1. Are you going to implement equal number of "evil" options when dealing with quests andor characters?
2. How are you going to solve old problem of casting Blood Magic spell in front of people who hate Blood Mages and they ignore it.
3. Will you aim towards more linear jRPG story approach or shift towards wRPG story with many consequences of your actions a-la Witcher 2 Alpha protocol.
4. Could we hope to see a Desire Demon companion?

+1 to all of these.

And to stay on topic, I would just love to get to visit the tevinter imperium to learn about it first hand.

Obviously, I think the next game, if there is one has to take place in Orlais. A side excursion to Antiva might also be fun.

There must be more resolution to the DA2 plot. It was left with a bit of a cliffhanger, and we really deserve a bit more resolution.

I thought the plot from Awakenings was interesting. I would be interested in knowing more about how the Architect got free from the calling, and whether there might be more.

Provide some final resolution to the identity of Flemeth and her role in all these events. That goes double for Morrigan.

I think you should consider something cosmically epic--like the final return of the old gods. As if both the blight and the freeing of the mages are a part of the plan of the old gods to be free from their imprisonment.

I should add:  What I loved about DAO was the breadth of experience of the world presented.  A fascinating and varied world that kept you interested.  I also like the way your choices mattered in the end, from the allies you could call up, to the way you divided your teams, to the epilogue that was tailored to your choices.  What I liked about DA2 was the depth of the character and his development over time.  I really like the idea of the game unfolding over a long period.  I do wish you would have taken greater advantage of how your decisions in Act One might have affected Act Three, espeiciallh the end, but the idea was sound.  It allows for some much more interesting storytelling.  That was very much aided by a fully voiced game.

Don't know if anybody mentioned it but I'd love one of the nations to be populated by black people. The redguards of elder scrolls are sort of cool (way better than nothing in fantasy gaming) but I'd love to see at least a near all black city with knights, rich lore, and an awesome king. That'd be so ACTIVE! There's no doubt that Dragon Age could kick Elder Scrolls ass up and down the street in that department if you tried.

But I'd settle for making it easier to create a black main character (you guys rocked that back even in Mass Effect 1, what happened?). And a more racially neutral voice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Anyway, don't want to sound too whiny, so thanks for the awesome games (loved both DA 1 and 2) and keep it up.

Oh, and don't care too much for Morrigan plot, but do want more Isabella and Aveline :)

Who doesn't like Fenris?  Great character, lots of interesting development.  Also a great look, background, and fighting style.  Much better than that annoying Merrill.

Reasons why I only played DA 2 just once:

1) what happened to my Warden in DA?

2) hawke is stuck being a human. This worked for Mass Effect 1 - 3...but with how DA started, following their foot steps isn't going to work out (IMO).

3) Anders (and I believe Fenris) will get pissed (earn rivalry points) if your male Hawke rejects their advances/flirts.

Have to give it to Bioware though; it's VERY rare for a developer to put up a forum where fans can give their inputs.

On the other hand it might should earn rivalry points when you sleep with them and dump them right afterwards^_^.
I didn't really see any consequences for doing that.

In particular, I'm keen on the prospect of visiting the ruins of Arlathan one day. I know that the city was destroyed, but I imagine that some part of it might be lying in a cavern somewhere, or is at least accessible. I imagine a sprawling ruin populated by elven ghosts and "sentinels" like the varterral who are still guarding the place. We've spent quite a lot of time plumbing through dwarven ruins; why not visit some elven ones?

I am also eager to visit the Tevinter Imperium one day, particularly Minrathous. I imagine a beautiful city filled with the hallmarks of a forgotten age. I think it would be interesting to see the culture in person rather than constantly hear how evil it is secondhand. (I don't doubt the Imperium is a massive pit of evil, but I'd still like to see it.)

And of course there's the Black City, but I suspect its mysteries won't be revealed for some time.

I agree with getting more in touch with the Qunari race, so we can have more interactions and understandings of their ways. A Qunari party member was something I was looking forward to and hoping for in DA2 when the game was first announced, but it didn't happen.

Hopefully in the new installment we will see a Qunari ally in the party. :)

Hmm let me think ... :

- Morrigan
- My baby ( and if we see him , let him be hot ;D )
- different armor and weapons for each class
- more armors
- equipping of comrades
- better hair options
- better character design with more options
- a mix of DA:O and DA2  combat system ( not so fast )
- the 10 "different" locations were a bad joke
- big world ( musn't be as open as skyrim , but a bit better than DA:O would be nice )

Soo , but the most important TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU NEED !!!
I don`t need that again.

