Ancient Tevinter - Because that stuff is just fascinating.
Darkspawn - Its Dragon Age, Darkspawn should always be a focus. How do our choices in Awakening or not affect the future? Are there options to stop the next blight from ever happening?
Morrigan and Godbaby - What was she after and trying to achieve, what affect will this cause?
Ancient Gods - If the dwarves and not the darkspawn found one, what would occur? Are they going to return in a non darkspawn fashion?
The Maker and the Chantry - What are their ultimate goals and is the Maker in fact real?
Secondary Plot Lines of interest;
Dwarves and their ancient thaig - this one is almost of primary interest - the fact it was never anything more than a dungeon crawl in DA2 is unforgivable.
Elves - can they regain their former glory?
Quanari - When are they going to invade, will their be options to submit personally as a player or fight against it depending on our views. Can those choices REALLY matter?
Everything outside of those is just gravy.

Where did ser-pounce-a-lot go? Would like to see Tevinter, mages/slaves like where fenris came from. (and more fenris!)
Oh yes please, I'd love to see the main character of the 3rd game team up Fenris for a Tevinter related quest.

In the next game, I would like to discover LARGE, THOUGHT-OUT, HAND-CRAFTED, UNIQUE, SCARY, NPC-FILLED, STORY-FILLED, GLOOMY, BLOODY, AND GRITTY DUNGEONS.
Sort of like Diablo III dungeons, but with more strategy and story - not just mindless clicking.

- I have always wanted to know more about the Qunari, in particular Par Vollen. It has always been said that it is a tropical island, and the potential for scenary is incredible. Upon retrospect of DA: Origins, the missing playable race was the Qunari. There is great potential for a Qunari origin story about the character becoming Tal-Vasoth. The qun is such a strict religion, but we have yet to see any aspect of their society other than the military.
- Where did Morrigan go after Witch Hunt?! In theorey Morrigan has just mothered the most powerful child in the world and we have never even seen him/her.

I liked Dragon Age 2 better than Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 3 was a HUGE improvment on this point with letting me pick my weapons and ballance weapon stats.
Bring back the RPG! DO IT! Action is nice... But Give Me my Kotor knock off!!!

2) Tervinter. I got to know more, see more, learn more. It's the most interesting culture in the Dragon Age setting. The Fereldens are great as the safe fantasy setting people, don't get me wrong, and the Orlesians look entertaining. But the Tervinter are interesting. The absolute dregs of an empire... A blood magic based slave society locked in a war with zealot giants and holding their own? That's interesting. Why? How? For how long? They can't see themselves as bad guys... we know some of their slaves are proud of their station. It may be that slave means something different to them. I want to get a good look at them. Hell, a Tervinter seems to be the kind of mage I want to play but never get to.
3) I hate the ****ing Qunari and their dirty slave religion. I'd like to learn about them dying out.
4) Red lyrium. Deeper thaigs. The bloody history of Kirkwall and the seemingly missing magic... The possibly mixed city of elves and humans where we found the Arcane Warrior sphere. What the crap was up with that! I loved that kind of creepy, musty, slick hint of a truth lurking below the skin
of a modern societies.
5) The great works of old. Stuff like the tower and it's occupant from Legacy, or the story of Carridin and the wonderful cut scenes of him and the anvil. The qunari's book from DA2 had such potential, but was, alas, there and then gone. Disappointing! But also tantalizing. I love relics of an earlier time, and with the amount of magic that was once free and wild in Thedas, there has to be plenty of these laying around.

I do NOT want Dragon Age 3 to be preoccupied by decisions made earlier in Dragon Age 2 and DA: Origins
I want the world of Dragon Age 3 to be as dynamic as possible based on decisions MADE WITHIN DRAGON AGE 3
I believe part of the reason of why DA2 was so bland is because it was shackled by constraints posed on it by a previous game
I want Dragon Age 3 to be more like DA: Origins, a truly independent game that is not afraid to have its decisions have weight within its own game
Additionally, remember what your own Stanley Woo said about game development
"All right, how about this one: despite us having given you a thing in Dragon Age Origins, we are not necessarily able to give you the same thing in Dragon Age II for a variety of reasons. Usually, the reason is zots. Having a comparatively short developement cycle means that we either had to work faster and/or on a smaller scale. Faster was already a given, what with time being inexorable and linear and all, but a smaller scale means sacrifices, compromises, and cuts compared to the original, gigantic, epic game."
If you have less development time, don't be preoccupied by secondary things
DA was never meant to be like Mass Effect, and it will never be. So please don't try to shoehorn it.

