Hi everyone Well there s just so much to hope for this game so I’ll try to dissect and order everything as much as possible.

History related :
*Will we be able to witness some of the great events Thedas like the exalted march, the blackening of the golden city, the creation of the different countries etc ….by some mean of magical preservation, like we drink the content of special phylacteries that make us see what the holder of this blood saw, and all conserved by a secret society who aims to protect the world... or any means of witnessing like books or stories works too, just know more and more, build up your world (which is already really great thanks to the authors, praised on them).

Place related :
–                   Black city, will we see it ? ( even from a distance)
–                   The long lost city of the elves under the earth, will we visit it ?
–                   The different countries will we go there ?
–                   The wardens HQ ?
–                   Will new countries rise or be discovered ?
–                   Will we discover new things in the deep roads ? And will it have changed a lot ? (like reconstructed
depending on choices)
–                   Will we see places unheard of ?

Gameplay related :

-Will we have a fiefdom of sorts and be able to really manage it, have quests related to it, see the results of what
we do, and will it have any consequences on the story ? ( like a gain of prestige, aid in battle etc. )
–                   Will the consequences of our actions in the previous games really have deep affects on how the world is now ? ( thisnis such a great facet of  mass effect 3, i mean real consequences, not just saying hi king Alistair or hi drunken Alistair, like ).
–                   will we see our two last protagonists and will they be given a personality according to the one we gave them ?
–                   Will we see our previous companions with different possibilities according to what we did before ? ( like seeing Shale in dwarf, and Wynne in Tevinter, etc … )
–                   will our actions during the game have profound impact ? Like because of us there s a war and we can participate in it on the side we choose but we can also avoid it, or have someone trial ?
–                   Will there be a realistic economy balance ? ( markets etc.. being able to make a small profit , building
mines and other, and selling too much of something at a place lower it prices, the prices fluctuating etc … )
–                   will there be new factions , and will we be able to join or even create one ?
–                   Is there very different outcomes ? ( more than  or side 1 wins or side 2)
–                   will there be « mountable » creatures or even just will we be able to have pets ?
–                   Will we be able to have different « combat actions » because seeing the mages performing the same majorette moves again and again and the warriors only attacking in the same ways is boring, make like 3 or 4 patterns of moves that we performs randomly for example.
–                   Will the old specializations still exists ? ( i want my arcane warrior!!!!( even if i overpowered I know))
and will there be new ones ?
–                   Will we be able to have a family ? (with husband/wife and kids if we choose so or adopt one)
–                   At last one for this time ( but I still have tons left in fact ), Will the places we go at really change and while we’re in it ( like morning/afternoon/evening/night phases but we don't change areas just stay there and times flow) and will those areas significantly change in the same act ( tired of seeing nothing move for 115 days and then boom completely different) like have chronologic changes, people saying new rumors , new building
appearing etc … while we’re still in the same act, all this just to give a little sense of time flowing, and maybe even timed quests, like you really have to hurry if you want to save this person ( but this a comfortable amount of
time)

There that sa lot of questions, thoughts and hopes I have for this game as you can see, thank you for your attention, and thumb s up for your work guys and girls.;)

I like to know where Morrigan and my Warden went to. Also I like to know what is going to become of the last 2 of the old gods, like if one become archdemon.
Another thing I would like if you chould chose to be human, dwarf, Elf like the 1st game also be fun you come be the things sten is (I can't remmber what they are called. Qunney?) I not played the 2nd game, I only played the demo, and I did not like it that I only could be human.

I'd like to hear more about Tevinter and its mages. What happens to mages who don't agree with the magocracy?

Uhm, I want to know what happened to my Warden, Morrigan, Alistar and the others of Origin. So things like ME 3, where choises that I've done in the first one reflected on the third.

Maybe explore Antiva and Orlais can be awesome, same for the Qunari home country.

Focusing on the first heroes of the first Blight, give a more "epic" storyline of the background. And I'd like to see or learn more about the characters from the novels, that I've loved.

Background and ambient are my desires in this DA 3 =) And, of course, good and deep characters like you guys have always done since Baldurs Gate! ^^ ;)

I'd like to discover and learn why Dragon Age II was a rushed, repetitive and bug filled pile of crap compared to the original...

Oh and more about Leliana and more about the entire world outside of Ferelden.

Kirkwall had a great tight story, but I think it's time to open the world up. DA2-type personal stories are for spinoffs and DLC.

I was looking for escalation. DA3 seems primed for a sweeping conflict with deeper implications from DA1 & DA2. I won't go into specifics, since this would be me writing my own fan-service.