Well , I hope you make it BioWare ;)

2) Companions: Don't listen to people who didn't like Fenris. His growth from angsty tattooed elven slave into chill warrior bro was nice. Aveline not taking romantic hints as she clumsily pursues a handsome guardsman? classic. Just about no one's complaining about the companion interaction from either game. Feel free to play with convention a little! Make your companions interact outright with each other: Alistair was kidding when he said he'd tell all your other companions what you really thought of them, but what if there was a companion who WAS secretly using you for their own agenda, who's going to leave the party unless you can uncover their manipulations and kick them out first? Have a romance where you're the poor patsy for a while. Same sex options are all fine and dandy, but a tragic doomed romance would be nice. Even the chaste marriage option with Sebastian from DA2 was interesting, it'd be completely appropriate for a qunari companion. But it wouldn't mean you loved each other less. I'm not even slightly worried that you'll come up with great companions, yet again. Expand and feel comfortable in the world you've made: lord knows we're enjoying ourselves, right about now. Heck, even watching a companion trying to romance another companion- and the love triangles that might result- would be vastly entertaining.

So the people's opinions are not valid if they didn't enjoy Sebastian or Fenris are not valid if they didnt like those characters? <_<

I personally thought Sebastian was a sanctimonious bore and I only hope he has cameo where hes drunk in a bar.

I didnt hate Fenris but I did get tired of him at times.

Well, I would like to see continuation of history of the gray warden. As far as I remember, was said that the century of a dragon will be time of chaos, blood, death. Well and so, I remember that in the book "Calling" was written that some gray wardens listened to the proposal of dark spawn  Architect and told where there are old gods. With such set it is possible to make the coolest history, for example there is a war with wizards, at this time there is son Morrigan (or the daughter) which absorbs force and souls of other archdemons, become threat number one. Besides on its party rise: many wardens, some kingdoms, many clans of elves and very many people else. Thus the whole world costs on a destruction side, to the gray wardenand his friends should unite conflicting lands. (And still it is possible to add that having killed Morrigan's child who somehow already became adults (someone knows that it with it did) with his death all darkspawn disappear) Forgive for mistakes I Russian, English rather badly I know))) (the Page Item also forgive if neravilno wrote names, and us in translated so)

The Dragon Age franchise should stay where it always belonged: in DA:O territory. Now, I understand how you need to step forward from there. Though I think it's a rather flawless design, I see the certain lack of polish here and there, and the combat was cluncky and felt very aged. But first, here is where I think DA2 failed.

- Level Design.

There is nothing worse that being put into a room you've been in before. It's cheap, and feels lazy. Though I don't think it was the result of laziness, no, especially from you guys. This was EA's doing. I know the devs can't really say much since they are your bosses. But I hope everyone understands how time was pressed on to you.

- Waves.

Not so much that there were waves, but how they were done. Your DLC proved that it can be done, and be accepted as a tactical challange. It's all about presentation in some areas.

- Animations.

The combat was similar, if not the same, infact, I saw it as an improvement. It was quicker, more fluid and the flow was much nicer than before. But as I said before, it's all about presentation. So when you make combat animations as wacky as they were in some cases, then people are bound to call it a hack n slash.

- Marketing.

Nothing to do with the game, I know, but people are attracted to Dragon Age because what they got with DA:O. If David Silverman is promoting this game like if it was a bloody Tekken game, then vad vibes will come all around. Understand this: people are inlove with Dragon Age, because of Dragon Age: Origins. Go forward in your designs, but keep to the same foundation.

- Lack of expansion.

And no, I don't mean the exatled march. I'm talking about act one and act three. These two acts built up to something, but then you cut us short. Act one was the best in roleplaying terms, allowing us to give Hawke motives on why she's doing things a particular way, but as we reached the Deep Roads, we we're never thrilled by mysteries or any foreshadowing... it was all just sudden. We fought, we won, we left. Act three was rushed. I can tell, we all can. But once again, I'm putting the blame on EA.

Now, out of all of those, the top one probably hurt the most. Why?
Because it's so damn obvious that it's pretty hard to look by. When you
have a good game, people will look over the flaws. But when that flaw is
slapping you across the face everytime you go into the next room, a
****storm is bound to happen.

- The Darkspawn.

