The Chasind. We've only seen glimpses of them so far, I'd love to learn more about their culture.
How the Wardens operate. Is there a hierarchy of a sort? Do the Warden-Commanders of each country operate as they see fit, or do they have to follow a directive or such from the First-Warden? Do they get along?
More about the Fade and how the Veil works. Do spirits and demons get along all the time? Have spirits ever accidentally wandered into the mortal realm (not like Justice, who was sent there, but like demons step in through the weakened Veil in Kirkwall. Could spirits do that?)
Antiva - the politics and the assassins, how those are so tied up into each other and how Zev's war with the Crows affects the country as a whole.
Tevinter - I highly doubt that all the mages there are like Danarius. Is there an underground railroad of sorts for slaves and how dangerous is it? (I imagine lethally dangerous)
Nevarra - purely curious here, I haven't seen much mention of it and I wonder what's hiding there.
Orlais - not so much the politics, but the culture of the place.
More on the Black City and how it became black. Did the magisters corrupt it, or was it black when the magisters got there? Is that where the darkspawn came from? Where did the darkspawn come from, anyway?
And definitely more about Flemeth and Sandal. Where did Flemeth learn that dragon trick? Is Sandal a dwarven mage?

I would like to see the beginnings of the grey wardens/blight. I would also like to see the tevinter imperium during the time of the old gods (ie dragons).

Wow... ok i wanna know too. I guess i also want more on the dwarf becaus my Warden is Dwarf Noble Origin and i love the old roads and Orzammar. Everything about it from their religion, the way they spoke, their customs, and the beautiful design of Orzammar in Origins. Orzammar felt so vast and then vaster again when i returned again. I have a feeling in DA2 there was some friction with how people talked in a Lord of a Ringsian seriousness in Origins, but now they sound crass and modern. I like the the dramatic stuff and political intruige. I love Varric but i miss Dwarfs that are close to the stone, even if they're wrong. And a dwarf who likes wine and song doesnt have to act like Oghren or Varric but can be somewhere inbetween and more like the King father, wise traditional and... epic. Take me to an epic place in DA3. I wanna feel like i'm in an 80s dark fantasy film again with blood trail maps large feeling locations, and less anime more traditional fantasy characters.Shazzie wrote...
The Fade interests me a great deal. Particularly the Black City, so I would love to find out more about the Fade and the myths about the Black City and making it Golden again.
Dwarven history is also very interesting. The Primeval Thaig, how Dwarves are magic resistant, and all that. (And please bring back female Dwarves.)
One thing that my brain really wants answers to is the 'riddle' of Sandal's 'prophecy' and the Nexus Golem.
Golem: The Stone lives beneath Orlais. Mathas gar na fornen pa salroka atrast. Amgarrak tapped the blood, spilled within the Stone. We were once more than we are.
I don't know if that was intended to actually mean anything, but oh jeez it has been rattling in my brain since I heard it. And Sandal's 'prophecy': One day the magic will come back. All of it.
Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide.
When he rises, everyone will see.
Heck, I don't know if those were just throw-out lines, red herrings, or whatever, but the two have been kicking around in the corners of my mind ever since I heard them. Especially the lines: "We were once more than we are" and "Everyone will be just like they were". The juxtaposition of those two just pings my brain like CRAZY.

Dragon's Dogma has griffons in it? Damn, I wanted Dragon Age to do it first... stoopid Capcom lol.

2. I want to learn more about the Qunari.
3. Who is Sandal? Why is he able to enchant things? And what was Sandal’s prophecy about?
4. I really, really want to know more about the Primeval Thaig. I was so disappointed when that part was left unexplained.
5. Who was the Warden that Cassandra mentioned at the end of DA2? (My Warden was dead so if they were talking about that Warden then, I hope it was a glitch.)

And while they're down there the mages overthrow the chantry and Par Vollen freaks out and invades and Orlais is in chaos cause the chantry got exploded and the elves and dwarves are like "screw you crazy humans" so by the time Hawke and the Warden resurface the world's overrun with Qunari, mages who may or may not use blood magic, and the fade is so messed up from all the mage/spirit/demon action it bleeds over which somehow reveals the path to the black city...
And your dogs have puppies. Lots of puppies.
That's feasible...right?

