The Hero of Ferelden, Morrigan, Old God Baby and Eluvian Land. Whats the deal with all that?

This and:

1. ) I would like to know more about the fade, spirit, demon and possession. I've learn that spirit feed on emotion and can change their nature based on their host's personality/behaviour. What about demon? Can demon change from dark to malevolent? If demon change nature, will it change it physical form too like desire demon change into spirit of valor? Can lesser spirit be captured, tamed and trained to be wizard's pet?

2.  Flemeth. How did she find way to cheat death, prolong her age and somehow can predict the future?

3.  Sandal how did Sandal manage to stay alive among dozens of darkspawn corpses in DAO and DA 2? What is Sandal special ability "enchanment" has anything to do with it? Where did he get his special ability that even his adopted father know nothing about it? I would this character to be developed further.

4.  I would like to see more cultures and race diversity with unigue tradition like festival, ritual, marriage, social gathering etc..

5.  What is the history of dragon? Why do ancient gods tend take form of dragon? When was the first dragon born or created? What happen to them?

I'll add more questions later.

And more about Weisshaupt, the Anderfels, the Uncharted territory south of the Korcari Wilds and the south west corner of the Thedas map because that territory just sounds interesting:

As for characters go I'd like to know more about Flemeth and Morrigan and the old god baby. I'd also like to know what happened to Cullen after the Kirkwall rebellion and what's going on with Leliana and Cassandra.

I want many things...

I want to see Orlais and Antiva.... BIG TIME.
I want more M'bari. I want much more of the Fade and the Black City.
I want more cameos from characters I've met: Shale, Bann Teagan and Sandal the dwarf...

GAMEWISE: DRAGON AGE 3

I want all of the above, too.
BUT first and foremost: ORIGINS... DA3 needs to offer a diverse set of playable characters: different races, classes, cultural identities, and back-stories. That was the most winning feature of the first game, and something tragically and utterly lost in every installation afterward.

And if you really want to know, I put much more here:
http://www.trueachie...hreadid=2132968

I really want to love DA3 like I loved Origins.

I would like to discover a "lost tribe" of ancient elves, that have managed to stay hidden from the days before their race was enslaved, that still retain all their old powers. And it would be extra special if they were not stunted and deformed from the centuries of oppression like the elves in DA2 appeared to be.

Andraste lore, stuff about Flemeth, Sandal, and a masquerade ball filled with political intrigue where I can dance with my LI -- preferably Hawke and Merrill if I could replay as them for a brief amount of time in a sort of "protagonist temporary switcheroo" -- to a waltz akin to the Waltz of the Damned.

From a gameplay perspective, I'd like to see more balance in combat.

From a protagonist perspective, I'd like to have my PC display actual intelligence when it calls for it. Even if ultimately the plot must dictate that he can't succeed, at least try to make it believable why he can't do so. Or give a valid reason for it.

Also, gorillas. Preferably gorillas that can wear armor in battle and couple that with a cameo of a naked and drunken Oghren riding a gorilla into battle against the Darkspawn.

Give me that along with a more human-centric plot that doesn't devolve into something like Act III and I'll be more or less happy.

The most interesting race you have created so far are the Qunari. The French prototypes in DA II are boring and the accents are too obviously fake. No depth. No moral standards to be played out. Please "junk" the comic book graphics. Players cannot relate to characters that are cheap caricatures. Characters in Origins were nearly perfect for true RPG players. For comparison purposes, plots/quests in Origins were far more interesting and believable than in DA III. Pls, in future games, do not continue any of the aspects of DAIII beyond the skills tree, and possibly, the fight dynamics. The suggestion above re open ended in the mode of Skyrim is interesting. Pls DO NOT move from "point and click" however.

I would love it if the story was more similar to the way it was in Origins. I got much more involved in the story.
It would also be great if you felt that you were working towards a particular goal in the game. In DA2 you just sort of went along with it, not knowing what the purpose of your journey was until at the end.
Add more interaction with the companions, and it would be great to see a male LI that sees things a bit more lightly than Fenris and Anders. Half the time I spent with them I felt like a therapist.
I know you've said that you won't reuse areas, but I would still like to emphasize that exploring is one of the great parts of the game, and big areas are welcome.
And finally: the loading screens! Ah, the loading screens. Preferably there should be a lot less

*loading the rest of the post*

of the loading screens around. And maybe there could be some way to make them a bit more interesting? :)

Thanks for listening to feedback, I love the games, you've done a great job with them. Looking forward to see what you come up with next!

edit: Concerning the story, I think it would be interesting to see more of Morrigan and her demon baby (if you chose to give it to her), since that part of the story is left unresolved.
I'm also keen to know more about elven history! What happened to the elves to make them outcasts?

my question would be....if our character in DA3 is able to achieve a high social status, like a noble for example, will you try to make some of the quests not feel like an errand? in DA2 i felt like hawke stayed as a glorified errand boy throughout the story. i felt more like a person of high social status as the warden commander in awakenings.

Edit #31312 or something..

