And I'd like to learn more of the origins of the Qun'ari since in the game DA 2, it's hinted they appeared out of nowhere.
Though I haven't read the books so if it's in anyone of them, forget I said anything.

Honestly, I am going to be even more disappointed in the Dragon Age franchise than I was with DA2 if it turns out the version told by the Chantry about the Maker, Andraste and origins of the darkspawn is even like 50% correct.
As much as I want "answers" I don't necessarily want things laid out in cut and dry, black and white terms, especially for things that are ancient in the history of the world. I just want more possible and plausible "answers" presented to the player in a more direct way of showing and not telling.
I liked how the Sacred Ashes quest worked for instance. You clearly see supernatural crazy stuff going on firsthand. You can't deny that stuff is happening. But you're given sort of equally valid possibilities as to the "how" of whats going on- is it actually something divine or is it just something due to lyrium? Its left open ended and neither side can be necessarily viewed as the "right." answer.
I don't necessarily want everything said by the Chantry to be 100% correct, but I also don't want 100% of it to be debunked so the player is forced to go around calling religion a fraud. Leave it 50/50 but where the game gives you enough solid evidence both ways for the player to make up their own mind as to whats going on. So after seeing certain events and evidence, the player character can feasibly go around espousing the virtues of the Chantry's teachings just as much as they can say they're wrong and there would be evidence to support and refute both avenues.
I have my own pet theory on what "really happened" in regards to the Maker, the Golden City, Tevinter, old gods and dragons, darkspawn, elves ancient lost magical knowledge, the Fade and the dwarven lack of gods / resistance to lyrium / inability to enter the fade/dream ... but I'm not saying I have to be RIGHT about those.
Nor that religion NEEDS to be debunked (this IS a fantasy setting with clear magic, after all)...
Just that what BioWare has created with Dragon Age is the possibility at using tropes of high fantasy, turning them on their heads, and delivering something very unique and special. It's in the mix, but it could easily be lost either by leaving everything ambiguous or by ending up with everything being as straightforward as the myths and legends tell (Chantry, dalish, etc.) More than anything they have the chance to show how history and myth can be perverted over time by those in power.
I love the world as it exists - no matter how much the game design and story of DA2 was a major let down, Thedas still draws me in and I'm hopeful against hope that BioWare turns it around with DA3.
So I want to see answers and a clear path. Not everything written out in detail, no, but I'd like the hints and clues to be dropped that clearly point to a unique history and not the generic, cliche'd fantasy fare that Dragon Age appears to be at its surface level.
EDIT - And I'm still not clear enough. I'll try and be more precise.
I sincerely hope the Chantry version of what happened (Golden City, Maker turning his back, Andraste) is mostly wrong BUT based on kernels of truth, enough that it's easy to see how the story was morphed over time. Ther can clearly BE a Maker deity, or many deities, or whatever... but the Chantry version, as told, with all the things you can learn in the games and supplemental materials, should be mostly fabricated.

I also noticed that Mass Effect 3 toned down the RPG features by increasing the amount of auto-dialog and limiting the conversation wheel to only two options.
Our writing style will be similar to DAII, though not exactly alike; more on that when we have something to show. So, no, not a ton of autodialog.
Ok...just want to say you made my day!

I would like to know what Corypheus is up to and what he meant when he said the Golden City was already corrupt when they entered. Was it really the Golden City and if so, why was it already corrupt?
I would like to know what happened to Sebastian. Did he ever go back to Starkhaven?
I would like to know a bit more about how the whole spirit/demon thing works. Cole is one of my new favorite characters, I really enjoyed Asunder and his perspective was particularly interesting because I was never certain what he exactly was. He's not humanoid, but he was powerful enough to manifest on his own. Justice had to inhabit a corpse, and later Anders in order to interact with "real" world.
I would love to see more of those wacky qunari. Mostly because I love their new art design (kossith) and conversations with them are entertaining as heck. ("I find I have a growing lack of disgust for you.":) Their culture/religion is interesting and I'm often conflicted on how I feel about it. So more qunari interaction would be most welcome.
Tal-Vashoth are just as nutty, due to being former qunari, so that would be equally entertaining.
More knowledge about what ever happened to Arlathan and where it is located would be cool. And what's up with those mirrors. Do the corruption of the mirrors and the corruption of the Golden City have anything to do with one another? And how is Merrill doing?
I would like to visit Tevinter some day to see what a society that is ruled by mages is really like... I'm guessing it's not pretty but it's still interesting.
And last but certainly not least, I want to know more about Flemeth and a bit more about who/what she is. Maybe not the whole story, but a nice size chunk of info would be cool. She is awesome!

