though.

Thanks! Thanks to you too, monrapias. ^_^ I wasn't sure.

I think he was referring to the release date of the EC.

First picture there confirms Joker was ordered by Hackett to disengage the fleet. Fourth picture looks like a memorial aboard the crashed Normandy.

I mentioned that as a possible solution to the Joker-bailing-out-on-Shepard bit.:)

I don't however. Joker and crew don't leave Shepard, especially if he took the time to pick up my squadmates. I just see this as a cop out and INCREDIBLY out of character for Joker. But we'll see.......

Need to go for a while, got stuff to do.

But before I go let me say a few things to everyone in the IT thread.

We came from despair and sadness, out of a dark ending. But we refused to give up, we still saw light and we grasped for it taking every thread and facet of it and using it to ligt our saddened hearts.

Now this light migt soon engulf us or be snuffed out forever, but no matter what happens I believe we will always hold this light in our hearts.

On this forum, in this and th last thread we forged something truly uniquie, a bond I have never before seen on the internet. We have held our heads high through fire and water even as new people joined us and new rays of light reaches us.

Now we stand before the final reveal and whatever its outcome I will forever remember my time here.

Just remember, "Stand fast, stand strong, stand together."

Hold the line just a bit longer people, just a bit longer.

Which is admittedly not very scientific way of establishing the popularity of, not to mention people in those sort of polls are more likely to register their support tha not. They might gesture towards IT, although I'm sure how that would be done without it becoming a massive mess

Well obviously it's not, but that wasn't really my point. I don't really see how it would become a mess... I mean clearly a lot of people want black and white answers. IT supports want the EC to prove it, and literalists want it to be completely disproved. So Bioware will try to satisfy as many people as they possibly can. It's like they said, you can't make everyone happy but they're not going to debunk IT when they're fully aware of how established it is.

So, after all these months, we'll finally be put out of our misery in 4 short days...

I'm genuinely nervous. All I hope is that it makes sense and isn't terrible. Even if that means IT isn't true.

And I heard there was about 90 mins of total cinematic footage in the entire game. So 90 mins = 3.2 gb, then 1.9 gb = ??

Maybe 30 mins? Or maybe a mix with gameplay? Me hopes!

Only thing that would clarify is why there's no escort ships with the Crucible when its approaching and docking with the Citadel.  Which is good, but does nothing for the rest of the story.

I guess its because they are worried it would draw crossfire?

Well... This is it, isn't it?

In a few days, we will see what will happen. Will the EC save ME3, IT or not?

Or will ME3, maybe even the whole series, go down as a dark taint in gaming history?

Either way, we'll know it soon...

And a screen showing a memorial wall, which could arguably be for whatever squadmates you take to the beam honestly. Those white models could be placeholders for whoever is alive. Not every crewmember in that picture is going to be alive in everyone's game. I think we're jumping to conclusions that it's automatically Shepard that's dead.

You guys are right. Kinda got caught up in the emotion of all this sudden wave of information. Stepping back and looking at it again, you're right. We still have all this evidence and the fact that they wouldn't say it was IT in that interview anyway ... so not really sure what I was looking for. It was discouraging to hear them say "We didn't think about [the galaxy being destroyed]" or "Shepard's friends live on after his final choice" or "the biggest problem people had was letting go of the characters". Felt so disconnected to me, but you're right. Doesn't sway IT one way or another.
