In DA:O I really enjoyed playing as a dwarf, plus the origins stories at the beginning were mostly great and made me want to try to play again as a different character (not just different class, but different race and origin). DA2 is inferior compared to that. I also liked DA:O for it's scope - great war of an epic scale. So my hope for DA3 is that origins stories with different races will come back, and the story of DA3 will take place in some epic times, great in their scope.

I'm sure a few of these has been posted already, but:
1) Where did Morrigan go? I'd like to know what happened to her or at least catch a glimpse as to what she's doing behind the scenes before she returns... if she returns.
2) Expand on whether Cassandra found Hawke and if Leliana found the Warden, and what their intentions are with them.
3) Where'd my DA2 crew and what happened to them? In Origins we were provided a very adequate and strong sendoff for characters we had grown to call friends. In DA2, they just leave. I cared about quite a few and was looking forward to seeing what happened to them. Did Merrill take my advice and stay with me by surrendering her hellbent journey at putting herself at risk? Did Isabella end up leaving for another seafaring adventure with her greased up sailors? And did Fenris forego his magic bigotry and find peace, or is he just as fiery as before?
4) Varric was easily one of the most appreciated characters in DA2, will he make another appearance and what was his fate after the interrogation?
5) Will the cancelled Exalted March be placed into the upcoming game? I was extremely saddened when I found out it was cancelled. Both Legacy and the Mark were both loved DLC's for me, so I was excited as to what would be churned out.
6) Shed a bit more light on the elven gods and the Maker.
7) I want to know if we'll run into Corypheus again and if there is some ties between he and the Architect as they have the same anatomy.
I'm sure there is so much more, but I'm tapped for the moment. I will say on a side note, there are quite a bit of improvements I'd like made. Please make looting more rewarding and distinct like in Origins, DA2's felt lacking; please keep building on the fluidity and fun combat DA2 brought to the table; I'm fine with going the DA2 approach on companion armor so long as you give us options on how we may customize their unique looks, while retaining that individuality; please don't place too much of a heavy emphasis on politics; and coming from an always human background player, bring try to bring back different races for others as I know how cherished that was. I hope this helps and I apologize for the ranting, the DA series is quite a favorite of mine and I would like to say I did everything I could to help it continue on being a great series.

1) What if the incident with the qunari in DA2 provoke a mass qunari invasion?
2) Will the Dalish ever rebell against people and try to revive their culture? (By using Eluvians for example)
3) Discovering some old elven or tevinter ruins will also be interesting
4) Will we meet somniari Feynriel again?
5) And please improve shapeshifters and add them to the game

- Origin-like Background for the Main Character.
- A Background First Scenario in every other kingdom, and from the 2nd/3rd "mission", the game really get's onward the main campaing.
- Tal-vashoth and Saarebas Qunari Background
- Anderfels Grey Warden Background
- Chasind Background
- Rivain Background
- Tevinter Noble Background
- Orlais Exile Background
(or any of the Pen & Paper RPG backgrounds)
More Differente Specializations
And SPELLS LIKE ORIGINS, more strategic style and roleplay importance.

I would love to see the continuation from DA Origins with Morrigan's baby (and no the download content did NOT satisfy that desire in the least-just left more questions). There is a good end of the world story there I just know it. More importantly I want to be able to have more control over the race I could pick from in any sequel (Elf/Mage/Human/Dwarf) and more companion interaction!

I want more about the wildlings (?) cannot remember their names, they had so time, but they lived on the fringes of civilization, were humans, painted themselves, were accused of cannibalism or something.

Please make the next story based on the Dragon Age: Asunder novel. I want to play as Rhys the son of Wynne and the unknown Templar. I want to be a powerful warrior mage that uses armor as oppose to a mage robes, and has the options to go into battle with either a staff or weapons that are restricted to mages (Spellweaver).
I would also like a DLC on the story of Morrigan and her son (the old god) that could be a Witch hunt 2 and would act as a prequel to Dragon Age 4 the return of the old god. Where the old god (which is now 100 times more powerful then the archdemon) and his army of a new type of darkspawn comes to take over the world. King Alistair and the Wardens have to save the world by uniting all of the countries to fight this new threat. And this time Flemeth is able to join your party. Flemeth is the best weapon against the new old god but even Flemeth needs the help of King Alistair and the Wardens.
I hope this idea makes it to the board room.

