I got a list a mile long for things I'd love to see in Dragon Age. Mostly what happened to former companions and finding out more about the different countries. Tevinter in particular sounds interesting to me and not just cause I'm writing random blood mage adventures.

As for the story, I think Gaider and his team have that covered and won't waste folk's time with my large list of ideas and directions it could go. Though I would like the Anderfels and Nevarra to be included. Those two countries have been completely silent in all this ruckus. What's going on in those parts of the world?

Speaking of the world, is there more to it then the continent of Thedas? The Qunari came from somewhere after all. I'd love to know this as well. :)

- Flemeth and Sandal get mentioned a lot. Funny, because I see them as two polar opposites.

Flemeth's role and goal should definitely be dealt with. Throughout DAO and DA2 you get the sense of an overarching major plot and to sweep it under the carpet would be anticlimactic.

Sandal on the other hand is a minor, in-joke character and, personally, I don't really need to be told anything about him. He just is that way, no answer is needed, just as I don't need to know which was the biggest monkey head Guybrush ever saw.

Giving answers on Flemeth is shedding some light on a crucial mystery of the setting, doing so on Sandal is like explaining a joke (and ruining the punchline in the process).

- Morrigan and his baby definitely deserve a mention or a cameo, if not a role to play - which I understand would be a problem, because not all players chose the ritual.

- The Mages/Templars plot is interesting, but not as the main conflict of the story. I hope it will play a role similar to the Genophage in Mass Effect 3: an important storyline, just not the focus of the game.

I had some questions but others asked them before me,right now ı only want a straight answer for this question:

-Will the race options(and if possible origins) return?

I would like to see the world from more of origins, but with DA2 graphics and lead character able to talk.I know there was dlc that you played as lelianna and it would be nice to have her as the main character going in search of the champion of ferelden and hawk and see a different area(s) of the DA universe. Also the one lady questioning the dwarf telling the story(can't remember names) appearing here and there would be nice.

- Origins
- Deep Exploration of the region, or regions, chosen.
- Spears
- Learn more about the overarching story e.g. Flemeth
- If Dragon Age 3 is about the Templer/Mage War, then it will be interesting to have Orlais and Tevinter regions to visit.
- Weapon Sets from Dragon Age Origins, one click from bow to sword or primary to secondary weapon.
- Non Combat Skills

Love Bioware, own both DAs, ME1-3, I have bought BW points for ME3, etc. but I think:

Bioware should end the DA franchise. It really has very, very little to differentiate it from the many other successful fantasy RPGs out there. I mean really, do we need another generic W. European fantasy setting? Especially when so, so many other cultures/mythologies go totally ignored? I think not.

Suggestions: Have another go at creating a campaign world that is more different from standard fantasy than just "ooh! People don't like magic and Templars rule the show!" (ahem... *Dark Sun!*... ahem...)

Make a Jade Empire 2!

A DA type game set in Greek  / Sumerian Myth

A DA type steampunk / shadowrun rip off

A DA type game set in Atlantis, on Pangea. Make us fight dinosaurs, etc.

A DA type game set in a savage, pre-tech society. Or modeled after a modern Amazonian culture: Defend your way of life against technologically superior / magic using enemies.

Lots of ideas out there guys. Why would you decide that the DA world is worth expanding, but not Jade Empire? Jade Empire is more original in every way, and I'm not even a huge fan of it...

Just trying to offer constructive suggestions; no flames or offense of any type implied.

Best,
--Ben

You can fight one in the demo. Even ride it, briefly. Though you're stabbing it most of the time you're riding it.

Well Everquest 2 beat everyone to ridable griffons. But they left the stabbing part out for some reason.

Though I do like Dogma's method of getting you on the thing.

1.) What's the truth about the Maker, Andraste, the old gods and the origins of the darkspawn.

There is so much potential for, including what seems like numerous hints at, something truly original and creative. A narrative exploration on the nature of faith, the origins of religions and mythologies, how history is written by the winners, etc.