I want more Flemeth, Morrigan, Warden, OGB and all the ol'good characters such as Leliana, Alistair, etc. I also would love to see more Cassandra Pentaghast, which, I suspect, we most certainly will see more of in DA3 :)

A bit deeper: Who is Flemeth really, and what is she planning? What is Morrigans ultimate purpose for her child? What role will my Warden, and Hawke for that matter, play in the near future? How is Ferelden faring(Alistair is king on my saves)? There was apparently some hostilities between Orlais and Ferelden, what is happening and what will happen? etc etc etc...

I want to see something graphics wise, more like DA1. DA2 looked very cartoony and the combat just didn't seem like it was as fun as DA1. What DA2 did great in my opinion was the upgrading system. More DA1 then DA2 i guess would be the best way to put it.

I would like to know more about the ongoing hostilities between the Qunari and the Tevinters.

The Qunari society as well. So far in the 1st two games I simply have not liked the Qunari at all and can't sympathize with them in the least. I was not a fan of Sten and hated the Arishok and his henchman. (I'm not saying they were not interesting characters but as a player I simply thought they were totally full of bull whenever questioned about anything.) I assume this is not the true intent for the developers, it will take a lot of effort on their part to make me feel otherwise.

I could care less if we ever revisit the wardens story. Although DA2 was weaker in a number of ways than DA 1 I preferred playing Hawke than playing a Grey warden.

I'd like to see more on the Mage vs Chantry bit as well of course. The discussions from the previous game really showed how the fan base was totally polarized in regards to those two factions were looked at with very little grey area. Most people loved the mages and thought they could do not wrong and hated the chantry or visa versa.

Can you marry someone of the same sex in Thedas.
In Dragon Age people don't seem to mind who you go with, but as history has shown, who you are aloud to love, is different than who you are aloud to marry.

1. What is the true nature of the Old Gods, dragons and how they fit in with the story the Chantry's been telling .. i.e. that the original sin was mankind worshipping these "false" deities? Real gods? Demons? Just dragons?  Evil or not? How does Morrigan's OGB fit in? This may be fodder for the next comic series...

2. Similarly, where do the darkspawn really come from? Are they just a cancer that sprung up from the Deep Roads somehow, or are they really some kind of divine vengeance cast upon the magisters who invaded the Black City?

3. Why are the darkspawn compelled to seek out the Old Gods? And, what happens after the darkspawn find the final two Old Gods? No more Blights?

4. What's the difference between the various "songs" emitted by the red lyrium, the Old Gods and whatever it was Cole heard near the rift in Asunder?

4. Simple character stuff I've been wondering about:
--what are Dalish weddings like?
--why doesn't Cullen have a last name and what's his background? what happened to him after Kinloch Hold?
--will Cullen stand with the Divine or the templars in the mage-templar war?
--was Andraste a mage?

I'd like to know more about Garahel, the elf Warden that stopped the 4th blight. How did his sacrifice affect the way elves were perceived for a time, if at all. What was he like petsonality wise. A comic series would be cool.

Flemeth, what is she? Whats her true origin? And most importantly what is she planning?

Morrigan and what lay on the other side of that mirror. The dragon child and the Warden's fate if he travelled through the mirror with Morrigan (mine did)

Nevarra - i hear it has lots of dragons there and i'd like to know more about the land where the awesome Nyree and Cassandra Pentaghast come from.

Tevinter is always painted as the bad guys, i'd like to hear their side, see through their eyes much like how the origins in DAO gave us a biased viewpoint of a culture. Fenris's sister and Fenris himself, more backstory. Some was revealed but now that i'm intruiged i want more.

Warden HQ and Warden heirarchy

How Ferelden rebuilds post-blight

I would like to travel as well, but also to have the opportunity to reconnect with characters from the first two games (and not just for one cut scene or two, as members of your party). I would also like my decisions to feel like they have more weight. Finally, I think the most important thing to me would to (again, like DA: Origins) be able to play as another species like elf or dwarf (or even Qunari).

  • Who Flemeth really is?
  • Who destroyed the elves & humans in the Brecilian forest ruins or Werewolf Lair as it was in the present, was it simply a blight & darkspawn or something else, perhaps demons? It's only noted that it was something terrible but nothing was specified when you communicated with the Arcane Warrior's spirit trapped within the phylactery.
  • Where is Morrigan & baby? What are they up to?  What happens if Warden went with Morrigan into the Eluvian Mirror?
  • The Black City interested in knowing where exactly this really is, what's it like, and who is ruling perhaps?
  • Was Leliana in "The Seekers of Truth" while traveling with the Warden or Marjolaine, did she join afterwards inbetween Origins & Dragon Age 2? If she was already in while Traveling with Warden was she sent to Fereldan just as Sten to scout? Otherwise how did she slip away from her duties as a seeker and travel with Warden possibly for a while or if you could share more info on how seekers operate, if they can do their own thing unless called upon?
  • Dalish tattoos just more information about them.
  • More information & visiting just Orlais, Par Vollen, and Tevinter Imperium.
  • Besides Mabari hounds would you consider having other animals as companions or elements? Example would be Grand Oak tree, he can talk he can fight, maybe even demons possibly becoming companions as well. Already have shown in Awakening that you could recruit a spirit, you could friend darkspawn & not kill every demon you see such as Sophia.
That is all thank you
