The Extended Cut will be available to download at no additional charge for Mass Effect 3 game owners starting on June 26 for PC and Xbox 360 customers worldwide. Playstation 3 customers in North America will be able to download the Extended Cut DLC on June 26 and the rest of the world on July 4.

So as a pc user I'll get it the 26th? even though I'm European?

I actually think that is theoretically possible.

I had almost 8000m EMS by the end with full MP. 4000 is the minum to get a perfect ending so maybe if you went for everything that gave maximum EMS you could get the best ending without MP.

I don't think that it is...unless they tweaked some of the asset numbers with an update...I haven't played much MP at all and I think that my highest TMS was like 7200...luckily I have access to the datapad app and boost my GR, so I can get the breath scene...

Well more to the point, he seems to indicate what we all have expected, which is the EC contains a comprehensive single player play through.

Although, I guess you could read that to mean the stuff you do before Cerberus since it says "before atempting to retake Earth" and that they just lowered the required EMS to get the best ending.

Yeah...first thing I did when I came to the web page and saw "Extended Cut" plastered all over the place...I didn't take much from it though, it still seems like stock answers that they are giving...not really "answering" anything, just making a general statement on the topic.

They want people to know that killing the mass relays does not lead to famine and death.  You can definitely take that away from the interview, that it specifically wasn't an interpretation they intended.

But I have heard them say that before...so it wasn't new to me...I guess that's what I meant more than anything.

Other than that, the rest of it was pretty much the same stuff we've heard from the start about the EC, just from the horse's mouth.

Maybe they're going to be discussing the endings and Indoctrination Theory.  Or, if since it will be proven by that point, the Law of Indoctrination (You know, because it will have graduated at that point from being a scientific theory to a scientific law.)

hey, what if Retake Omega has been slipped into the EC? That would add more EMS for people without internet or who don't want to play the MP.

Should be fine.  Means they are leaving in the weird aspects before after the beam, meaning they were completely intentional.

A lot of things before the Beam are shifty and full of weirdness all the way back to Chronos (Coats broadcasts infrasonic? Wut?) so no, it's not an IT-killer yet.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit, honestly.  I think I said something to that effect when Gamble first said he was throwing something akin to a presentation together for SDCC.  But if they're not going to have the EC hanging over their heads, then they've got to be talking up something else "big" ... and I think that's where the movie might come in.

Or, they might chat about the overall experience with the extended cut. Who knows.

You know what would be crazy in the EC when Shepard is almost knocked out Harby says " and now it begins"

That would help IT if similar content is in there, and could explain why Harby leaves.

Hmm...So if im about halfway done with my recent ME2 playthrough (finished Horizon) do you think I can get to to Chronos station before EC comes out? especially if I do all the N7 missions in both 2 and 3?

That would be awesome.

However, thinking practically, I sincerely doubt BioWare and EA would pass on the opportunity to profit from a Shadow Broker-like experience like that. 

I'm more than willing to be proven wrong.

I think that's a mistake, Jessica Merizan confirmed reuniting with your crew is possible. Closure should also be after the beam... I think the guy typing that made a mistake. Probably wanted to say "after" and not "before". Doesn't make sense. IT or not.