I would like much more representation from every human nation except Ferelden. If not all of them, then at least show that many non-Ferelden humans are as important, if not more so. I can accept the dog-land as some distant background for the protagonist and maybe his/her companions as was the case for DA2, but I have no particular respect or fondness for Ferelden and what it represents in our actual world. Let Ferelden feature into the story if it must, say if Flemeth has particular beef to resolve. But don't let it pretend to be more or better than what it actually was, the way DAO tried to. Individuals like Anders, Aveline, Flemeth, and even Morrigan are merely exceptional specimens; they're not indicative of any common redeeming qualities among their countryfolk.
Rivain(?), Antiva, and Orlais(?) are areas with richer promise of depicting life that fantasy RPGs traditionally just fetishize or gloss over. Intrigue with subtle monsters, instead of obvious ones. Masked? Unmasked? I'm simplifying, but if anyone remembers the plotting in KOTOR's Korriban Academy, let that be an example. In the case of Orlais ust magnify it ten-fold for DA3 because of the lead-in stakes and hopefully more sophisticated audience capabilities. It would be a joy to navigate the scandals, double-speak, and assassinations.
Whatever else, we need to be among more humans who are dark, or if not dark, then at least not 99% white like the ones we've seen so far. If we're going to see insulting feudal societies as the vehicle for narrative, then they cannot be allowed to feign ignorance towards the people they try to dominate. It's good that DA2 criticized this feature about itself, but now we need more. Include more cultures that exhibit "tribal" sentiments instead of "feudal," but without relying on the cop-out of using Celtic elves to characterize Native Americans. Include civilizations or societies with lots of gender parity, race-mingling or even confusion, same-sex relationships, even multi-partner relationships. These examples do not and should not be exclusively relegated to obvious "others" like non-human elves living in tribes or exile. We need to see thriving human nations in the DA universe that function without the stereotypical medieval hangups, and yes they should also have their own warts.
I'm not saying that a culture needs to be uniform when it comes to any obvious trait. Sometimes the only characteristic the members might share could be ideologies. Their skin colors, sexual orientations, ages, class backgrounds, etc., can all be a mixture truly jarring and out of the ordinary for those of us who demand quantifiable reassurances. RL example would be gamers. As for in-game examples- we saw in DA2 that the Chantry's preachings are not the only metaphysical feelings people look to. Most of these "others" did not come with an obvious blueprint for display. A good example of such was DA2 Isabela's characterization and her experiences. The Qunari and elves were more expository, and those two groups' manifestations ended up respectively flattering and unflattering. Isabela and the Qun(?) were manifestations that did not make me feel dumber by the second the way the elves often did. More show and less tell would've sufficed for the elves: Keeper's arrival in the Alienage was one of the best moments in DA2. Unlike the more frequent times when she was tasked to educate gamers who demanded info.
I don't care much about the Blight because so far it's been nothing more than one of those issues for people to capitalize upon if they're privileged and wannabe a hero or pimp. The Blight is an unknowable enemy supposedly meant to unify the common people, yet we've actually been given very little chance to "live among" and know the people, save for white humans who are mostly heteronormative and God-fearing. They are the ones who demand exclusivity for making all the noise about outsider hordes encroaching. That message fails to make the Blight relevant to me. DA2 was an improvement as far as shifting focus to address the people who remain demonized or excluded whenever a stereotypical macro crusade goes viral. DA2 had its own macro crusade, but I liked how its version combined issues that have been staring us in the face, instead of some traditional tale that is commonly reserved for "heroes." DA3 should continue on that vein, but expand upon it by going full-bore into real-world places that traditional RPGs have been loathe to dignify.
Mechanics-wise I liked DA2's evolving personality profiles for Hawke. I don't think all 3 of them were equally well-acted or written, but I liked the intent. (The silly one grated on my nerves because it could've benefited more from acid tones and dark humor, instead of relying on perkiness to oversell the "funny.") I also liked the friendship/rivalry system as far as roleplaying. Not so much the meta-gaming.
I loved DA2's character creator, its re-usability, and its presets.
Put DA3 on something like the Unreal engine. Something, anything that optimizes framerate and responsiveness.
In short: more like DA2, less like DAO.

I want to know what happened to Morrigan's (not to say my) child, what Flemeth is up to and where the Architect went (provided he survived Awakening).
Also, I want to learn more about red lyrium, as well as the qunari and especially the kossith; we learned quite a bit about the qun in DA2, but we know next to nothing about the kossith(I want to see a kossith female!)