I'd like to find out more about the dwarven communities outside of Orzimar, especially that recently rediscovered one that was briefly mentioned. Finding more about Antiva would be cool, same for Orlais and Tevinter.

And just for the hell of it, finding more out about Shale and what she's been up to aside from attempting to cause the extinction of all pigeons.

I'd like to see more heraldries and sigils of the different countries, and houses, and the histories of political dynasties and families.

I'd also like to know if your keeping DA2's art style or not, I didn't like it at all.

I want to learn more about the other wardens, especially the distant ones Alistar spoke of in Origins. I want to keep the DA2 combat though with a DAO kind of storyline. Characters and their dialogue are always great (except our fat faced king lol) and of course, we want to know where our baby and his mama went to. Perhaps DA3 has a portable storyline again from Origins so we pick up where we left off, or even maybe multiple characters for different plots. You know, pick your warden, or Hawke, and even another character and see where it takes us!

1.) Flemeth and her background, as well as her role in the overall story.
2.) Cassandra (the seeker). Tie her in to the new series. A dragon hunter is a cool concept and, well, Flemeth is a dragon.
3.) Antiva. I'd like to be able to quest there. It sounds like Italy/Sicily what with it being ruled by a mafia-like crime group (the crows).
4.) Andraste. I know she was a historical (Christ-like) figure. Any way to bring her back? A second coming? Or a dark blood magic ritual involving her ashes (hint hint Origins). Andraste would be a cool central figure/character.
5.) Orlais, definitely. All of it. The architecture, culture, fashion, food, everything.
6.) Fog Warriors. Are there any more of them? Did Fenris wipe them all out? Are there stragglers?
7.) Festivals - anywhere really. Not enough festivities happening in the different regions. Surely they have holidays for one tradition or another. It'd be cool to work that in - like a huge parade, and maybe someone is going to get murdered during the celebration and your hero has to stop it.

I love this, very constructive (if properly done).

What I love about Dragon Age Origins:
*The sense of freedom being able to choose Race, Origin, how story varies depending on that.
*Best characters I've ever seen in a game : Alistair, Morrigan, Leliana, Flemeth...
*Really deep and big Plot, spending so much time with those wonderful characters creating a very strong bond. (In DA2 it felt rushed).
*Outstanding storytelling and writing ---> Overall, the plot was pretty mature , believable and "serious".
*So many lands, places, buildings, variety. An adult and beautiful art style.
*Best romances I've ever seen : Alistair and Morrigan romances are priceless. I just can't describe how cool it was.
*So much dialogue and options. It is a pleasure to experience so many lines and content.
*A great illusion of choice: Your choices DID MATTER at the end. (Who's King/Queen, Who rules and how, what happens to everyone after).

What I love about Dragon Age 2 :
    *Voiced character. (I
disliked Hawke's voices both male and female, though. But I like the idea).
    * "Ten years plot" idea.
It was bad implemented in my opinion, but it has potential.
    * Faster combat. It was too bloody and unreal, but it is necessary to find something more dynamic.
    * Rival/Friend system.

What I'd like to see in Dragon Age 3:
*Morrigan and Flemeth : This must be done. (GodChild is welcome, too)
*Tevinter Imperium, The Magisters and their anger for power. Slavery, chaos... I like that.
*Black City/Golden city. I loved it when Wynne talked a little about that, and I liked it even more when Corypheus addressed it too in Legacy. It sounds very ancient, very epic, very cool.
*More about elves, I want to see/visit Arlathan or Antiva, very promising.
*Travels. Travelling is epic, gives depth, I want to go here and there.
*Great characters, with great and deep romances:  look at Dragon Age Origins.
*I want an epic , huge, fantastic, great story - plot. Not one like "Hawke: Tales from a single city".

What I'd not like to see in Dragon Age 3:
*Orlais: I don't see the excitement about this, really. It looks cool, good for a couple missions or DLC, but for a main plot? There's much more potential for Dragon Age, don't waste your time on that.
*Don't focus too much on the "Mages Vs Templars" theme, please. Good for some missions (main or optional), but it is not that interesting. I'm sick of that, it is overused already.
*Lack of choices. We're not dumb and we know if what we do matters or not: And you've done so great games we've became experts on this (Baldur's, KoTor, Dragon Age : Origins, Mass Effect 1).

  Thanks.

Antiva: I am very interested in Antiva and its people.  Especially Zevran.  But learning more about the culture and how it functions with an assassin's guild running the place fascinates me.  I'd like to explore the Crows, and more of Zevran's background and future interactions with the Crows.  He's one of my favorite characters, and I think also one of your best developed and fascinatingly complicated, and he deserves more air time.

