looked at D3 when it was announced and then neversince (as a lot of friends said the things blizzard is doing is crap). Then the beta weekend came and I gave it a try and it reminded me more of D1 then D2 and that made me happy (hated D2). Will defiitely play it, the parcel is already on the way here.
I dont know for how long I will play D3, but most likely the same time as ME3 (sp+mp) but definitely not like ME2

. WIll not play ME3 until Im done with D3 and after this, there should be the extended cut and maybe some DLCs, we will see.
@astheoceansblue no idea what you mean
In what way is ME3 different gameplaywise? it plays just like Unreal back in the 90s, like any other fps, oks its 3rd pv but what? As already stated, regenerating shields came with Halo and having a couple of "skills" isnt realy that new. Henchmen (thats what it was called earlier -> squadmates for anyone who dont know) neither. THe only thing why ME3 stands out of the FPS crowd is the setting (btw RPG elements are so darn toned down since ME2, you cant even call it an RPG anymore and if you do, you have to call D1-3 RPG too) between all the COD and BF games.
So and you have a problem with "customization" ?What one? Want to have the D2 skilltree back? For what? THere were 1-2 paths for every class and EVERYONE skilled that way, the skilltree was useless. Now you have left attack, right attack and 4 hotkey skills. Per level you get a skill activated and you can assign it, later on you get runes to empower your skills. As you can have only 6 actived at one time, thats quite enough "customization" because you know what? D3 is just an action-rpg (hack n slay) on the other hand, ME3 is just a shooter-rpg. Whatever, you may have your opinion

.... oh and one last thing, the customization of attributes did sound bad to me, but during beta it didnt bother me ONE bit (and as comparison to Skyrim... TES Arena/Daggerfall have had a billion of various stats you could customize and that had an effect on your char, and now look at Skyrim... nothing left. Even Oblivion had more)
Whatever, I will enjoyed ME3 (minus the ending) and I will enjoy D3 and I will play it for the next 10 years, the next interesting title is about to hit the shelves in a couple of months. And you know what, people will ask "will you leave D3 because of xy?"