Hello!!!
I would definitely like to know more about:
the Golden/Black City, Arlathan, Old Gods, Tevinter Magisters, Archons, first Darkspawn (particularly interested in what happened to the Architect and Corypheus), Merrill's Eluvian etc.
The Dragons and their connection to the witches of the wild
Flemeth, Morrigan and definitely the fate of her Old God Baby!
Perhaps a reborn, dwarven version of Shale
I would like to see and learn more about Sandal, Asunder's Cole and Feynriel
And why not see some Griffons??? Yayyy!
Finally, I would like to have an epic arch-nemesis, such as the Archdemon or Corypheus
That's all for the moment!!!

Tons more exploration and adventure
Romances that have dates, quest, a build up
Friendships with quest that make you friends, perks, special events, accidental romances from friendships, (dating 1 companion and a sudden 1 night happens with a drunken friend and a fight happens and you have to pick a side that in the end, will be your romance, maybe the looser in the fight leaves party)
More dragons
Id like to see more on Flemeth and Morrigan and if they truly are the same person?
More on Mages and Templar war
The truth behind Lyrium and the chantry's hold on it.
Visit Orleas
More on Qunari
More on Spirits and Ghost (Mentioned in Asunder)
Some real lure on lyrium in making its way into the game instead of just a SP fill
Arcane Warriors
Deeper look into the old gods, Dark Spawn and if they originally were all human etc
How many grey wardens didnt die when going to their "calling"
More on Fiona
More on Leliana
Hawke's rise to power actually shown instead of plot lines given to us or an ending to Hawke's story.
What happened to the demon child we had? What the warden is up to?
Horse battles
Sea battles(?)
Like to see the world go more in the direction of Kingdoms of Amalur in scope, cities and exploration, but keep the DA2 combat style.(DLC Legacy style)
Character models in an Uncharted 3 style when it comes to modeling and texture work. The armor look of DA2 or DA3 test pics look fine.
Need a hair modeler specialist(have both historical accurate hair styles and modern) Saints Row 3rd has amazing hair styles(not same type of game, but they have superior customization in every right and DA is an RPG series...
Story wise, DAO had a better way of telling the story. DA2 was lost in translation and often made user feel like they werent in control, watching from the side and missing 9.5 years worth of content and being told they did something by a stranger claiming they knew them. If time has passed in story, there needs to be proof of it. Land should change in some way, buildings, people, clothes, Weather, etc.

