I want to know the story of the world with another eyes.
Do you want feedback to make DA3....go back and see what you did in DA origins that's the answer

^More About That Guy.
He's Always Been My Biggest Interest When It Comes To Dragon Age.
First, And Leader Of The Old Gods.
He's Assumed To Have Been The Most Powerful.
Prespective Right There.
I Mean Putting Aside The Fact That He Was Probably Ridiculously Massive.
He Taught Blood Magic To Thalsian.
We've Been Constantly Bombarded With Warnings On How Powerful, Dangerous And Unpredictable Blood Magic Really Is. It's Just On A Different Scale Than Ordinary Magic.
Who Knows Just What He Could Do.
No Spoilers Intended But:
He's Supposed To Have Been Dead For What, 1000 Years?
What's Going On With The Altar Of Dumat?
Or How About:
"Dumat, Grant Me Your Powers!" -I Remember Things Getting A Little Crazy After Hearing That.
And I'm Sure Everyone Who's Beaten Legacy Caught Corypheus' Little Trick At The End.
I'd Like To Think Dumat (And Possibly The Other Gods) Would Have Been Capable Of Doing Something Simular.
- Is He Still Alive?
- What Was/Is He Capable Of?
- What Happened To The Other Old Gods?
- Will We Ever Interact With Them In Any Way? (In The Fade?)
- What Really Happened To The Golden City?
I Don't Have A Clue What They're Up To.
Though I Don't Think It's A Coincidence That Flemmeth, Even Being A Shapeshifter Can Become A "Dragon"
Or That Morrigan Wants (Has) The Soul Of An Old God, And Intends To Challenge Her.
Just My 2 Cents.

I loved the way that Origins looked in comparison to DA 2, howevre I did greatly appreciate the versatility and fighting style of DA2, If it wasnt broken why did you try to fix it?
The expansiveness of DA: O was startling. I would like to see that come back in DA 3, since all players had for DA 2 was an interesting storyline, and engaging gameplay, whilst lacking the true component of DA: O.
Also one thing I have noticed in DA is that the citys feel strangely empty, as if everyone stays inside hiding 24/7.
I think that it may be an interesting concept to bring about of more people traveling around the city, each individual but not so much quest related. Where as in the past DA games it seems people are only there if they relate to a quest, I thihnk now they need to be there to add to the social climate, much like the elves are grouped together in the inner cities to give an idea of the life they live. Maybe a gaming engine that could keep all of thses people active is needed to bring this already stunning game, truly to life. That way we dont need to rely on lore to figure out everything about the locals.
I would very much like to see the heros of the past games appear again! Esspescially since we know they are being hunted now. Of course with Morrigan and the baby idk what happens, it would depend on previous save files.
Finally there are two places that entrance me in Dragon Age more than any other. Tevinter and Antiva. If I could see these two places I belive I would have an extremely satisfactory game! Think of all the interesting fights against mages and assassins that could happen? Or even the Antivan royalty!
These are of course just my opinions, I am a huge fan of Dragon Age: Origins, and a fan of Dragon Age II as well, but must confess to truly loving only DA: O.
Im sure that whatever game you produce will be brilliant, as I have loved you guys since Jade Empire!

I think it is safe to assume that everyone has completed DA:O and DA 2, but just in case:
*******************Spoilers****************************
I have always been a huge fan of the Morrigan/Flemeth/Warden story arch.
Some questions that I would like to see answered:
What happened to the Warden if the player made the decision to cross into the Eluvian with Morrigan? What exactly lies beyond the Eluvian?
What plans does Morrigan have in store for the OGB? How do the Warden and Flemeth factor into these plans?
Perhaps delve further into the nature of the old gods and Morrigan's relationship to them?
I also like the idea of exploring the Tevinter Imperium and the lore which has been built up around that.
In terms of how the developers choose to tell their story, here are some things that I would like to see:
1. A return to a larger, more epic world a la Origins. *However*, I think that merely mimicking the style and aesthetic of the Elder Scrolls series would be a bad decision. I love the Elder Scrolls games, but Bioware has always had its own unique approach to storytelling (e.g. Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, DA:O, etc.) that is equally as effective as anything Bethesda does. Future DA projects would suffer if Bioware did not remain true to itself.
2. More party customization (discussed at PAX).
3. Avoidance of recycled environments (also discussed at PAX).
4. Provide players with a choice in how the story unfolds. I thought that the WH DLC did this very effectively. I appreciated that players who had grown attached to the Morrigan NPC had the option of proceding into the Eluvian with her, while other players who were not quite as attached had other options at their disposal. I.E. create both "happy," neutral, and "sad" endings from which players get to choose?
5. Acknowledge choices that players have made in previous DA games and ensure that their decisions in DA:O, etc. carry through into "hypothetical" DA3.
6. I realize that character designs change as time progresses, new game engines/technology is developed, etc., but I would appreciate it if the developers tried to remain as faithful as possible to the world which we first encountered in DA:O. I feel that DA 2 was a significant departure from the aesthetic of the first game and that it suffered for it (just my opinion - you are free to disagree). Also, Bioware has created some truly iconic characters (e.g. Morrigan), and I would hate to see the original character designs abandoned.
7. A return to more tactical combat a la DA:O, Baldur's Gate, and NWN (discussed at PAX).
I am sure that there is more to discuss, but this post is already obscenely long. Thank you to the developers for allowing the fan base the opportunity to voice our hopes, concerns, etc.

