What if they brought the Warden back as a companion In DLC?
You know kind of like they did the exiled prince with Sebastian. only with your warden (or hawke) as a companion In DLC, and have their personal questlines adressed through DLC. That way they can still continue a whole new storyline, and by purchasing the DLC they can give the players the personal satisfaction of character fufillment without pissing everyone off. Just a thought.

That could even be a level/encounter, to be honest. The naming of a qunoral vehl could be just as much of a fight scenario as the Qunari invasion in DA2.

1. More on the background lore, the old gods, the forgotten ones, the forbidden ones, lyrium (red and blue), the fade, the black city, Arlathan.
2. Location wise I'd like to see Tevinter and Rivain.
3. Who is Flemeth and what is she doing?
4. Closure to Hawke's story, the end of DA2 seemed more like a beginning or at least a turning point.
5. Closure to the old god baby and Morrigan, the Warden too if you want given a lot of people would want that.

1) for a return to the manipulation and complexity of origins.
----Just recently I have been replaying origins, awakening, and 2 in order to create the perfect savegame for 3, one thing that struck me was just how much the persuasion system, and the conversations in general, regressed from origins to II. When I think about how involved each response had to be for me to get the outcomes I wanted, and how much a single mistake could change the game (think alistairs sister in origins, depending on how you talk to alistair later it can almost completely alter his character.) It was more of a rush than the battles.
2) For people to react to my class!
-----I love blood mage, even the nerfed version in DAII. But it bothers me that nobody seems to notice. I dont hear Alistair or Wynne, who would undoubtly recognize and object, arguing with me. In DA2 I remember a conversation where it was possible to admonish another character about the dangers of blood magic, despite the fact that I was a blood mage. I never even got the option to say, "Hey, I am a blood mage." (Dont even get me started on how blood mages should be able to summon demons)
Besides those two things, there were few other things that bothered me. I think that the way armor and weapons was done in origins was better than DA2 as well.
Come to think of it, the only two things that I thought were better in DA2 than DA:O was magical combat and the fact that the hero could talk.

Story and gameplay segregation is definitely something they need to improve on.

Gameplay is the most important part of the story.

Hearing more about Tevinter's slave trade, and Shartan, would be wonderful as well.
I'd also love to explore Kal Sharok and return to Orzammar. I'd like to learn more about the relationship elves and dwarves had in Cadash Thaig, as well as about dwarven resistance to magic. More backstory on caste relationships would be great too.
I'd like to learn more about the origin of magic, and the unique relationship between mages and the Fade. Also it would be wonderful to hear more about Rivaini seers, Chasind shamans and other non-Chantry mage societies.
And I'd especially like to be able to do this with race options...the potential to explore Kal Sharok as a dwarf or Arlathan as an elf, for example, would make it so much more meaningful, IMO.
Thank you, Mr. Priestly, for soliciting ideas on this topic!

set foot in there. (ie: How did they go about doing the ritual and who
was involved.)
- Who made the Primeval Thaig, what is it's purpose and when was it built.
- What exactly is Flemeth, what else was she involved in throughout history and what is her purpose.
- When the Blights are stopped and the last Archdemon is killed, what will happen?
- The real story/motives behind the Chantry and The Templars (if there is a hidden agenda).
- What is Sandal? An idiot savant or something more?
- I want to learn more about The Old Gods, The Creators,Arlathan,The Forgotten Ones, The Maker, Demons and The Fade.
- I want to see Dalish elf clans in other lands and if their stories/customs vary from that of the clans in Fereldan.
- I want to learn more about the Chasind; their customs, rituals, and stories. Maybe have a Chasind companion to give us more insight or let us visit one of their camps.
- I want to visit the following places: Orlais, Tevinter Imperium,Weisshaupt, an area past the Hunterhorn Mountains, The Uncharted Territory,Kal Sharok, The Sea Of Ash,Par Vollen, Antiva, Arlathan Forest, and The Donarks.
- I would like to meet the Fex.
- I would like to encounter new enemies.
- I want to know what happened to Morrigan. Maybe run into her.