Tevinter: I would also like to explore the Tevinter Imperium.  This could mean more Fenris, if you like.  But I want to see how the place is run, how slaves struggle, and perhaps affect their empire (help end slavery!).  Also, using them as a counterpoint to how mages perform tyranny just as well as templars (or should it be magisters versus the Chantry?).  It will also be perfect to fit into the mage vs. Chantry war you have building.

Multi-cultural Variety: I'm really game for exploring anywhere in the world except Orlais.  If you insist on Orlais, I hope it's only a part of the game, and not the whole game.  Also, if you do Orlais, consider how difficult that accent is for voice actors to master.  I'm not trying to be negative, as I normally find your voice actors quite satisfactory (some are exceptionally excellent, such as Fenris's and the Arishok's voice actors), but the Orlesian characters struggle with their accents.  Switching between countries throughout the story would be great, as it would give people variety, and perhaps lessen the attention on one type of accent.  Also, more North American accents would be nice.  North American accents are cool, too.

Fereldan and Kirkwall:  I want to see how my decisions affected the country!  Having a few cutomizaed side quests catered to your past choices so you can peek at what was done before would be splendid.

Female Representation:  I would especially like to see more lady dwarves and lady Qunari, please.  I also really loved how you made Aveline the badass swordswoman and weren't afraid to make her romantically unavailable.  I also love how you made Isabela promiscuous and still strong and independent.  I also love how Merrill appeared so fragile but had this stubborn streak in her.  I love how Bethany can be so sweet, but also strong.  The women of DA2 were incredible.  I also loved how you pushed aganst conventions with Wynne (and her magical bosom) and Shale.  While Morrigan and Leliana both have some issues, I appreciate that they both have strong points, too.  You've done a fantastic job with improving your representation of women from DA:O to DA2 and I look forward to it getting even better in DA3.  Just include more of them and of more varieties!

Black City and Deep Roads:  I am very intrigued by the Black City--I'd like to explore that.  Also, more exploration into scary places in the Deep Roads sounds fun.  Information on the darkspawn, the archdemons, the Tevinter Old Gods, etc. is always welcome.

City Elves: I'd like to see more of the alienages and get involved in elf issues and struggles in the cities.  I think the City Elves are where you really shine on pushing against fantasy conventions.  I'd like to help with their struggles, personally.  I'd like to se ehow alienages differ from place to place.

Character Options: I'd also like to explore different regions and character types with different types of characters.  What makes DA:O so replayable is the variety of origins you can pick from.  While I like Hawke, playing him/her didn't offer the same replayability that my 293854182945 Wardens did.  And on that note, I'd like more options on character customization.  More hairstyles, face options, ethnic options (it's hard to make an Asian-looking character due to limitations), skin colors, make-up, jewelry, body shapes, and the like.  Dare I recommend checking out the character customization on Dragon's Dogma?

Ethnic Diversity:  Please diversify the supporting cast and make ethnic characters more important.  Especially with humans, but more varieties of elves and dwarves are good, too.  I'd love to explore different ethnicities and cultures, or people with different ethnicities and cutlures.  Variety is the spice of life.  Also, well done on having the family change with your customizations in DA2.  Much less jarring than in DA:O, where my black female Cousland looked adopted.  Keep improving this system!

Characters and Romance:  I really love your characters, and I think they're the strongest aspect to your games.  I'd like to really dig into each of the characters and their background (should I choose to do so) and have a wide variety of companion characters to choose from (so I can afford to send one or two away without hobbling my party).  I also love the romances, and I'd like that enriched and deepened and customized to my choices.  I'd like more personal quests for your companions, tethered to their stories.  I love to explore people more than I do environments or cultures.  I also commend you for the same sex romance options.  I liked how you made all the romance options essentially "bisexual" in DA2.  That was a great idea, and keep it up.  I'd adore even deeper romances and greater reactions to the romances in-game.

Return Characters: I'd love to see Zevran, Alistair, Shale, Wynne, Sten, Varric, Aveline, Isabela, Fenris, Nathaniel, Sigrun, Cullen, and Flemeth again.