I find it hard to imagine that all the talent this company had,...all the money that is currently backing them, all the years that have passed...they still have not been able to capture the magic of Baldur's gate
Amazing really

My FAVOURITE part of Dragon Age 2 was the combat- I found it FAR more engaging than in Origins and could carry on for very long periods of time without it feeling too repetitive!
OK, in my opinion:
Origins was great because:
-Different Locations
-Multiple background choices for the Warden
-Zevran wasn't ugly
-A lot more character dialogue
Dragon Age II was great because:
-Hawke was voiced
-***Combat was engaging***
-Skill trees
-Hawke unlike Warden was capable of facial expression
-Rogue's damage determined by dexterity
-Scenes with characters were better animated
-Characters were just as loveable if not more so in some cases than in Origins (opinion)
-Many things linked in well from Origins e.g. Dalish Clan was Mahariel's and Merill becomes Hawke's companion, Amell Warden actually a cousin of Hawke..
Where do I want to go in DA3?
NEVARA!! A bit of dragon slayer, yes pleaaaase~
Would also probably like to finally go to the Imperium we hear so much about~ Kill a few magisters, maybe even meet the Black Divine?

I would like to see connections and discover what happened to all the main characters from Origins, I was completely attached to those characters and would love to know more of their story, I literally squeeled like a little school Girl when Alistair made an Appearance in Dragon Age 2 which was the only real memorable highlight for me in that game.

-More like the first
-We want to make our own characters and I mean the race I want and everything I want it to be.
-We would like to explore the Tevinter Imperium, Nevarra, Orlais.
- Little bit more open ended, more like Kingdoms of Amalur
- More like the first.
- A better organized journal.
- More Dragon Slaying.
Fark EA, and make games LIKE YOU USED TO MAKE.

2. More impact of our decisions and our characters from the first two games
3. More story line about the old dwarve thaigs, Kal-Sharok, the lyrium idol, etc.
4. A surviving Griffin!
5. New races and/or an untouched Elivish City with all their old knowledge and wisdom intact.
6. The fade and the dark city origins
7. More customizable NPC's.

Varric and James Vega (Mass Effect 3) are very popular because they more male person than Fenris and Kaidan.
Please return elven faces in DAO design and give them a boots. DA 2 version looks like aliens.

I know you want simple answers within a parameter, but I'm not likely to keep coming back so I'd like to say everything now.
Dragon Age was a perfect game that I hated playing for the first fifty hours. The story and dialogue choices had me hooked and at that fifty hour mark I had some kind of revelation about how the combat system was supposed to work, and to my surprise went from hate to love and replayed it several times, + Awakening and a fair bit of the DLC.
I think Dragon Age was a game built with people-who-played-Baldur's-Gate in mind but, if you didn't have previous experience with that pause-target gameplay, Dragon Age did a very poor job of explaining itself.
Mass Effect had the exact same problem and resolved that with the in game tutorial videos in the second game. Dragon Age 2 approached the problem differently. Instead of explaining the gameplay better, it changed the gameplay into something I don't want: mindless button pressing. Combat in Dragon Age was intriguing: Combat in Dragon Age 2 was boring. I want combat that engages me mentally.
I don't want a Hawke/Commander Shepherd character, I want a voiceless cypher for me to inhabit - that's a role-playing game. I don't want a simplistic wheel, I want well written dialogue choices that engage my understanding of language and (a well-written) NPCs reaction. I got this in Dragon Age Origins. (Incidentally the wheel works well in Mass Effect, because it elevates the game above an otherwise simplistic third-person shooter like Gears.
I realise you want to experiment with genre blending in order to reach a wider and more profitable audience, but the pitfall is diluting the experience for everyone and pleasing even fewer people. I think that's what happened with Dragon Age 2. Normally I would be saddened to see experimentation fail so badly (despite the inherent risk) but in Dragon Age 2's case the choices came across as cynical decisions to make a product as quickly and cheaply as possible with bullet points and buzz-words found on the backs of other people's game boxes. I hope this series can survive the damage done by that because the genre feels underrepresented.
I hope that Dragon Age survives and we someday see another game like Origins with rich storytelling and some depth to its gameplay. Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 seemed like games that required far fewer writers than their precursors. I hope you can reverse that trend.