A deeper look at Thedas' history, especially how the First Blight came to be. I suppose that (unfortunately) the setting would profit from much of this remaining shrouded in mystery, yet surely there are some snippets you could throw us.
This includes a few more glimpses at the story of the Black City. I'm also curious about Tevinter in general and how it was founded, or the truth about Andraste.
Clans and customs of the Avvar tribes. Even more than the relatively moderate Chasind Wilders, the Avvar people are true oldschool barbarians that live right next to the people of Ferelden, yet little is known about them. The Dragon Age P&P provided some info and it's easy to fill up most blanks with real life comparisons to vikings etc, yet I'd be quite interested in the usual "BioWare twist".
Hierarchy, organization and rituals of the Templar Order. There are a number of inconsistencies between various products (especially concerning their ranks and leadership) that would need to be ironed out, and I would generally welcome some more insight into this organization as I feel that its role and reputation has great potential for providing allies as well as antagonists for the player. Most importantly, have all the Templars split from the Chantry, or is there an internal shism?
Rivain. I'd love to know more about Isabela's home as it sounds like a pretty interesting place. What customs do they have over there? How do people fare without oppression of their mages, and what is their secret about "benign possession"?
Speaking of, the elves seem to have a few secrets on how to work magic safely, too. Is this a ritual thing or does this have to do with spirituality and/or biology, seeing that an elf "changes" a bit (doesn't live as long) depending on proximity to humans? Is it just cultural taint or some kind of curse?

PLACES/SETTING: I really want to see Orlais (and Antiva and the Tevinter Imperium and Rivain, but not quite as much). I love how political and extravagant and how... vibrant everything seems in Orlais, how colorful -- particularly when talking to Leliana. If DA3 is really centered there, I'd also like Val Royeaux to actually FEEL like a hoity-toity city, with lots of people bustling around, intrigue, life everywhere. I liked Kirkwall, but... it didn't seem like a city. It was too lifeless, too empty. I definitely wouldn't mind waiting for a new engine to make that possible, either.
POLITICAL INTRIGUE/CHOICES: Anyway, I'd really like DA3 to be more political, less... "Oh, Hawke, you have a letter! Go to this place and kill stuff and you'll get money!" I'd like to really get down into all kinds of aspects of the events that are going on, and... actually have my character's choices make a big impact. The landsmeet and Orzammar were some of the most enjoyable questlines of DAO because of that, and because of how political they were.
CULTURE: ditto what people have said about wanting to go to an Orlesian masquerade ball, wanting to witness a dalish wedding, festivals, etc. Details like that make Dragon Age feel more real, and infinitely more fascinating.
CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION: err, I'd like the customization for females to be.. less.. err.. restrictive. Also, it was really difficult to make an attractive, non-default female Hawke in the last game. Those hairstyles... bah. I just want to be able to do more. To not have to settle for a generic-looking character if you decide you don't like the default look.
PARTY COMPANIONS/ROMANCE: I'd like to be able to talk with my party companions when I want to -- not have 2 minute pre-determined conversations, like in DA2. I absolutely adored just listening to all the companions in DAO go on about their lives, their worries, their backstories... it gave the game life, gave THEM life. I really hope romancing is more along the lines of DAO as well -- I felt so restricted as to what I could do with Hawke's romanced companion, how I could only talk to them when the game would let me. For Anders and Fenris (I've romanced both of them), it didn't feel... deep enough, not the way romancing Alistair (
In any case, thanks so much for giving fans a forum for discussion.

- More about Orlais in general, especially the political game which everybody plays. Bards, intrigue and ballroom dances!
- Dark Ritual. I don't care about Morrigan, I don't care about the baby, however the biggest problem with the entire choice being offered at the end with little to no exposition is that any consequence of the decision is unforseen. The opportunity to learn more and potentially strive to stop it (if it occured) would help.
- The purpose behind red lyrium beside making everyone insane.

