Need to go for a while, got stuff to do.

But before I go let me say a few things to everyone in the IT thread.

We came from despair and sadness, out of a dark ending. But we refused to give up, we still saw light and we grasped for it taking every thread and facet of it and using it to ligt our saddened hearts.

Now this light migt soon engulf us or be snuffed out forever, but no matter what happens I believe we will always hold this light in our hearts.

On this forum, in this and th last thread we forged something truly uniquie, a bond I have never before seen on the internet. We have held our heads high through fire and water even as new people joined us and new rays of light reaches us.

Now we stand before the final reveal and whatever its outcome I will forever remember my time here.

Just remember, "Stand fast, stand strong, stand together."

Hold the line just a bit longer people, just a bit longer.

I see you channeled your inner Kirrahe. Nice. ;)

I don't really understand why suddenly all evidence, all theories, all discussion made in this thread about IT is no longer valid because Bioware released the same things they've been saying the last months attached to a release date.

We have 2 more things to discuss, everything else is the same story.

1) EC DLC is 1.9GB. Full ME3 is 10GB and all cinematics are 3.2GB.

2) We have a screen showing Joker and a transmission from Hacket "All Fleets: The Crucible is armed. Disengage and head to the rendezvous point."

And a screen showing a memorial wall, which could arguably be for whatever squadmates you take to the beam honestly. Those white models could be placeholders for whoever is alive. Not every crewmember in that picture is going to be alive in everyone's game. I think we're jumping to conclusions that it's automatically Shepard that's dead.

Anyone know who's that standing between Ashley and Garrus at the Memorial Wall?  Can't be Kaiden.  Whoever it is, they are reading off something in their hands.  Could it be Shepard?

Quite why someone would spoil something before release is beyond me.  So sorry, but I'm not going to pay any attention to statements like that.

Lol really? Can you show me where they said that?

They said nothing of IT as usual. As usual nothing has changed. Stop making drama. We have enough of that right now.

Plus, there is absolutely no reason why Shepard's death couldn't be one potential outcome even with IT. Frankly, I would be disappointed if her death isn't one of the possible ways the game ends.

I don't think so. Anyone else get a vague "bull****" feeling from the podcast? I mean, did they really think the endings were clear? How were we supposed to know Hackett ordered Joker to leave the fight? Sorry, but I'm not buying a lot of what they said. If IT is still true, then I think it will only be revealed to people who choose the right ending. Choose Control or Synthesis and you're left to believe the illusion. Call me desperate, but it's just a thought.

I think I'll let the game confirm or deny whatever we're supposed to interpret, since they said that the content will speak for itself.

Well considering the podcast was done by Mac and Casey, that "vague bull****" is rather commonplace.

Heh, it's true.  If anything, we should be considering the opposite of what they said as fact.

Why doesn't Bioware do that? They could come here and say "guys, come one, have been some awesome months of discussing, studying the game and the clues... but that's not what we intented. This Theory is completely false". No one said that. Doesn't make sense if it's indeed false.

Listening to the podcast " we couldn't change the ending, we wouldn't know how to write that story.. we're trying new ways of telling stories "

I'm sorry, but " new ways of telling stories" still screams IT to me.

Yeah, noticed that one, too.

EDIT: Oh boy, the forum policies have been updated again. That + "there will be a whole new wave of discussions [...] maybe even controversy."

There's nothing we can change about it now... All the new clues we'll find will also be pretty much pointless...

But let's see if we can bring this thread up to page 1000 before tuesday, shall we?

Hmm.... they could also mean people like Ieldra who came up with that crazy headcanon about Synthesis. He could be talking about literalists taking the ending... uh... literally. We're jumping to conclusions again guys. Come on, keep some level heads. This stuff is still really vague.