Personally I'd like to see Orlais, Tevinter, and a return to Ferelden within the game, more would be welcome, but those three should be in it, Orlais because it is the heart of the Chantry, Tevinter because it shows how things work when Mages rule, the counter to Orlais basically, and Ferelden so we can see how our choices in Origins have affected the nation. I'd also really like the character creation in Dragon Age III to be a blend of Origins and DA2, for example, each player be able to choose their sex, their race from Human, Elf, Dwarf, and Qunari (Please

A complete game.
No on-disc DLC.
No post-release DLC.
No fifteen different stores with exclusive pre-order content for each store.
Give me the full game with the beginning, middle and end with NO CONTENT CUT.
That's what I want to see out of Bioware's next game and the above conditions are the reason I buy most games used now.
If you want my money Bioware, you will not try and gouge me.

I want to learn more about the previous Blights, and how it was first discovered that taking in their taint was the key to defeating them, thus borne the Grey Wardens. I want to learn more of the fate of the Architect from Awakenings (assuming he survived) and what future parts he will play in bringing his blighted brothers to the light.
I want to learn just how the chantry not only blamed the worlds troubles on the mages, but how they gained domination over them. How their subjugation came about, and how mages lost this critical fight in the past.
I want to learn just how much of a role in the worlds events that Flemeth has truly been. How many she has deceived or pushed in a direction they would not otherwise have taken. How she gained her unearthly and clearly unholy powers. And, of course, what role she will play in the future, preferably in more substantial away than two short, highly unimportant cutscenes.
I want to learn Morrigan's fate, and that of the child with an Old God's soul. I want to learn the secrets behind her knowledge of such acts that led to its birth, and what her plans for this child are, and what that child will one day become.
I want to learn of the other Old Gods. The ones corrupted and risen as Archdemons, the ones still sleeping in the earth, and what they were before. Why are they dragons, but known as Gods? And why are they so readily taken by the Blight's corruption? Why are the darkspawn drawn to them, so much so they can think of nothing else? What is the connection between their fate and the fate of the Darkspawn, were their creation related? One born of the other, thus connecting them in a way that causes the one to seek the other?
There are MANY things I want to know about this world and its history. I felt teased with such a breadth of topics and key figures with so little story to back them. I want to know more than the current war and its factions. I want to know the history of the people and their ancestor's that cause and shape these conflicts.
This likely covers only the key things I'd learn, but the more you can flesh out this world you've created, BioWare, the happier we will be. Don't focus on just a few key things, bring this world to life in its entirety, that we can experience it to the fullest.

I want to know more about the conflict between the mages and templars. How the Chantry rose to power and has gone uncontested for so long.
What is on the other side of the world?
How all of the actions of the last two games has impacted the rest of the world.
More about the gods or lack of them in the world. The cultures of the world beyond Tevinter and Orlais...The lack of more cultures is a sore point for me.
I would like for several years to go by from the end of DA2 to DA3. To allow the changes wrought in the second game to truly have spread.
In Origins I enjoyed the story of the black city, the dragons, etc. The world felt more significant and old.DA2 didn't really explore the history of the world as much but did a great job developing the relationships with NPC's
I hope whatever you do is a good mix of both.
The world needs more ruins, more depth, more history beyond having an entry appear in my journal w/a "New" tag next to it.
Or go back and play through Jade Empire and make a sequel...Because I loved that game and was disappointed that nothing came of it. It was the best and most original game Bioware has ever made. Look to it as inspiration...
As I've said before: Show me, don't tell me. And if you can't afford to show me then don't do it.

Seeing my original Dragon Age playthrough was barely called upon in Dragon Age 2, I guess I want to see all my saves amount to something. Maybe our character from the original Dragon Age crosses path with our character from Dragon Age 2? Something to bring these 2 games together, set them off on the same direction to a new story.

Would also like to find out more on what Morrigan and her child have been doing after Witch Hunt dlc. Also find out more about Flemeth's actual past and see if or how much of a hand she had in influencing the history of the world of Dragon Age.
Would like to know more about the Tevinter Imperium. They seem to be set as an evil tyrannical nation not to be messed with. Yet not much is really given about them other than a mission or two that generally paint them as evil.

I want the mage-templar conflict to be resolved by the game. It must come to a solution. Probably at least 3 (tenuous peace, or an ending for each side winning). True peace should be hard to obtain (if not impossible), and Hawke and the Warden should go on the side that makes the most sense (Diplomatic Hawke would be able to be turned to the peace option from whichever they picked, Sarcastic Hawke might be, and Aggressive couldn't. The Warden should be based on their choices somehow maybe?).
I want to see more Dwarven establishments (active ones), more interesting elven factions. Also Qunari.
Other than that, I have other ideas for questions other than this one. In terms of the world, you can just show me more and I'll be happy. Lemme know when you have technical/gameplay questions, or questions about the protagonist.