Also, as a fan of the series, I had a friend of mine do a commission for me. Here is the link to it....
http://fav.me/d4xvh3x
For the plate armour that the warrior/templar/berserker is using, will we see those kind of designs especially for warrior sets? Also, will we also see some awesome 2-handed weapons (swords
It would also be kinda cool if you could get a chance of developing the background of the DA3 protagonist, like the one of the commission my friend developed. A possible origin story is that you are a member of the Seeker Order, and yet you are begining to see the ignorance of your side and its flaws, especially with how mages are treated and what not. Even defend them against your own fellows. Read the description below the link to the commission, youll get what i'm trying to go for.
Also, it would be cool if there is a chance, especially with you being kind to mages or whatnot, to stop the war and bring peace to Thedas once more, especially between the Mages and Templars. Maybe even bring great change, even to the point of changing the extreme measures that are taken against mages.
Oh, it would be great to see Alistair, Varric, Isabella, Aveline, Talis, Cassandra, Leileina again.

------
Also I like "not to see" new concepts and theories at the last minute. For exp: organic vs. synthetics wasn't the theme of ME series from the beginning, but BW has inserted that at the last minute in ME3. So please use mages vs. Chantry theme as the basis for your story in DA3 and end the game while maintaining that basis.
------
At the ending of the game please try to provide at least one of the following.
Affirmation - We saved the world; The evil is defeated; People celebrate the hero etc.
Explanation - Making sure all questions have answers and every thing make sense. Such as what happened to The Warden and Hawke. What is the place Morrigan went (through a mirror) at the end of DA1?
Closure - How did things turn out? Did the characters have a happy ending or not? etc.
------
I like to see Orlais as the main location in DA3. Specially "Val Royeaux", "Halamshira" and "Montsimmar". Personally I like to imagine Orlais is some what similar to Italy during the Renaissance. So I like to see more things that are related to the culture, society and politics in Orlais.

1) Tevinter, how does blood magic play into the society.
2) I not sure if this has been proven wrong but- Is Fiona Alistair's mother?
3) Ander's real name
4) Sandal ability to take out full hoards of creatures single handed - can't be just from pure awesomeness.
5) Dwarves can't cast spells so why is there genlock emissaries?
6) Is there new forbidding magics that we could explore?
7) Will we see more on Rhys/Evangeline?
8) Will there ever be some form of a stealth mechanic put in the game for silent kills? (Awesome for rogues)
9) Will we see more of Sebastion? Not a big fan of him but interested how his return after Kirkwall will play out.
...and a lot more but this is good for now. XD

I would also like to see what became of the Disciples and the Architect's plans.
More time in the fade certainly couldn't hurt, even if the Black City remains off-limits for another game.
Corypheus' story would of course be an awesome one to continue, what with his Jedi mind-trick at the end of Legacy,
And finally, I'd really like to see more interaction with Demons. Speaking to them is always the most interesting part of the series to me, and usually the one with the more interesting moral implications.

2. What happened to Avernus' research (assuming you let him live). He had already managed to postpone the Calling far beyond the normal human lifespan AND got Grey Wardens a bunch of new sweet abilities (I ordered him to make do without test subjects, but he already has discovered a lot, in fact I really w)ould have liked it if you could have used his research on Alistair and the new Grey Wardens in Awakening.)
3. A bit more information on the Maker, Andraste, Old Gods, elven gods and magic. I'd really like to know how a god who unleashes the darkspawn on the world and then leaves becomes popular. Yeah, Andraste overthrew the Tevinter Imperium after the first Blight but after the second it should have been pretty clear that it wasn't a punishment for some nosy magisters but for everybody else. Aside from the darkspawn all proof of the Maker's existence is in Andraste's tomb, among them one immortal guardian. One has to wonder why he didn't make Andraste immortal if he liked her that much. And how exactly does magic work? Why are there so many ways for non-mages to work magic? And what is this realm beyond the Fade Morrigan and Justice talked about?
4. What is Flemeth? What is her relationship with the Dalish elves? Unfortunately the maybe only person besides her who knew that let herself be possessed and killed.