1). Kal Sharok and dwarves in general. For me, the dwarves were the most interesting race in DA:O, simply because their society was dwarvish but without to many clichés. An ideal mixture of traditional fantasy standards and a darker, more realistic image of ancient societies. And Kal Sharok could be an interesting place, because you'd be able to discover more about it's conflict with Orzammar and the strange customs of the local dwarves by visiting it.
2.) The Grey Wardens. Yeah, they are a bit of a standard fantasy order of knights in shining armor who fight all evil. But they also were one of the most important story parts in DA:O and DA:A and shaped the feeling of this game/addon. I personaly think that they therefore deserved a bit more attention-the player character doesn't have to be a warden him/herself, but their involvement in the world's fate should definitely be mentioned in a proper way. Could also be interesting if there were internal quarrels among the wardens or similar things about the mage/templar war and which side is the right one.
3.). Darkspawn history and talking darkspawn: Was especially interesting in DA:A (and probably Legacy, did'nt play that one). The talking darkspawn had lot's of potential, which wasn't used enough because the addon's story was to short. For me it's a quite fascinating part of Thedas to see how this evil came into the world and how much of the Chantry's and other stories about it is true (or false).
I hope my English is understandable, I'm from Germany^^

I flubbed the due date on the DA2 Signature Edition so I had to settle for the standard game, but soon copies of it everywhere a couple of days after release. I didn't think that was very fair because if I would've just not pre-ordered at all and come back a few days later, I'd have been able to get all the extra freebies for the same price. When Mass Effect 3 came out, Sears/Kmart cancelled my pre-order the day after release and didn't refund my money immediately, so again I missed a collector's edition. It'd be nice to just know that I'm getting an nice bonus piece of the game for buying new, regardless of what kind of bad luck I encounter in purchasing it.

The history is worth investigating. David has said that there may come a time when Dragon Age games are no longer set during the Dragon Age, and given that, why not go backward? The Glory Age or the Black Age. There are bound to be good stories there.

I would like to continue to learn about the different ways the various peoples in the game interact and differentiate from each other in their customs. Loosely connected to this I don't want to see whole genders cut out of future games (female Dwarves).
Tevinter would be interesting I suppose, but I feel it treads a lot of ground we've already seen, both in DA and otherwise. Offhand I would prefer to see an Orlais, Nevarra, and Anderfells based game (any combination of those three). Particularly Orlais, I think the pomp and ridiculousness of the culture there would be fascinating to see intermingling with the more traditional fantasty world elements of the series.

1. The thaig from Act I in DA2. What was it and why was it like that? Why did it have idols and rock wraiths?
2. Sandal! I want to know everything about Sandal, where he came from, what's his story, why is he the way he is?
3. An elven uprising, maybe? Elves are so downtrodden, and if the Warden was an elf, then the Warden could rally their fellow elves.
3. What are the Grey Warden up to? I want to know!
4. I really really want to see my Warden and Hawke. Also Merrill. Even if only for a little bit, I want to see them so badly.
5. Obviously, the deal with Flemeth and Morrigan and the god-child, if he was born.
6. More about the old gods. They clearly exist, and I want to know more!
It would be super-cool if somehow the mage vs. templar debate and darkspawn somehow tied in together... so then Origins and DA2 would be more continuous.

I would like to see in the next game qunari life in their homeland. Yes, the wedding traditions also cause curiosity, especially when seen through the eyes of the protagonist. I like this non-standard direction in the series. In a series of much talked about Tevinter, elven buildings below ground mirrors (which has gone through it, Morrigan?), The cities of the elves. I understand that this is discussed in one way or another, but the question itself does not disappear from it. It would be interesting to learn about this part of history anymore, or beat her with his character.

What kinds of things would you like to discover and learn about the Dragon Age world?
Okay so after having thought about it since yesterday when you posted this I want to give my 2 cents. So in a world where the Dragon age team is developing dragon age 3 purely for me this is what I want to explore:
First of I need to get some sort of closure on why both Hawke and the Warden is missing. I’m not asking for some picket fence ending but if I am to die peacefully someday I need it resolved somehow. They did a similar thing to the hero in NWN2 and the expansion and it still haunts me to this day what happened to her. I just hate when game companies do this to the protagonist. It doesn’t have to be a happy ending even though I would of course love that since I think the Warden and Hawke have been through enough. You don’t even have to make it super clear and obvious just hint to me what happened alla “and some said she lived the rest of her days in mountain cabin with her lover” whatever just give me straw I can cling to.
Secondly I would loooove to explore the culture of whatever place we go next. If we go to Orlais for example I want to be able to play a high society lady navigating the game, going to masquerades and so forth. What I loved about playing human noble in origins was that throughout the game I felt what it meant to be young noble lady in ferelden from dodging Howe’s attempt to arrange my marriage, to flirting with Teagan, to having to constantly be confronted with the fact that I was “Couslands youngest” plus the special option it gave me at the landsmeet. I would love Antivan weddings especially if I get to play an active part in it, participating in whatever customs this entails. I don’t know if I’m really putting this in the best words but in a sense I would like to explore more of the mundane day to day life of being the character with her background and in her setting and context.
Thirdly I want explore relationships to other characters more freely, deeper and as developing. Even though I preferred the origins way of interacting with your companions, I do feel that the potential in DA2 of having ten years is amazing and it was a main incentive for buying DA2. But I did feel that we were not able to develop the relationship as much as the time period potentially allowed. We had the same depth of origin relationships just extended over ten years. I mean think how far a real life relationship can go over 10 years – marriage, kids, etc. So being able to something a little beyond boy mets girl, boy likes girl would be interesting. This goes for the non romantic relationships too though – I loved having a whole family in DA2.
I’ll stop here its getting very long XD
And cudos for this initiative – I feel very heard and included
PS. GO GO GO MORRIGAN GOD CHILD! (I WANT TO PLAY THE GOD CHILD

2. Morrigan, Flemeth and OGB.
3. The Hero of Ferelden and Grey Wardens.
4. Red Lyrium.
5. Sandal.
6. Finally, as Dumats temple still "works" is He still alive? If so, who was killed as the first Archdemon.