The new art design needs a revamp. But the darkspawn need to be built from the ground up. But if you could replicate the ferocity of your DA2 Legacy Darkspawn, then I'd be more than happy to see them return.

- Lack of consequence.

Note: not choice, but consequence. Why? Because DA2 gave us a tonne of choices, but in the end, the consequences were very minor. The thrill of an interactive medium is to live with your choices. This is especially important with RPGs. I don't think you have to go very far with it, you've done it before, and it's worked fine.

Now here's a few things I think DA2 did right!

- Companions.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head here. And from all he DA2 fanfic, I think you can tell why. It's a pretty subjective thing to talk about, but I felt that the DA2 companions were more my friends than just 'brothers in arms.' So whatever your doing with your companions, reflect on DA2. But let us talk to the guys whenever we want. You don't have to engage in interesting dialogue at all, you can leave the steps of the relationship via quests like you didn in DA2.

- Combat flow.

Again, you hit the nail on the head. It's faster, more fluid etc... it didn't feel like an action RPG at all, I don't know where these claims come from, but I have my suspicions it's to do with the combat animations. The game was unbalanced at first, though with the 3.0 patch it really fixed things up. The only thing I'd say is to cut the damage from archers by half, those ****ers are dangerous.

- Pre set character development. AKA: Roleplaying with a pre-set character.

I've played a lot of games with pre-set characters. All roleplaying games, three were made by your cousins in montreal. And I know it's harder to roleplay with one.

Alpha Protocol, the Witcher one and two, the ME trilogy... all of them have done it superbly well. But you've beat them all. The way Hawke is shaped by our dialougue choices is really well done, and I've never felt a pre-set character was more mine than I did in DA2. Keep that up.

The only criticsm I can add is just this: expand on the dialogue choices some more. And perhaps, get rid of the paraphrase system. Keep the full line and add the tone icons and you've got your self a solid pre-set character RP experience.

- Choice.

Before I get burned on the steak for witch-craft, I'd like to note that the kind of choice I'm talking about is directly related to the above point.

The choice that impacts our character as a person is another thing that shines in this game, keep at it. Though I'd prefer a silent protagonist, I know your not going to do that again. So it's better to just improve on what you have no?

- DLC

You took your time, and you made bloody good DLC. Make DA3 awesome and do the same, you'll be making pools of money.

There are of course, other minor things that can be put into both sections, though those are the major things you need to focus on.

Now, heres where DA3, and indeed, all DA games should focus on the future...

Build from Origins. You have two games in the franchise and you can clearly see which one is favoured. I have friends who are XBOX360/PS3 junkies who love to go online and swear at kids through CoD. But they have also played Origins, and they loved it. They have never seen anything like it before, and they were amazed.

The Dragon Age franchise can't keep doing a 'DA2.' I loved that game, but I can see it's flaws from Mars. It needs to build from Origins and take ideas from Baldur's Gate. It has to be innovative, but at the same time, keep that same old feel.

And how to do that? Look at your own games, look at your fans, look at your bloody forums! And you are, I know you are. And I wish for the best. And please... whatever you do.

Don't **** up the last 10 minutes of the game

Heres a good video for you to look up. Better constructive critism than I can ever spew.

uhm let s see...

1- i would like to see different stories like dragon age origins
2- different stories mean different races, different society rank etc.
3- of course DO NOT RECYCLE places like in dragon age 2, please.
4- like tradition, i would like to see romances with the characters (hetero, lesbian, gay).and why not, this time you could let have a romance with a sexy dwarf (like varric) lol
5-i really liked that in dragon age 2 the time passes. just there wasn't a lot of difference even if you made different choices during the story. i wuold like to see something that REALLY change considering the decisions you made.
6-i liked the battle animations in dragon age 2. never had a problem with them :)
7- i would like some new classes and new skills :P
8- i would like to see also WATER MAGIC !!! why the water is so discriminated?
9-i would like to play as a qunari or a templar (talking about the different stories like DAO), and see something new about their stories, history , etc.
it would be awsome to be a templar in a country where the mages won.so you ll have to choose if restore the templars , change the templars ideology, or fight at mages side.
and it would be awsome also be a mage in a country where templars won.
just and idea..
oh and grey warden too!
10- of course don't do the mass effect 3 errors: here, i would like to see "friends quests", and IF it will be the LAST episode of DA (which i don't know) , i would like to see a REAL ENding. no, wait, REAL ENDINGS. PLURAL.
11- subquests are always good things if there s a good story behind them. and it would be cool if the subquests could change the events (better or worse, depending what you do).
12- about the story..
i would like to know what happened to ALL the characters (from DA to DA2). possibly NOT with a short story casually told by someone.
13- i would like to know what there s behind flemeth. damn, that witch is a mistery!
14- i would like to explore A LOT of places (and as i said, NOT recycle of places), cities/villages , forests , mountains, etc. well,i don't pretend a skyrim, of course.
15- more varieties of monsters, please!
16- maybe it could be cool a new way to learn classes and skills. i like the tree of abilites (wchich can be used also for the classes).

hope it helped!