You guys made the best RPG with Origins. Yes it's great to build away from it but use the same foundation! I'll keep it short and number the fundamentally sound and originally imaginative ideas that made Origins the success.
1) Multiple beginnings and multiple ends -- Fans appreciate when they can tell that a lot of hard work was put into a game. The combination of different stories you could have was just simply an amazement that I have never experienced before. But be sure to keep the motifs where they belong. Revenge, politics, family, culture, equality, and goodness should all be motives. More importantly, how you use them as motives. The use of revenge in human noble's story was spot on perfect. Culture for the elv's story was good. THE KEY problem you guys made in DA2 was that you overused the theme of equality in reference to mages. Everyone was sick of that theme by the end of Awakening with Anders.
2) The enemy -- Darkspawn were perfect because they were unarguably evil. Do not put a moral twist to it by making them talk and wanting treaties. Make them as ugly as ever and it really doesn't need to go further than that. Yes a master of puppets is fun but don't make the pawns any more elaborate. Why do people love zombies?? Because they're a big threat and evil. You guys instead made darkspawn a small threat in DA2 and tried to become How i met your writers by trying to throw us off with whether or not mages should be trusted. The hero doesn't want this huge decision that impossible to know. The hero wants an enemy that is definitely evil and there is no exceptions to why they should exist.
3) The campfire / conversations -- BRING BACK THE CAMPFIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first game to make you want to linger at the sell & repair part. Having a peaceful setting with angelic music in the background made the campfire my favorite place in all of Fereldon. I know it's strange but I had more fun relaxing at the campfire talking with my companions than I did exploring and fighting. There was a depth to each character that made each one lovable. You even made a jerk like Sten lovable by giving characteristics like a sweet tooth. Also the companions arguing with each while you are just walking around made it feel real. I enjoyed talking with my companions, finding out their backstory and what I should and should not say to them. IMO this was really lacking in DA2 (and SWTOR) as well as the characters not being 'lovable'. Find those great voice actors that you had for origins. Claudia Black, Steve Valentine, & Corinne Kempa were amazing. You could tell they really got into their characters. DA2 voice acting felt like they were trying too hard.
4) A world worth fighting for -- I honestly didn't care if Kirkwall was overrun with demons, darkspawn, etc. The landscape wasn' t appealing. In Fereldon, you could look around and admire the beauty. It gave you the motive to save a beautiful world. The forests, mountains, caves, castles, villages were all pieces of art that wasn't reused.
5) The hero -- Grey Wardens must be brought back. I would rather fall on a sword than have to hear the work "Hawke" again. The champion that everyone hated. The grey warden was great because he went through real struggles like lost a family right before his eyes so then gave his life to a worthy cause. They were hated yet revered. The hated heroes with one purpose, vanquish darkspawn. Bring back the ritual
6) Mini quests or major quest -- DA2 mainly consisted of small quests that was a waste of time and felt like a grind. Go back to the origins formula. The whole time you are focusing on the large quest of forming treaties and do semi-major quests to make it happen. Mini-quests should ONLY occur if it is not an inconvenience (i.e. "oh look a plant that someone needed and it's on the way. Might as well pick it up")
7) Unvoiced Protagonist -- An RPG is all about the player being pulled into a story where they are the protagonist. The best RPG of all time (popular opinion, not mine) is Zelda. The protagonist, Link, can't talk and yet it is a huge lead against any other RPG. Origins protagonist had no voice which made it easier to be pulled into your character. Hearing some voice that you wouldn't picture your character sounding like is a huge turn off. Your chactacter having a voice didn't work in DA2, didn't work in SWTOR, and it won't work in DA3.
8) Dialogue -- I'm sure a bioware worker is all happy that he thought he was 'innovative' by brining in the shortened dialoge options of 1. Yes / good 2. Maybe / neutral 3. No / evil decisions. Well I say this is a bad idea. I want to know exactly what I am saying and I don't want to know if it is evil good or neutral. It is all relative to which companion you are speaking to. Bring back the full list of sentences that you could say so I know exactly what i'm communicating. Conversations go 2 ways, not a one way street with yes or no dialoge. Also the writers were comedic, daring, and original with the options that you could say in Origins. Dialogue in DA2 made me fall asleep.
Minor suggestions
-better kill blows (automatic for captains)
-improved death animations
-bring back leather armor style for rogues in DAO
-get rid of the repeated auto-attack from DA2. Got bored of seeing my rogue do the same moves and you are missing the point of faster combat. (animations for combat has nothing to do with faster combat)
-allow companions to wear your armor
-more companion specific gifts that had story (Like alistair's necklace)
- Increase racial tensions and not mage chantry tension.
-Make chantry pure again, it felt like it was the crusades in DA2. Bring back the "may the maker watch over you" and the chantry bow. These small norms gives you an idea of the culture.
-Bring back the qunari that we liked in DAO, in DA2 they were the opposite of reasonable and logical. Also get rid of their horns
.. I will say that my favorite part of DA2 was trying to convince the Saarabes not to kill himself. It shows their anal obsession with their way of life.

F L E M E T H !!What kinds of things would you like to discover and learn about the Dragon Age world?
I know that she is one of the big mysteries you have for us in Thedas, I merely included her just to say that I'm a fan and I definitely want more stuff about her in the future. I know better than to expect grand revelations or anything broad like that, but that's half the fun of her character!
Other than going here or there, or this and that place and learning about the people and cultures there -- normal in any succeeding games -- I would say one of the biggest concerns to me is that the lore and specifics regarding blood magic is fleshed out properly. At PAX East, David mentioned wanting to show more of the mind control aspect, and I heartily agree. Other than a couple of references to that (with Warden's Keep in DAO and Idunna in DA2), most of the blood magic in both games has revolved around demons. Those demons being enemies you can see, hear, and fight makes them less of a threat in my mind than the ability to control a monarch or other leaders, endangering the welfare of entire nations with a single well-placed decision by a controlled person.
The other main thing I am interested in is Kal-Sharok. I quite enjoyed the whole Orzammar and deep roads aspect in DAO. I would really like to go to Kal-Sharok, see how it compares to Orzammar in design, leadership, and struggles against the darkspawn.

I personally would like to see what happened to Flemeth, Hawke, and the Warden. Another thing that would be really interesting to see is all the small things in the Dragon Age world, there is so many unanswered questions.

I would love to see Orlais, and Tevinter. Also, horses... Chevaliers have to have horses to ride, right?
But as long as you keep up the tradition of awesome characters and story from the past two, I'll be happy.

