One of my friends got D3 for free and isn't even bothering to play it. The only game I'm looking forward to is the new Tomb Raider.
ME (series, I love space opera's), Fallout New Vegas, and Forza are the only games I spend any real time in these days.

I will play both. The only thing that may keep me away from ME3 is Borderlands 2.

No, I'm a console player. Still getting D3 for my Laptop because I have fond memories from my childhood of mudering evil cows in D2. I will still play ME3 more though because I play on my computer every once in a blue moon.

I know horde mode with limited options is geting stale for some, but I played the beta of D3 and it was one of the most underwhelming experiences I've had in years...

Did those of you who've tried it actually enjoy it?

I enjoyed Diablo II at the time, however after looking at screenshots/gameplay footage over the past year or so for D3....I have zero desire to play it....let alone blow $60 on it. Looks like they just updated the graphics from Diablo II and that's it. An 11 year wait for this? *yawn* I'll pass.

I wonder if there are casual and hardcore scrabble players.  Monopoly players.  Do they have arguments about who is more hardcore than the others?

Actually, yes. There are hardcore Boggle players, Pictionary players, Arkham Horror players... While it is a game, some people approach it as a challenge rather than an activity. Its like the average forum poster playing on an NFL team.

Its a fair line to draw, you just identify which side of it you fall on.

i will leave ME3 only for ME4, the other games makes me the wating shorter, in fact i will play diablo but i didn't forget ME and GOW that are my favourite games and i won't exchange with anyone else. hope only that BW would introduce something new or i will restart ME from the beginning for the 6th time, and i'll cry as the first time for each chapter

I can't stress enoug hthat I really enjoy ME3's multiplayer and I'm sure I'll continue to play it... However, my usual ME3 team (myself included) has gotten pretty tired of the game at this point. None of us enjoyed the singleplayer experience much, two of us didn't even find motivation to finish it, and we've all unlocked pretty much everything there is to unlock in the multiplayer... the only reason to play anymore is for the gameplay itself, and the gameplay just ain't good enough to hold our interest for longer than one round.

So yeah, I'm leaving for Diablo III. I'll certainly be playing this from time to time, but Diablo just gives me far more entertainment right now.

I've got no real plans regarding new games until Resident Evil 6, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

No interest in D3 whatsoever.

No, considering Blizzard irritated me last night over my account hacked. That and I can't afford to shell out for every game that comes out.

I'm barely playing the ME3 mp at this point though so...it really doesn't make a huge difference if I were to.

Once I finish AC: Revelations, the only distraction(s) i've got in the future are AC III and Halo 4 (yeah, shoot me). So i'm set until 2012 Q4.

I get different kicks from ME3 & D3, so why can't I have both?

Between this game, Skyrim and swtor. I don't think I'll be playing DIII for a while. Too bad, I played DII for a couple of years straight.

Played D3 today for 6 hours. It is very good. However if you only like FPS games of course you will not like it. But don't believe peoples remarks about it who have not played it. Just like D2 changed many things from D1 and people cried and lamented that it would suck. Then they played it and found it was all good. Blizzard has done it again with D3. And regarding the Auction House you don't have to spend any real world money if you don't want to.

They have 2 Auction houses, one for real cash and one for in game gold only. You can even sell items and gold in the real cash Auction and then use your profits to buy things from it, thus enabling you to buy cash items without using any of your own cash. How is that a bad thing, rich people can buy good items just like they can here in ME3, the only difference is now the poor gamers can get a piece of the profit instead of the company keeping it all.

Would I leave ME3 for D3, yes. But blizzard's crappy servers are going down faster than monica in the oval office...

Crappy servers? I'd like to see you execute a plan for flawless uptime with who knows how many millions of connections being made to your server farm every few minutes.

Blizzard, unlike Bioware, have a reason for server troubles. They're being crushed by demand. EA's game servers are just bad.

My copy of Diablo III is sitting on my front porch and has been since 10:30 am.

Stupid WORK that gives me money to PAY BILLS and BUY GAMES but keeps me from playing those games as much as I'd like.

It's like a Catch-22.

Anyone checked out the hate on the Diablo 3 boards?

I'll execute a simple failsafe plan for you. Don't design the game to run off servers in single player mode.