Ooooh...

1. Tevinter! I want to go explore Tevinter and the hierarchy of the Magisters.

2. Sebastian. I want to learn what becomes of him after DA2 and what he'll do depending on Hawke's relationship and choices... and I know it's an awkward one to pull off but I do also want to know what happens to that romance if Hawke persued it and if not whether the new protagonist can have a romance.

3. Blood magic and necromancy, just how tied up they are with one another and whether or not you can perform necromancy (like raising a skeleton like you could with the spirit school in Origins) without blood magic.

4. I'd also love to discover and explore more elven ruins, especially if they have ghosts in them.

5. Rivain! I'd love to explore their culture and how they work with spirits.

6. Flemeth. I want to discover another morsel of information about her and her motives, even if it's a confusing riddle.

7. The Old Gods and the Black City.

8. Friends of Red Jenny. Who are these nutcases?! :D Even if we don't learn more of them, please keep including them!

Obviously, who Flemeth really is, where Morrigan went to, and the status of the god-child. Less obvious: where did this hatred of mages come from exactly? What happened to the dragons that caused people to think they were extinct and why are they coming back? What is up with the prophecy given towards the end of DA2? How did the Chantry get so powerful and how did they become so intertwined with the Templar?

I would love to discover entire elf cities that have never been touched by man so that the hatred wouldn't exist. I would also love to discover a new race or two and see how they fit into the world. I want to see more diversity in culture. And I would like to know a lot more about the Tevinter Empire. But even the little details, like Antivan weddings and Orlesian balls, are interesting to me. The more backstory, the better!

This. For the main part.

Also Griffins. I want them to come back, obviously for a good reason but have a means of fast travelling that was a pet much in the way the dog is.

Actually on that subject, the pet section on DA2 felt very very weak in comparison to DA:O, I'd like to see some expansion on that.

I'd like to see a bit more info on like skymetal for instance, I'd that to be a bit more interesting than just a little Superman easter egg.

This, absolutely this. I will happily shell out 10 bucks for every extra year DA3 spends in development. HAPPILY and with a smile on my face, I tell you :D

Seriously, if it's released before 2016 I won't pre-order no matter what Bioware or EA promises us about how awesome the game will be. After that it of course still depends on demos and reviews, but that's my ballpark estimate for avoiding EA-inspired "quickies".

Dear Bioware team! First of all, Thank You! You made my favorite game – Dragon Age Origins! You made me so happy! You gave me 190 incredible hours in DAO as my Steam account insists… So let’s get to the point.

I. What is so unique, so powerful about your games, Bioware? It`s a plot focus, a story, we don`t just play it, we live in it and we think about every step. So, please, more RPG - less action (we have so much action in another games)!
You don`t need open-world, because open world = weak story and boring companion NPC without character (see Elder Scrolls)

II. Leave dialog wheel in the past! It`s just a simplification unworthy for true RPG!

III. Please, return possibility to play as Grey Warden (I like this order very much with it rich history, tradition, self-sacrifice and misty past). And I like to create my character myself with individual origin, unique background, voice, etc, not Mr. Hawke again (I don’t like man with beards, sorry):D

IV. I don`t like part of Orlei as it seen in Mark of the Assassin, orlesians look like clowns, really. :?
I like that dark terrifying heroic fantasy in DAO, so, maybe more darkspawn and Tevinter artifacts?
Also I want to know more about Andraste, her figure was so inspiring, about Black City, last Tainted Gods, Flemeth, Morrigan and her child. I`m personally not interested in Hawke future, or mages vs templars conflict because such conflicts have no resolutions, so they will fight until the end of time.

V. Please, do not hurry with DA3! Take as much time as You need!

More Sandal. I've got to thank you, BioWare. As a parent to a boy with special needs I love the fact that Sandal isn't presented as fodder for cheap jokes or someone to be pitied. He has his own value and is, quite frankly, a badass. Can't wait to see him again.