They can retcon Alistair's face though, poor sod looks like he's eaten a few too many Orlesian cheeses.

I would love to see both the Warden and the Champion together (with their LI's
Exploring more of the world would be nice, that was the only thing I wasn't a fan of in DA2, being 'trapped' in Kirkwall.
Also, when having characters from previous games (allistar, and zev), can they look normal and not horribly transfigured??!
Would love to find out what happened with Morrigan and her child, specially on the play thru where its my own kid. (dun dun dun)
I would love to see Antiva and find out more about the Crows, (and hopefully my warden is now in charge with Zev
So in short, party banter, Antiva, Qunari(females), Par vollen, and more storyline with previous characters
Kneel before Todd!!!!!!!!!!

Like I've read earlier, any backstory that you can come up with will be awesome. Getting into the depths of the world is awesome. Especially if you need to dig a little. Not always getting clear answers immediately. What I have in mind is the Origins, where you learned much different things depending on who you were. Also who you support and what people are your friends.
That's what I can come up with that I find important atm. But once again, Templars. (!)

Well, that and I'd really appreciate it if there was NOT a member of the party this time that had no self confidence and whined a lot. More wit, less moaning. Alistair and Anders both were grating on me.
All that, and keep the mages dramatically overpowered. It's more fun that way.

connected to the culture and our primary interaction with the alienage elves
has been stepping in to save them from something. In Act 2 of DA2 we see hints
of interesting stuff with the Elven Fanatic who steals the gas from the Qunari
and the large number of elves who help the Qunari during the invasion, which I
feel could have been explored more. Hawke doesn’t really interact with the
elves though, which is both disappointing and somewhat a relief, because the
last thing I want is a non-alienage elf PC coming in to be all Great White
Savior.
I want a story about community, about identity. I want to
see their struggles in a way that celebrates, not pities. Quite possibly in non-game
form since what I really want would be an even more intimate story than DA2 was
and require the PC be a city elf and likely most theoretical companions to be elves
as well. Shianni rocks Thedas Blaxploitation style would be fun, though an elf companion in
DA3 who was connected to and cared about the alienage would also be nice.
On a slightly different, but related note, I want to see
more culture in general. When The Silent Grove was announced I was excited to
see Antiva, but we really didn’t see it in the comic. We saw an overhead view
of a settlement I dearly hope wasn’t supposed to be Antiva City because it was
far too small, the inside of an archive, and a prison. There was no interaction
with locals that wasn’t a fight. A few panels with street scenes in the background
to show off architecture, clothing, food, and daily life would have gone a long
way to giving Antiva a solid feel without slowing down the action.
I am reminded that back in the day Star Wars released a
series of short story anthologies about really minor background characters (Tales
from the Mos Eisley Cantina and Tales from Jabba’s Palace being two examples). They
may have also does something similar with short comics. I think that sort of
thing would work nicely, you could explore quite a lot of different perspectives
and experiences, the whole writing team could participate, and, if done as a comic,
you could have multiple artists. I know I would read Tales from the Blooming
Rose to find out all about who Serendipity and Jethann are as people, or, to go
back to my earlier thoughts, a city elf anthology.

The coolest thing about DA" was the relationships you could have with your party members (and more importantly; friends). It would be really cool if a future game was based more on building relationships with powerful people than cutting down an endless supply of ninjas on your midnight stroll. The setting is a little too well written to be used for mindless slaughter (I think I have killed more people in self defence as Hawke than I could ever hope to save).
Given that a lot of people seem to wish for a setting in Orlais, Antiva and the Tevinter imperium (Something I'd LOVE to see) I think a system like that and a focus on intrigues would be absolutely awesome, and well received. Especially now that Game of thrones is so popular (and we all know it's because of Tyrion Lanister, plots and intrigues).
Lastly I wish for more Zevran, Anders, Varric, Merryl and Shale. In one way or another. More Fade. Where does the dwarves go when they dream?
And I would not be terribly sad if there was a new protagonist who got the mission to hunt down Hawke. That could potentially be really, really awesome (and a good reason to "reunite" with some characters).

Secondly i think it could be great to learn more about the total war between mages and the Church. Some strategy actions could come in handy, too - like making decisions about what direction to hit. Territory control in some could be great too.
And lastly more elves please.