I want more information regarding the Black City - in the Fade and the Golden City. Also, what is beyond the Fade where Morrigan went? Will more eluvaians be introduced and what abilities will they have? How does one activate an Eluvian? What information was given to any warden who let Morrigan go through the mirror alone? Why didn’t we get a codex entry on that book?
I want more information on the Wardens and what they are doing such as the main HQ in the Anderfels. Is there a blight forming in the west as was rumored at the end of Awakening? Have they found a way to reach the two remaining Arch Demons? Will there ever be a cure for Wardens? What happened to the other talking darkspawn? Will we ever see the First Warden? Will there be darkspawn from the ocean waters or new developing darkspawn? Have the four previous wardens who ended the blights…were they also saved by the same type of DR? If a warden such as many of mine did the DR, will they live forever?
For the next ages after the current age of Dragons and if BioWare/EA continue the IP and world, will we visit where humans and Qunari actually came from? The Countries across the oceans that we know exist but have never seen a map of these continents or countries. Why did humans and Qunari come to Thedas, what was their motivation?
What is the tie in with Theirin Blood with Dragons? Why are dragons vital to Thedas as a whole?
I’d like more on all cultures and especially Arlathan, Rivain, Nevarra, and Qunari. What did the elves have that was so important that Trevinter sacked Arlathan? Oh yes, we have to visit Antiva also in game. I want a more in-depth look at Crows and how they accept or decline contracts and to see how crows are actually trained and how they rule Antiva. I’d like to visit every country in Thedas, and I mean all of them.
Will BioWare/EA ever get back to making dlc and expansions instead of comics and P and P play? It really doesn’t make sense to have a video game and no new dlc or expansions coming out. The books and comics are fine but I feel let down the IP is not moving forward without any game play at all. Give me something to play!
Is BioWare/EA waiting for the new versions of consoles such as PS4 before releasing any new game? If this is one holdup, why not produce more expansions and dlc to keep us busy with something to game play until the new consoles are released? I don’t understand no new game play being out and felt the explanation given over the Exalted March expansion wasn’t a good enough reason. My own personal preference is that you guys hold off on the comics until the IP is put to rest, which I hope isn’t until several years to come.
I do like the opportunity for new books before a new full edition game. I loved reading “The Stolen Throne” and “The Calling” before the original game was released. I’ll look forward to how the events of Asunder will have an impact on the new game, if there is one. Please once in awhile let us have a happy ending for some pc or if the use of a family dynamic is used again, at least give us more than five minutes with them before they get killed or we have one of those decisions to make.
I’d really like some of the open ended story lines from the two previous games to be resolved. Some use of our imagination is fine but some of these storylines were main plots and I want more conclusions and consequences.
More please on the Primal Thaig and why is red lyrium different from blue lyrium? I’d like to visit Kal Sharok and find out how their lingering hatred with Orzammar is going.
More on what Sandal’s abilities are and why did the Empress request his presence?
An explanation on what happened to Wardens who did the DR and Hawke, where are they and why did they leave their former lives? Is Hawke and The Warden the same person, did an Eluvian with blood magic change them for Flemeth’s future use, just like she was able to escape Morrigan’s plans for her. I really don’t like the cop out of missing former pc. I really liked in DA2 how the Warden was mentioned and the books being written on the blight. I also love hearing or seeing former companions and other npcs from the previous games. For me this will tie all games in together.
If Alistair dies in Trevinter I’d like it mentioned in the new game, rumors about his death or what happened to him and will Maric ever be found, and who is currently ruling Ferelden if this happens. Did Alistair ever learn who his real mother is and a resolve on that issue on who his real mother actually is would be fantastic?
Is Empress Celene alive or dead? Is Ferelden involved in the war going on in Orlais? If so, then did this happen with the ruling monarch’s approval? Did Alistair, Alistair & Anora ruling jointly, or just Anora give their approval and ordered war with Orlais? This would be a brilliant move if they invaded Orlais and not the other way around of Orlais invading Ferelden.
Will the Maker always be silent? Is he related to Dumat?
I’d like to see a return to all RPG elements in the next game. I’m an RPG fan and also a tactical player. Can you accommodate both types of players? Not just the button mashers and power player? Give me as much story and lore as possible because I’m one of those people who actually read the journal and codex. Oh yes, as a pc player I do want the tactical camera back. I really missed this in DA2. I did like the framed narrative with Varric and it showed you guys are willing to shake things up a bit. Fine…and yes a voiced pc please. As much as I love Origins it is hard to go back and play with no voice outside of battle. Both systems for responsive was fine with me, just wish the dialogue wheel was slightly more informative on what my pc might say. I want skills to also make a comeback. I really miss trap making and stealing. I spent hours and I mean hours stealing from people in Origins when I played a rogue.
Will the Qunari actually invade the rest of Thedas and why isn’t the Qunari at war with the White Chantry or did I miss something? What other information on mages and their abilities do the Qunari know that the rest of the world doesn’t as hinted in DA2?
Will random encounters make a comeback? I enjoyed those in the original game. I know many didn’t but I did. Will the extremely rare and random quest Axe in the Stump ever have an impact? I’d love to see my female wardens became the ruler of Thedas, especially since my husband the King of Ferelden apparently didn’t love me like he claimed! Just sayin!
