Listen until 9:11. Uh... that's a bit scary.

Part of the audience... Could refer to any group... We are not the only ones discussing about the ending.

Exactly! Control and Synthesis support threads anyone?

But indoctrination was intended at one point.  In the very late stages.  There's evidence.  If he's referring to IT, how could he say that it was never intended?

Again, notice, no word on IT or even a hint on this subset of criticism in that interview...and Chris did post that poll with a clear result.
So, nothing's lost yet people. Hold the thread!

I don't really understand why suddenly all evidence, all theories, all discussion made in this thread about IT is no longer valid because Bioware released the same things they've been saying the last months attached to a release date.

We have 2 more things to discuss, everything else is the same story.

1) EC DLC is 1.9GB. Full ME3 is 10GB and all cinematics are 3.2GB.

2) We have a screen showing Joker and a transmission from Hacket "All Fleets: The Crucible is armed. Disengage and head to the rendezvous point."

And a screen showing a memorial wall, which could arguably be for whatever squadmates you take to the beam honestly. Those white models could be placeholders for whoever is alive. Not every crewmember in that picture is going to be alive in everyone's game. I think we're jumping to conclusions that it's automatically Shepard that's dead.

Anyone know who's that standing between Ashley and Garrus at the Memorial Wall?  Can't be Kaiden.  Whoever it is, they are reading off something in their hands.  Could it be Shepard?

Looks like Anderson to me.

Huh. Looks kinda like TIM to me... But it probably isn't.

If it is TIM, when I see that screen, I will throw my tv through the window.

You kidding? It'll be past page 1000 by the end of the day.

Its make or break moment. But not for us. This is Bioware's moment.

The IT community did more then enough, they found clues, hints, inconsistancies, hidden sounds, and then assembled them all into a very strong and coherent theory to explain it all. They fought off neighsayers and trolls, mostly in a very polite manner, and they admitted when they were wrong when evidence showed it.

If Bioware never intended IT, that is hardly the fault of the people here. Its Bioware's fault for making such a badly crafted ending to a truely epic story.

And if Bioware did intend IT, then they can go down in history of being the greatest game developer of all time.

If anything, Bioware is the one who's waiting for the 26th with baited breath. Waiting to see if its their truimpth, or the start of an even bigger ****storm.

IT was never intended and there was never "evidence" of it just a bunch of wishful thinking.

Hmm.... they could also mean people like Ieldra who came up with that crazy headcanon about Synthesis. He could be talking about literalists taking the ending... uh... literally. We're jumping to conclusions again guys. Come on, keep some level heads. This stuff is still really vague.

I personally think you're grasping at straws.

From how Bioware has been talking up the EC, it seems like they want us to take it literally.

The Extended Cut is an expansion of the current ending. Logically, IT would retcon all the established ending concepts. That's not an expansion. IT is not an expansion. Wake up people. I know all of you deep down inside have some doubt about IT. Stop setting yourselves up for disappointment and face the music.

Yeah, we'll be excited this weekend, but Bioware will have nausea from nervousness.

It definatly cant be TIM or Anderson since they both die and their bodies blow up with the citadel.

I have a little doubt creeping in too.  But, now's probably not the time to listen to Mac or Casey and take them at face value.  ;)

Well, whether it's Anderson, TIM or Shepard in that pic, that makes things very interesting.

If they're smart, they'll probably know which way to go.

I just don't see the point in supporting a company that is more moronic than a goddamn tree...

I will hand it to the people who supported IT. The clues you guys found was great. It shows how truly dedicated and awesome this fanbase is. IT will go down as the best and most popular headcanon.

You may be playing semantics, but indoctrination was most certainly considered and implemented to a degree inside the game.  Whether or not that results in the form of IT, we'll see, but they can't say they never considered just a thing.

Yes, that's a tad disheartening.  While he doesn't say Indoctrination Theory outright, it's hard to imagine him referring to any other group with an interpretation for him to disintend simply because we're (last I checked) the biggest.