Honestly, I am going to be even more disappointed in the Dragon Age franchise than I was with DA2 if it turns out the version told by the Chantry about the Maker, Andraste and origins of the darkspawn is even like 50% correct.

I would like to know what happened to Hawke, Anders, Flemeth, Morrigan, Cole and Corypheus. It would also be curious to find out what happened to the Warden, OGB and the Architect, but they are all dead/non-existent in my saves. I like the idea of the next game being set in Orlais and dedicated to the mage-templar war.

I would like to learn the following regarding the lore:
- Why do dwarves have no mages and what was the Primeval Thaig?
- What is "the Stone lives beneath Orlais" supposed to mean?
- How are spirits and mortal souls different exactly? Are they different at all?
- What is the Black City? How darkspawn really came to be?
- More information about the somniari (dreamers)
- Where did the Qunari come from? Is there another continent?
- Where do the eluvians lead to? Is there another dimension?
- How can the blood of the dragons be the blood of the world? What did Yavana mean?
- More shady stories about Grey Wardens (like the one with Corypheus), please.
- And more mind control and the like.
- What happened to Arlathan? If all elves were mages (Merrill claims that), how did they lose the gift?
- How is red lyrium different from lyrium?
- What is "the music" that various characters hear and/or emit, what is the difference between the "darkspawn song" and the "lyrium song"?
- Was Andraste a mage?
- What is the structure of the Templar Order and the Seekers exactly? How do they normally interact with the Chantry officials?

Apart from Orlais I would like to visit Tevinter, Seheron and Rivain.

As much as I want "answers" I don't necessarily want things laid out in cut and dry, black and white terms, especially for things that are ancient in the history of the world. I just want more possible and plausible "answers" presented to the player in a more direct way of showing and not telling.

I liked how the Sacred Ashes quest worked for instance. You clearly see supernatural crazy stuff going on firsthand. You can't deny that stuff is happening. But you're given sort of equally valid possibilities as to the "how" of whats going on- is it actually something divine or is it just something due to lyrium? Its left open ended and  neither side can be necessarily viewed as the "right." answer.

I don't necessarily want everything said by the Chantry to be 100% correct, but I also don't want 100% of it to be debunked so the player is forced to go around calling religion a fraud. Leave it 50/50 but where the game gives you enough solid evidence both ways for the player to make up their own mind as to whats going on.  So after seeing certain events and evidence, the player character can feasibly go around espousing the virtues of the Chantry's teachings just as much as they can say they're wrong and there would be evidence to support and refute both avenues.

And like somebody else mentioned, I'd like to learn more about whatever research Avernus/the Architect was doing into the power of the Taint and how that affects the Wardens, as was hinted at in the one side quest in DA2.

That is all.

Reavers! I want to know the history of the reavers, how they learned their powers, if they're related to blood mages and if the Chantry plans on doing anything about them.

More history of the Dalish uncovered as well as what happened with the Tevinter Empire.

Also Morrigan and the god baby.

Oh, good one!

Yep, being to much of a cliffhanger in DA2 this really needs to be adressed to and resolved in DA3.

Avernus/the Architect/Nathaniel in the deep roads/Papers that need to be secured; for what? Some answers please BW.

They set themselves apart by having a female dominated religious order. It changes the entire fabric of society by having it be normal to have women in power. Most fantasty games don't have that at all.

Guess I'm late to the discussion as several of my opinions have already been mentioned. Even this has been said but I'll say it again, if there is a new DA I would hope it is more like DA:O with a , I hate saying this, Skyrimish open world to travel and explore. No more clicking a map to enter a "zone".

I would like to know more about eluvians.
What was a result of Merril's research? How eluvian can be restored? In what places do they lead?

Thanks for the wonderful games.

I tried out the demo last night, I had to stab it in the arse a few times to kill it lol.
