Will you really leave Me3 for Diablo III?

ME (series, I love space opera's), Fallout New Vegas, and Forza are the only games I spend any real time in these days.

I enjoyed Diablo II at the time, however after looking at screenshots/gameplay footage over the past year or so for D3....I have zero desire to play it....let alone blow $60 on it. Looks like they just updated the graphics from Diablo II and that's it. An 11 year wait for this? *yawn* I'll pass.astheoceansblue wrote...
I know horde mode with limited options is geting stale for some, but I played the beta of D3 and it was one of the most underwhelming experiences I've had in years...
Did those of you who've tried it actually enjoy it?

I wonder if there are casual and hardcore scrabble players. Monopoly players. Do they have arguments about who is more hardcore than the others?
Actually, yes. There are hardcore Boggle players, Pictionary players, Arkham Horror players... While it is a game, some people approach it as a challenge rather than an activity. Its like the average forum poster playing on an NFL team.
Its a fair line to draw, you just identify which side of it you fall on.

So yeah, I'm leaving for Diablo III. I'll certainly be playing this from time to time, but Diablo just gives me far more entertainment right now.

No interest in D3 whatsoever.

I'm barely playing the ME3 mp at this point though so...it really doesn't make a huge difference if I were to.

They have 2 Auction houses, one for real cash and one for in game gold only. You can even sell items and gold in the real cash Auction and then use your profits to buy things from it, thus enabling you to buy cash items without using any of your own cash. How is that a bad thing, rich people can buy good items just like they can here in ME3, the only difference is now the poor gamers can get a piece of the profit instead of the company keeping it all.

Crappy servers? I'd like to see you execute a plan for flawless uptime with who knows how many millions of connections being made to your server farm every few minutes.amd098 wrote...
Would I leave ME3 for D3, yes. But blizzard's crappy servers are going down faster than monica in the oval office...
Blizzard, unlike Bioware, have a reason for server troubles. They're being crushed by demand. EA's game servers are just bad.

One of my friends got D3 for free and isn't even bothering to play it. The only game I'm looking forward to is the new Tomb Raider.

Stupid WORK that gives me money to PAY BILLS and BUY GAMES but keeps me from playing those games as much as I'd like.
It's like a Catch-22.

I'll execute a simple failsafe plan for you. Don't design the game to run off servers in single player mode.marshalleck wrote...