My favorite part of Origins by far was the gauntlet. You took the character deep into the lore and made them feel like part of the history; it was brilliant. I obviously don't want just another gauntlet, but flushing out the lore and history through gameplay is something I really want. The Black City and Tevinter Imperium are obvious choices for this, but I'd also like to go to the Arlathan forest and see some elven ruins.

Also, can we go somewhere with a warmer climate please? RPG's these days seem so cold.

I enjoyed everything about the grey wardens in DAO,aswell as companion banter and romance option.
I did'nt enjoy DA2 that much.I did'nt feel as connected to the characters in DA2 than in DAO,so hearing about my warden and seeing old companions, was interesting.I got very excited when I saw old companions and then very dissapionted when they left.
So like alot of other people I'd like to learn more about grey warden lore and the return of my grey warden.

There has been a trend of simplifying everything. Too much. Madden's GameFlow. Mass Effect 2's watered down skill trees. Dragon Age 2 (from all the reviews I read). Supreme Commander 2. The disappointment list goes on and on...

I understand the need for mass appeal, and that in the end, you guys need to make money.

Just remember, that the hardcore fans still make a good chunk of your fanbase. I happily paid for Mass Effect 1 and Dragon Age. I got disappointed by ME2 so much that I was cautious with Dragon Age 2. From all indications, DA2 was gonna be watered down. From the demo and the reviews, it was.

ME1 and DA1, I played for 100+ hours each. ME2, 10 hours and it got old. The story was just as good, but the gameplay felt neutered. I no longer cared about getting guns or leveling up, like I did in ME1. The different weapons hardly set themselves apart anymore... the "variety" was more like oh, this does 3% more damage than the last one. Yay. From everything I read about DA2, again it seemed like it was watered down. Every company was watering down their products and I just got sick of buying multiple products that gave me the same feeling.

So many of my beloved franchises and games were trending toward "just press one button and let the computer do the rest". They all started feeling the same. Lost what made them special.

Dragon Age was special. It brought back that tried and true Baldur's Gate formula which was as sweet as it was in 1998, and built gameplay enhancements and gave me a whole new breathing world. Mass Effect was an amazing mix of FPS and RPG. They were unique, and nothing else was like it on the market.

Keep the core of the game that keeps it unique from other genres. Don't let me feel like I'm playing Gears of War when I am playing Mass Effect 2. Don't let me feel like I'm playing just another action RPG when I'm playing Dragon Age 2.

That's tricky to do, of course, in a sequel. But you've already done it before. For instance - Knights of the Old Republic was incredible. How do you retain the core of what made it special, but make it feel like a new game? You followed it with Jade Empire, which kept a lot of what made KOTR special but brought about amazingly fun new gameplay with the way you implemented the martial arts. It would take especially good work to make up for the loss of the Star Wars franchise. Guess what, you did it.

I'd love to come back to Bioware, guys... it was hard to break up with you after 12 years. You lost me with ME2 and then DA2. I hope DA3 can bring me back by showing me that you still make unique products that get me excited time after time as each new title, sequel or franchise came out. Just like you did from 1998-2010.

For now, I'll look forward to Borderlands 2. BL was a unique product, and from the looks of BL2, they didn't water it down. They kept what made it special, and they're adding innovation on top of it. They didn't change it into Gears of War or something else to try and appeal to everyone and be master of none. There is no Auto-level up option, auto-combat option or different guns losing unique properties and feeling mostly the same, or companions that auto-fight for you, or auto-heal in the same way that every shooter seems to implement these days.

There was a recent article called "How Yahoo killed Flickr and Lost the Internet". (http://gizmodo.com/5...st-the-internet) I sense that after EA's acquisition, the same thing is happening to BioWare.

Another example - Disney almost killed off Pixar after acquiring them by trying to make Pixar fit the model of Disney, rather than let Pixar do what they did best. Disney wanted Toy Story 2 to fit what Disney's execs wanted, with crass adult humor and a mean spirited Woody. This almost killed off Pixar before they were able to convince Disney to let them do what they do best. Had Disney continued to meddle, we wouldn't have had Toy Story 2/3, Cars, Ratatouille, Up, and so many of the other classics.

Here's hoping DA3 and BioWare goes back toward being truly unique again.

1. I really enjoyed the fact that i could talk face to face with my party at any time in DAO, that built relationships friendly or romantic.