Maybe not in Dragon Age 3 but in a side game or expansion/spin off I'd like to the series to return to Hawke. Dragon Age 2 had a lot of mixed results mostly because it was a different type of tale than in Origins. Origins was the 'whole world at stake' danger with the hero having to save it by gathering and uniting the forces past the petty problems they had with each other. In a sense Origins was epic because at it's core it's a journey to save the world from an Old God with the Player Character and their companions.
Dragon Age 2 was much slower in terms of pacing because unlike Origins (which was about journey to save the world) DA 2 was a Character Piece about 'your' Hawke and how they dealt with everything that happened around them. It was a much more personal story in the sense that you 'became' Hawke more so then your Warden(at least for me anyway.) Looking back at Origins and what Origin you chose for your Warden you'll notice that your past defines you(as does any Origin story, even in DA 2) but it's slightly impersonal compared to DA 2. As a Human Noble in Origins you see your father and mother killed with your older brother MIA but it doesn't cause you to feel any real attachment to your 'family.' You feel bad for them and will avenge them but it's still impersonal. Origin is more focused on the epicness of the journey(which is pretty epic
) with the personal things taking a step back. Virtually every Origin is like this, you feel for your character's hardships but it's a bit impersonal while DA 2 is the exact opposite.
DA 2 is the more personal Tale because it's about your Hawke and how they reacted to events around them, the choices they did and didn't make and effects they had in the long run. I 'became' my Hawke in DA2, a good guy, an average Joe who was just trying to the good thing and make a better life for his little sister Bethany and his mother. It became very personal for me because I grew attached to my Hawke and his family, when Bethany was taken to the Circle I was upset that she were gone and it affected my Hawke's attitude the whole 'she's alive but I couldn't keep her safe from the Templars' thing. Then later in Act 2 when my Hawke got reunited with his little sister Bethany for a short time it felt more personal and I was happy to see her again, same goes for the DLC (which I always brought her along in.) Then in Act 3 my Hawke sided with the Mages and fought alongside Bethany for the good of all Mages even though my Hawke wasnt' one himself. It felt very personal and I liked the family relationship you're allowed to craft in DA 2. DA 3 sounds like it be more of Origins with the epic journey because of whole 'saving the world from itself'' thing if Bioware still uses that but I like the closeness I crafted with between my Hawke and Bethany in DA 2. I'd very much like to see that continued with Hawke being the Player Character in DA 3(I doubt it but I can hope) and their siblings(assuming they survived) playing an integral role with whatever Hawke's storyline would be. I could salso see it as a spin-off or an expansion that would be similar to Mass Effect by importing your Hawke and their story to match the new storyline. If Hawke's sibling survived they'd be with them along with Hawke's romanced parnter from DA 2 there as well from start to finish. (Technology wise I know it sounds difficult but i think it can be done if handled with care.) I'd buy that game in a heartbeat and I'd replay it to correspond with all my various playthroughs of DA 2. Warden Bethany/Carver, dead Bethany/Carver, or rouge Templar Carver and rogue Apostate Bethany along with the various romances.

If Tevinter is supposed to represent Byzantium (with the split in the church, dangerous politics etc.) I'd love to see its society represented in a way not screaming "evil."
I'd love to explore it and discover its wealth of knowledge, its capability in protecting its citizens from dark spawn and Quanari, how the daily lives of its people seems far easier and better than in Ferelden etc. I mean, an Empire which makes full use of its magic users and possesses a certain ruthlessness (vis a vis slaves and foreign policy) should be both powerful and proud.
I'm also a huge fan of Antiva - in my mind this nation resembles Howard's Zingara. Swashbuckling action, dangerous and beautiful women, dark secrets and political intrigue.
In short; I guess I'm most interested in discovering the character of these nations and people, thier history and having a chance to direct thier developement i.e. pick a side during the Three Queens era in Antiva, or choose to help the Tevinter Imperium in putting down a slave revolt or not (Elven Spartacus?!)

I'd love hearing more about the Circles of Magi and what happens after the events which took place in DA2. Also, it would be great to know more about Ferelden's culture and society. You know, a little bit more specific. Also, are there any other cults aside from the Chantry that are recognised? What happens if they aren't? Which other countries are present in Tamriel?
A little bit of Elven History wouldn't be bad at all!

Things I would like to discover..
1) more about societies, lifestyles and intrigues/rivalries in other countries such as Tevinter and Antiva (the most intriguing countries significantly mentioned so far)
plus (of course)
2) more of the mysteries of Morrigan and Flemeth
3) what happened to the Grey Warden and Hawke