Past Choices Matter:  Try to have the game recognize the choices we made--if we refused Leliana's company or killed her in Origins, please respect that and don't  have her show up again.  If we disregarded Morrigan or did not use her Dark Ritual, please respect that and don't force Morrigan on us.  If we kill or ignore a character, acknowledge it.  If we romance a character, acknowledge it.  Have a few shout-outs to my Hawke and Fenris's undying love or something.  Please remember our personal choices and have the game reflect our past interests.  Please, please do not force characters upon us.  There's room for people of all tastes.  Catering our explorations and a few quests here and there to our past choices will just be fantastic.  There's ways to do this, even with codex entries and a few bits of dialogue or optional side quests.  Make our choices from the past matter almost as much as the choices we make in-game.

  • The connection between the dwarves, the red lyrium, magic, and the primeval thaig.
  • Who (or what) Flemeth really is and her role in the DA universe.
  • The connection between Flemeth and her daughters/Morrigan.
  • What happened to/with the Old God Baby.
  • Where Morrigan went at the end of Witch Hunt, and what the "gift" was.
  • What Eluvians REALLY are, and how they work.
  • More about the ancient elves and Arlathan.
  • Where darkspawn REALLY came from.
  • What Sandal was "foretelling" at the end of DA2 (about the magic coming back).
I think that about covers it, but it seems every time I play the game, I get more questions. ^_^

I really enjoyed both DA:O and DA2, so I'll probably be happy with whatever Bioware comes out with, but still, questions need answers, yes?

I'd also like to discover more history of the dalish elves and their ties to worshipping old gods. Helping the Dalish get their history back would be ace. More chances for grey area chioices. Maybe the old history is best left in the past once i discover what it is! The choice of burying the past that the Dalish fight so hard to reclaim would be juicy. Is the knowledge worth it? Or is it betterthat the Dalish look to where theyre going not where theyve been and defy tradition. Is that tanamount to denying their very identity? Heady stuff.

Have to agree with most of the posts here - would like to see more about Morrigan / Flemeth.

Don't know what it was with DA1, it had me hooked from the moment I started playing. I normally hate it when games make you pick sides and require a second play through in order to see the differences if you choose different options, but didn't mind this - just couldn't get enough.

I'd like the world to be a little more open ended like the elder scrolls, and if you could do away with the constant loading screens as you move between areas, that would be good.

Being able to kit out your companions in whatever gear you want should be allowed and to be able to see the changes in what they wear.

I like being able to tweak items in games (not overly complicated crafting things), but being able to make weapons stronger and effects to them (kind of like how they implemented it in KoA: Reckoning)

Can this future have griffons in it?

(anything about griffons - riding, reading about them, discovering an egg or something. a griffon shrine perhaps? special quill pens from griffon feathers?)

oh and on a technical note, I think a turn based combat system is better suited for DA than the real time - it just makes the game feel more like a classic RPG.

I like the human and elf models best in DA2, though the dwarves were a tad bit...odd.

I loved developing my Warden in DA:O whether she was a dwarf, elf, human, mage, fighter, rogue - that level of customization was terrific.

And I agree with others here calling for Morrigan, Flemeth and the God Baby - that seems like a very interesting story line that should be exposed at some point (preferably in the form of a game).

Ferelden and Orlesian politics is also I think a juicy little thread.

Love that you're doing this bioware :)

There were sooo many things in Origins that were never really explored, or explored enough that I want to know more about. My list has been mentioned over and over again, but just to reinforce what everyone else has already said:

1. Leliana and Orlais. I want to see more of the Leliana we caught a glimpse of in the Sacred Ashes trailer, and how she's come into her current role. Plus, it will give me more excuses to wear the Leliana Sacred Ashes cosplay I made ;) I would like to see Orlais as well. A ball would just be so awesome.

2. Morrigan and Flemeth. They have such an interesting, shrouded in mystery past that I want to know more about. Flemeth in DA2 was just so cool, but all I got from it was more questions about her!

3. Tevinter. We've heard a lot about it. I'd like to see it.

4. Ferelden. I want to see it now that the Blight is over. Who survived? Who didn't? How does it look under the new rule (whomever that was from your game)?

5. The Black City. I want to know more, and would really like to see it

6. Past characters - the brief cameos in DA2 was nice, but I'd like a little more than just a brief cameo. Maybe a little side quest with past characters, just to catch up with them, see how they're doing. From Origins and DA2

7. I would like to know more about the Qunari. I could easily see myself playing a DA game based entirely on Qunari society.

8. Chantry/Templar history and their war against the mages. More history on this.

9. Dalish. It would be so fantastic to have a story back during the time of the Dalish cities, see what their people were really like.

10. The Grey Wardens. We know a lot about them from Origins, and it was wonderful. I'd like to see more about the beginning of the Grey Wardens - how the process to become a Grey Warden was discovered and all that.