If Dragon Age 3 is set in Orlais dealing with the Mages vs Templars, I want DA4 to deal with the Imperium vs the Qunari.

- I'd like to know more about Flemeth. She has appeared in both game and we know some stuff about her but the big picture is still missing. I'd like to see her take a more "protagonic" role in the next Dragon Age game and have a more in depth look about her.
- It would also be nice to know what happened to Morrigan, specialy regarding the storyline in which she leaves with this demon/god child. What happened to her?? What happened to the kid?
- Unlike some people here, I really enjoyed the story in dragon age 2. I liked the fact that is was not a "save the world" story as in 99% of other RPG's and I liked the kind of "social/racial trouble" (so to call it) that it showed. So despite wanting a more "big picture story" I'd love to see more of this and how it develops in other regions of the dragon age world. I'm quite sure mages and... the knights (don't remember the name) are not the only ones having this sort of trouble out there.
- The ending of DA 2 was actually quite interesting. Personally I'd like to see the continuation of hawke's story. But I'd like to see a bigger story with a lot of locations and people. Keep some of the characters and elements from DA2 but also make it A LOT more like DA1

I can wear an online activation - but sometimes it takes so long to log in to EA in the game that I can go off an make a coffee and come back and its still not done.
One time activation for the game. Then the game and all DLC can be totally offline without issue. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
I will beg for this.

On a more technical note, I would like to see better animation, especially in regards to hands and clipping. In every BioWare game, characters clip through themselves all the time. Nothing kills immersion quite like watching a character turn their head, only to have their head clip through the armor that they're wearing. On the animation front, characters always seem kind of wobbly during conversations, but what really kills me is the hands. In DA II, during every conversation with the Arishok, he never moves his hands. They are stuck in this generic neutral pose and even though he gestures with them they never move. He even points at someone but his hand is stuck in that neutral position.

So, DA3 should bring back some of the old characters. Sten, Shale, etc. Definitely Morrigan, because that ending in Witch Hunt .... I won't even talk about that.
Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the story of the Champion. Yes, it was quite the detour from the Grey Wardens fighting against Blight, but it was one hell of a story and I'm expecting one hell of a payoff when the storylines of DAO and DA2 merge. Don't let me down in that regard!
Ultimately I trust Bioware to tell a good story and that's all I ever wanted from its games. I guess that's kind of why I didn't care about being shepherded through dungeons that look the same. Make me a part of something that matters, that's epic. DA2, for all its faults, told a hell of a story.

In fact i would like to see/know more mystical/mysterious/magical stuff that relate to the past of Thedas like the Avvars and the whole Urn of Sacred Ashes quest, especially The Gauntlet part.
John Epler wrote...
I've sad it before, and I will say it again - we are not going to give you a sexuality toggle.
It suggests that same-sex content is something that is somehow worth being protected from, and that's not a viewpoint we're ever going to support.
Don't want to initiate a romance with a character of the same gender, turn them down. Maybe they'll be a little disappointed, but that's life. If you've never experienced being turned down by someone you're romantically interested in (and suffered the disappointment, however large or small, associated with this) then you are probably Jensen Ackles, in which case may I say that I am a tremendous fan of your work?
But yes. When it comes to inclusivity versus exclusivity (and, let's be clear, suggesting that being protected from that darned same-sex content is a valid goal is heavily on the side of exclusivity), we will always fall on the side of inclusivity. Unwanted advances from someone of the same gender is, for all intents and purposes, something we view in exactly the same way as unwanted advances from someone of the opposite gender. Turn them down and move on with your life.
I agree, but i also must say, the same way the game can and should include more, it could also stop with the underwear sex. I'm not saying it should have explicity porn, but you know what i mean. Think Liara romance scene in ME3, but going just a little further (BOOBS, show us some boobs!)
I'm mean, c'mon Bioware... your games are already target/rated for adults. Stop worrying so much about Fox News.

I'd like to hear more about the nature of the Eluvian and what- even if we never see it- Morrigan left Thedas for (it's not the Fade, exactly, is it?).
I'd like to see more of the political struggles in Thedas, if only through Codex entries, both in past and present. "A Song of Ice and Fire," headache-inducing as it can get with all of its numerous characters, is a good example of fleshing out a fantasy world with this- rises to power, falls from grace (and their lingering effects in the present), etc
I'd like to see more about the Tevinter Imperium, what life was like before the Black City and the creation of the Dark Spawn.
Lastly, I'd love to ecounter and learn about the mountain people, the Aavarians, mentioned in the tabletop game.
----
So, in a nutshell: culture. Give us culture. DAO was marvelous in its handling of this.