There's a lot more, but 10 is a good start :)

Well here are my thoughts:

I think the DA 3 shouldn't be restricted in one country. I think it would be cool if we could explore different parts of Thedas. Like we could go to Tevinter, Orlais, Ferelden, Kirkwall, Seheron, Anderfels, Rivain, even for a brief visit. There should be a main country (Tevinter :D) where most of our quests take place, but I think a little visit to other places couldn't hurt.

-The voice of the main character was good in DA2, but unnecessary. altough I wouldn't mind, but I'd like to see a lot more conversation options, and please forget those "icons" we are not 5 year olds.

The combat system in DAO was great. It was tactical, and hard to master. DA 2's combat felt to fast, to action style, to "hollywood", and boring. There were no "real" challenge in the game. It wasn't bad, but if you want to continue on this then create more combat animation, more challenge, and not just "more life to enemies, they hit harder and such", enemies with a lot of abilities and clever tactics.

I read the blog about the armor customization for followers. Sounds good, but I don't understand why can't I give my companion an armor I'd like to? Yeah alright, "their personalities would be lost" But it's not true. You just have to write it better.
I'd like to see unique/legendary armors, weapons, hidden in secret areas, with great side stories, quests, mysteries, involving puzzles like the juggernaut armor in Brecilian Forest, or the Dragon Scale Armors, We should have to work for those items. We should have to earn them in a hard way.

-I really miss the Fade. Yeah we got a short trip in DA2, but I'd like to see more about the Fade. It's a great.

Alright so what else? Well:

Morrigan & Flemeth, Morrigan's child
What are the dragons want? Where they came from? Where were they?
About the disciples. What happened with them? What happened with the Architect? Or the "first if the Darkspawn"? :D
Tevinter and their society, Orlais would be nice
A little more about Rivain, Anderfels, Par vollen, Antiva
Maybe more about the Crows? Can we join them?
Mage-Templar conflict and Qunari invasion as main threat - War! :D
What was the lyrium idol? doesn't Lyrium supposed to be poisonous for mortals?
And the mirror, the Eluvian what is it? where does it lead?

One more thing: Please make the game more dirtier, darker, I'm sorry I don't know the perfect word, but DA2 was too "clean" compared to Origins. The feeling, the setting, the town, the world should be a lot darker, dangerous, and good graphics. DAO was great, it gave me a really "terrifying" feeling about this world, DA2 not so much.

I love this world, I'm looking forward to see what will come out of it.

I'm very curious about the Black City, and how Dragon Age 2: Legacy's DLC directly contradicts the established story put forth by the Chantry. For those reasons I'd love to explore both Orlais and Tevinter.

I would also like to see both the Warden and Hawke return in some capacity,

Lastly, your production values increased significantly in the DA2 DLCs, keep heading in that direction and I'll be satisfied.

I would like Dragon Age 3 to address the following:
1.       What happened to Morrigan and the child if you did the ritual?
2.       What happened to my Grey Warden? Please bring him back in the next Game.
3.       Dragon age 2 did not impress me but I would like some resolution. What was Flemeth talking about and what happened to Hawk and his party? It would be cool to see the Grey Warden and Hawk in the next game.
4.       Customized team armor, weapons, and items like DAO. DAO was a great concept. Why would you get away from that? Please have an actual area this time and not just Kirkwall.
5.       Take your time with this game and make it right. DAO and DA2 can be combined to make a heck of a game and you can bring back all of the characters from both games if you do it right. All of our past decisions can be utilized in the new game in bringing back all of the characters. Again, do not rush this one.

Idk if these were mentioned before, but here's my input. I'd like to know more about the deep roads, are there more ancient Thaigs? more histeory on the darkspawn would be cool. I would like to learn more about Sandal, as well.

I'm a big fan of dragons, so I would like to learn more about the creature the game is named after. where did they go, why are they coming back? It would be cool if they were a sentient race unto themselves.

Flemeth, the architect and the guy from Legacy, who are they, really. if Morrigan was preggo, what happened to her child, i should be born, now. Where did she go when she stepped through the mirror?

I'd like to learn about the world of Thedas, what are the other religions, or is there only the chantry? Whats the chantry like in Tevinter? are there any good Magistars, or are they all like hadrianna and danarius?

why arnt there horses?

whats the difference between a witch and a mage; is it only geographically speaking, is it gender, or is there a real difference?

Oh that reminds me, longer hair!
The Dragon Age hair selection is great compared to the mass effect one but none of them are past shoulder length. I understand it causes clipping problems and everything but I've seen it done in other games like Skyrim, so is it possible for Dragon Age?
